  1. Yup, that's the point.

     

    Once you will get that RNG quest - you will get it why it's RNG based. That's all i can say.

     

     

     

    No. Doesn't matter if it's the best quest in the game (and it's not all that amazing really), it has no job being RNG to even start.

     

     

    and the quest has already been spoiled for me, why because I have bad RNG

    Community wanted void trader to change unwanted prime parts into wanted ones. Instead we got legendary mods which no one asked for which can convieniently be used to turn a profit.

     

    Drop tables?? when xini farming was sitll a thing and drop tables werent encrypted, we were getting hellfire most of the time, when we said that hellfire is put 2 times into droptables de said we are wrong and that isnt the case without even checking it, community later posted droptables which indeed had hellfire put in there and after that incident de encrypted drop tables.

     

    Melee 2.0?? i personally proposed idea on how to reduce problems of melee 1.0 weapons, i proposed stances, which would offer buffs and debuffs which would allow you to adjust your stats to fit specific needs, i also proposed system which allow you to develop those stances. What de did?? put them as drops, which convieniently can be traded for plat.

     

    Trading?? i cant remember anyone saying "hey you know what would be cool?? if i could sell you my items for plat". No, back in the day where drop tables werent as heavily weighted as theyre now, we sometimes stumbled upon certain problem, i had i was running mission to get receiver but i got few barrels, my clanmate was running same missions but was getting only receivers and no barrels, so we asked for a way to give other person our unwanted prime parts. Also before trading plat was highly optional since game needed to be fair for those who dont pay money, nowadays we stumble upon "dont complain about plat prices since you can just trade for it".

     

    Drops 2.0. Cherry on top of a cake, no one asked for it, not a single person. Everyone was happy about going to xini and within few weeks obtaining all mods that were in game, new players also had easier time since every enemy could drop any mod and that made it easier to get mandatory mods. So what exactly happened that mods were segregated into specific drop tables on specific enemies and not only it didnt reduce grind, it made it much worse since from that point reducing dilution meant that weighted drop chances became more apparent and harsher than before. Having 1% drop out of 3 drops total will mean less diverse drops than having 1% drop out of 70 drops total.

     

    Yeah thats how de listens, sure they implement feature that ppl want, but theyll put a small twist on it which makes it a moneymaking machine, even at the cost of original concept, which most of the time defeats whole purpose of adding it.

     

    the last part is what frighten me the most, when a lot of players go away, and the money DE makes is not enough to keep the game free and will become pay to play, in some way the money I put long ago (for those damm warframe slots) is what keeps me playing, because I don't want that money to be a waste, in the other hand I played mode Dota 2 this week than in the past 2 months, rng based quest, can I pay 200 plat and do the quest? (sarcasm in this one in case someone doesnt get it)

  3. I wouldn't mind just utility mods if utility mods included stuff like natural talent, equilibrium and maybe augments too.

    Then I would feel it could be worth while.

    The problem is it is much easier and faster to farm void for plat than it is to grind 50k rep for Simaris and wait for formas to build and such.

     

    and I've done it, so many times and the big big problem of this is THE DAILY CAP, getting 20k per day seriously hurt, especially when there are a lot of people that can't play all the days, and perhaps have a weekend to grind

     

     

    I like the system implemented to unlock Exilus slots, and i wouldn't see obtaining them in any other fashion.

    Also, buying Exilus for 20p is an alternative in the market; that's equal to the price of a potato, which sounds about right to me.

     

    Those of you that enjoy crying, there's a nice excavation mission on earth. Maybe cryotic will freeze your tears away.

     

    you like it, I don't, can we move on to something constructive instead trying to insult the rest of the community that are trying to find another way to fix something they think is implemented wrong or just in a bad way ?

    Give them a hand and they'll complain you didn't give them two arms.

     

    Give them a thing they wanted for years and they'll complain it isn't for free.

     

     

    Besides, to the people who really think that two formas per frame will kill their finances, 20 plats per Adapter from the market is a pretty nice deal. It's actually really cheap, thinking that come raw resources (looking at you, Orokin Cells) cost nearly that much.

     

     

     

    Fine. Don't use the Exilus slots. That will teach DE.

     

    If they making choices that get the majority of the community unhappy, eventually a lot of players will stop playing, then what would happen? they will need to increase they way to obtain money to pay the developers, programmers, etc, etc, and in among other this the game can become pay to play, I have no problem putting my money long ago when I start to play, because I liked the game, now is the use of that money long ago that keeps me playing, and a RNG (unfair rng I may add) based quest piss me off so much that I consider once again, going back to thing as POE, LOL, but I take the easy way and play DOTA 2 for 2 days, we have to find a middle ground, DE has a long history of listen to the feedback, I dont want the utility mod for free, but also I don't want have to grind a restricted resource for 2 days straight (as a side note, im considering changing syndicates, and it will take me 44 days if I remember correctly because of all the restrictions to rep farm, and the a 5 days to get the other 2 syandanas), perhaps when we reach mr30 this wouldnt hurt so much (take so much time I mean) but once again I (and a lot others) may stop playing long before that.

