When you link a mod config or appearance config in chat, it inserts it into the chat input as it should. When you then select the chat input to send it, the chat gets cleared, probably due to the Steam's on screen keyboard input window automatically clearing it. There is no workaround for this as far as I know, so this effectively makes it impossible to post mod and appearance links on Steam Deck.