     

    I think that the purpose of this thread is to give some feedback to DE, in a good way, don't ruin it trying to white knight it, or insulting the rest of the people that agree that something is wrong, write your opinions on the matter, why do you think is implemented correctly, or not, and what would you like to change, and what should remain the same

  4. the problem is a time consuming issue that is not necessary, put yourself in the place of a mr1 or 2 you get a new frame or melee weapon, wanna forma it, and instead using only 1 forma you end up using more, and for so taking more time reranking, and in my case Iim not asking for "get everything handed to me", because when you use a forma just like everyone else we have to rerank again, I'm asking not to make waste 'our' time when there's an easy solution.

  5. there's a such thing as patience and hard work as well... that has more quality than just wanting to rush everything and do less work for something you want.

    its a game, and I have my real life to work hard and patience, its like argon crystal all over again

  6. Can we please go back to U13 (I think) when in warframes and melee weapons we could change the aura polarity without the "The aura slot polarity cannot be swapped." message popping out ?

    I don't see the problem with this, especially now that you can't have your ult (or any other skill) after formatting a warframe

     

    Lets take mesa for example, wanting to add V polarities, and wanna have a - aura, I would have to format at least twice, when being able to swap aura polarity could be done with only 1 forma.

     

    Is not to be cheap with the formas, there are too many and they are easy to get, its to save time. No matter how hard or easy the game is for one or another, its to dont have to be grinding rank 2, 3, 4 times, when you could do it 1, 2 or 3 times. (always 1 less, I think that's good enough)

    Some of us respect lore and would never help the Infested gain control of Origin.Regardless of whatever rewards they could possibly offer.

     

     

    I want Io infested back, Xini, but I dont want those mutalist moas, but anyway, only time will tell, and since no matter who you support you get the weapon of the winner I will fight for what I like the most, catalyst > cores > forma > credit > reactor (have to many reactors left, and all the warframe, have 20+ catalyst and in 13 hours all the weapons)

  8. You get a loadout every 2 ranks? They did not appear in the top line and I just now figured that there is probably some key in bottom right corner to create new >.< . Well this is QoL improvement need even there.

     

    And I agree about the lists of items (may it be weapons, mods). They are ridiculously not clear. The mods being only 2 rows?! Is that a joke? The weapons being 3 columns? I am rank 7 and I think it's too low. It must be awful on rank 19 oO .

     

    I think, but I hope I'm wrong, thats because in a big TV far away you can't clearly see a list, but thats for consoles, again I think, in pc when I have the screen within arms reach is a waste of space (and time, and other things)

  9. First of all, having 1 Loadout option every 2 ranks could be fine for low mastery ranks players, but after a while it need to be even higher.

    and I'm mastery rank 19, 9 Loadout options are not enough, and as you can see the bar is way too large as it is, then, my suggestion is very simple, but I don't know how hard could it be to implement in the game.

     

    Put the Loadout, warframes and weapons (even kubrows, sentinels and sentinel weapons tho is not necesary at this moment) with a scroll down menu, I don't remember the right name even when I've done lots of this, so this image may help,

    is that way, you go to arsenal, have an unfoldable menu in which you can pick your loadout, and menus like that to pick warframes, primary, secondary and melee weapons, companions, and in some cases their weapons too.

     

    This is mainly because the change to have 9 loadout options at mastery rank 19 is too little, it should be exponential to the mastery rank, I think.

     

    And afterwards if you donit sell some of your warframes / weapons (used to do it, now I don't need to) having to scroll down when you can only see 9 items at the time, except in companions. its way too little

    Once again I don't doubt that this may be no problem for low mastery rank players, 3, 4, 5 even, may be, but after a while with so many different missions types, and needs, it need to be higher, and the main QoL thing is being able to change your loadout fast, a weapon, a companion, I could even say and arcane item, because having a loki for a spy mission is not the same of a loki for a defense, survival.. lets just say radial disarm loki, max duration - max range, regardless if you have acane helmet.

  11. This is something I want it to write for a while, but between my tendencies to digress, and the release of Blackrock Mountain and grinding 700 gold per week I've been kind of busy (among other things), I never liked how the finish post/s were.

    Anyway I was rewatching some of the devstream and suddlenty hit me "the year of quality". 

    Let's start with the good, shall we? 
    Excavations, sorry the pun but I really dig this kind of missions, 2 weeks ago I would say 'I dont know why', but now, I think is a mix between have to be actively moving and that the failure state allows you to keep playing the mission. When the counterpart, survivals, well the failure is run to the exit or die trying, and here is when some of the bad come in place, after farming survival 3 for... well weeks, you go in with a specific squad to the sewers and can be there for hours; a Nekros is a must, a Triny sometimes, then you can do mix like Loki+Vauban, all aboard the vortex, Speed Nova+Vauban, Speed Nova+Mesa, or even an Oberon, there are good and bad things with any combo, like sometimes taking over 5 minutes and a couple of deaths to reach extraction after being kicked to death by fusion moas, but the point is that after the first couple of rotation you can bind the skills to the mouse wheel and just go up and down while watching a movie or series, or whatever (I manage to watch 7 season of South Park, the last one of Farscape, and all Yu-gi-oh abridge series 3 times). No mention that rotations give you pack of fusion cores and orokin cells, if it was a sur 1 I will be more than fine with it, but a 3? oh man the anger, the rage...

    This take me to another good, in my opinion, the comeback to infested, dark sectors were ok (still are), but now and then you can't play, the clan/ally are fighting or pretending to, for one or another, the taxes sometimes are.... are just discouraging, even when there are noting like Io it's still a good thing as i said in my opinion, but once again this take me to a bad, the resources drops, research are just not need it afar from the first couple of planets for started players, perhaps, may be, isn't time to throw them into the dark sectors, or somewhere else ? not remove, of course not, big clans also need them for researchs, this all is directed to samples, because with invasion and outbreaks almost anyone can get their fare share of Detonite Injectors, Fieldron, and Mutagen Mass.

    This bring me to a related idea, so normal drops are orange, and research samples are blue, wouldn't be useful, helpful, neat if there were more colors, not 1 for every resources (may be), but doing it simple, the 3 res drop in every planet be separated like mods or cores; common, uncommon and rare, and give them each a distinctive color, I mean with carrier most of the times I have no idea what or where I picked 'that', but with more kubrows around, and once again newer players every day this may be really good to save time when you think "what is that over there?", and "do I really need it?". I don't know what is going to happend with the void so I leave this here, no point in talking about  control modules and why i have more of the than nano spores. I chose not to repeat all about Argon Crystals again.

    And with all of this I have to ask, how hard could it be to put all the missions perpendicular to the planet instead this spiral way where we need to 'rotate' the missions to reach the one behind the planet?, this way all missions are available instantly, some may say is just a spin, it takes like 1 second, and even more, but thats not the point, is to be comfortable, I can't avoid to think if this was in a big TV I may even ask for it, but is in my pc's screen, within arms reach.

    A good, a big one the search options with the mod collection, thank you so much for that, is a good start, I mean it has to be in the trade kiosk, it need to be there, sorting to almost all the mods even when is for archwing (gun or melee, the label with less mods than anything else) it can became a nightmare (oh that too a label for nightmare and corrupted mods would be nice, we have one for augments isn't ?). And it would be a lot better if we could write with '?' and '*' and '" "', Ex. "elemental damge" + * status, but that can wait.

     

    ONE OF THE BIG THINGS WITH THIS (thats why the caps) IT'S THE NEED TO CRAFT THE SAME ITEM MORE THAN ONCE AT THE FOUNDRY.

    Now I have to ask, Akjagara, why?!! how, WHO??? let this pass? I don't even try it but, it has a secondary fire when it slice and dice ? or when it run out of ammo start hitting like some kind of dual melee weapon ? I don't want to by any means to think that this was realease becase of the need of money, god no, but why, a lot of started players can even get it if they don't have more weapons slots, they may delete some weapons but this Akjagara isn't worth it, the redeemer was a new flavor, and kind of goofy, even fun, I remember doing a joke in the video of... Panthera I think, about next weapon asking for Akbolto... oh if only, I've even had all components for seer before I sold them just because.

    [you have no idea how many times I write and delete most of this, but thats it, it looks good, now to see if it get the job done] 

    And while buffing some of the new and old weapons, why still nerfing Synoid Gammacor?, congratulations you created one of the best secondary if not the best in 2 years of life it's amazing, now still is, but I have to run with an ammo mutation mod instead of... anything else, I'm ok with balance, but not under balance, let's face it side by side with Rakta Ballistica if they both have the same "bonus effect" I would still pick SG (its my choise and I'm sticking to it) it has an default elemental damage, the next weapon in damage is Dual Cestras if I'm not wrong and 2 more damage and has no elemental damage, any of the other syndicate weapons has so why over nerf the one that has, magnetic may be great 1 of the 3, really 4 of the factions but that leave 75% of the rest of the enemies scratching the tickles, if not remove the default elemental damage and give it some massive slash like Flux Rifle, yeah I purposely don't talk about Glaxion, Synapse, or Quanta, but now that we are here, why have the great option (for real is great) of 'secundary fire' and 'Aim' be able to be bind in diferent keys when no matter what i can't Aim my quanta? (or any other weapon with secondary fire for that matter). 

     

    I was going to talk about Forma BPs but that has being touch so much that I lose all hope already.

    I was going to add screen shots, some nice paints and old screens but I feel like I delayed this for far too long. There are much more to add but I think this is enough for now, agree or not with me, I would really like to know what you think in this and other related matters.
