Since when did Wolfie ever have a chart node? You must be mistaken about something, Wolfie only ever spawned anywhere via the method that all the assassin's use, he was never assigned to a node.

He did get a tactical alert node in the final stage of the season, so that everyone got a fair chance to farm whatever drops they were still missing. Wolf and his minions were pretty much put into the Sargas Ruk boss level.

On topic, I think it's fair as it is. Some things should be unique drops/rewards for the seasons they belong to, as long as they rotate of course. That's what they said from the beginning. It would not surprise me if the Wolf season returns after Intermission 3 in a few months because DE are behind in everything and probably don't want another 6+ month Intermission.

  2. Getting all the arcanes that are worth having from SS, maxed of course. Still some Rare ones left.

Also the Titania prime stuff still.

Other than that I try to dive into frames I have not played much, and make proper builds and fashion for them. Also converting older builds to the new damage system and shield gating.

But maaaan it's hard to stay motivated right now. I need purpose.

  3. Not much to say really, at this point they really just have to deliver. Especially without Reb on there I have no expectations, just give me that potato drop in lack of NW.

Btw, next week the NW intermission have been going for 6 months. That's not only a half year without a new proper season, but also more time than the Wolf and Emissary COMBINED.

  4. A problem is that it's not always easy to get full squads, and some probably even prefer to play solo. Even if there are plenty of ground missions active, chances are it's just one or two players per squad with slow upload and overall efficiency.

  5. Arbitrations have been nerfed, and nerfed, and nerfed, and then also further nerfed. Another example of a good concept that was ruined because DE listened to feedback from players it wasn't meant for to begin with. What it is today is nothing of what it used to be and especially not what it was supposed to be.

At least they put in some more rewards now and then, but I can't imagine DE would ever touch the game mode itself again in terms of rules and difficulty.

  6. I have definitely had fun in the event and achieved a ton of stuff from it. But yea making it completely dependent on squad-link to progress was not a very smart decision.

But on the other hand this is pretty much a first beta for the squad-link mechanics (or more like pre-alpha, lol), so the statistics and feedback is important for future content.

  7. I want the selfdamage back. I never had a problem with it. I used Kuva Ogris all the time even with squishy frames. Just be careful with when and where you shoot.

Getting stunned (complete halt) by the smallest splash damage ruins the flow in movement and is just frustrating imo. Few things are worse than loosing control of your character, imo.

  8. Main issue with crossplay is that the game version has to always be in sync on all platforms to be compatible, and that is not how it works in Warframe. It would dramatically slow down maintenance of the game in terms of hotfixes and balancing/testing, which is really not something we need right now. Just because it works with one game doesn't mean it's optimal for another.

Also consider the major issues DE have with maintaining anything related to netcode. It would never hold up, just generate a plethora of new issues with connections and hosts.

You should ask on the forums 👍.@VieuxPappy is a success story where they asked for help and got it. Perhaps they’d be willing to help you down the line 🤔

Oh I'm not looking for help with it. I just refuse to do it out of principles partly because of the lazy design that just strips you from the hundreds or thousands of hours of progress you've invested to make the game fun, and partly because it S#&$s on solo-players (whether by choice or not). If the statistics show enough people don't get Grendel then maybe they will do something about it (probably not).

This mindset of DE to force players to work together when a lot of them can't or don't want to is doing more harm than good, which you can clearly see in the current state of Railjack and the squad-link mechanics of Scarlet Spear for example. Railjacks are not very solo-friendly, and even if you get it well equipped to manage the harder content by yourself it's very awkward and tedious to run around to different stations and roles that are obviously designed to be managed by a team. In Scarlet Spear you can't even shoot as a solo-pilot when transporting the satellite, so your only option is to just boost away from enemies (the actual gameplay).

The "Command" intrinsic-tree is supposed to be the key to solo-players so that we can have AI-crew, but which is still not available nor even talked about by DE while still adding more and more Railjack-dependent content.

Squad-link makes the game even more dependent on active players than the Grendel missions, which you can already see is catastrophic in Scarlet Spear when there are none or not enough, like during night-time in your region. This is essentially killing the solo-player experience.

This turned more into a rant than I intended, lol. Either way Grendel as a warframe doesn't interest me at all anyway, just MR fodder. But it's kind of frustrating to see it being more or less the only warframe I don't have in my arsenal.

  10. Everything digital can be accessed from home, and they can keep working in whatever software they usually use and upload their progress. Limitations are in hardware. They have said already that they can't or have limited access to equipment needed for recording dialogues, or motion capture, for example. Communication and organization is likely also lagging a bit.

But working from a distance is not exactly uncommon in this business. I'm sure it's a big change for DE, but they are certainly not dealing with the impossible.

  11. Yea I'm still boycotting the Grendel missions. That's just the most stupid and lazy thing I've seen DE do, so far. I'm not supporting this kind of crap.

And yea they never bothered to adjust the scaling to solo players, even if it was obvious from day one that no one would be playing these missions in pugs after a couple months. They like to imagine that we all play in squads full of friends. I'm like lol sure I wish I could get a single friend of mine to spend 100+ hours struggling through that horrible new player experience of yours.

  12. Well your body will be waiting for a long long time.

This year is all about New War, railjack, and catching up. Next year will likely be Duviri Paradox, and after that all the Duviri Content they didn't ship the previous year 😄 Also don't forget that the New War will be on going and may take us to Tau at some point as well.

They did show off some concept art of an infested planet last year, but that doesn't really mean anything but exploring ideas and could just as well become a regular tileset. DE said after Fortuna that they probably didn't want to do another open world due to how it generates content drought during development. I think Duviri Paradox may likely also not be an open world of same caliber as PoE and OV. Chances are it takes place on a smaller plane with more tilesets and space traveling through the Void and between dimensions.

  13. I gave it a first serious try about a month ago actually, and spent hours in there to figure out how to make the scene I wanted. Options for camera and lighting are decent, but I was very disappointed in how limiting it is when it comes to setting up a scene with enemies and stuff happening.

I eventually got what I wanted from it, but had to merge pieces from 6-7 screenshots together for the final result.

If I had more control over spawns, characters, and objects in there I could definitely spend a day messing around with it for that perfect shot. At least in times of no content to play.

  14. Could be because they are not able to record new dialogue until they can work from their office again.

They did however just release Nova's leverian like 2 weeks ago, so they might be holding on to it to spread out the "content".

isnt that solely what operators job has become? whats the point of having amps then .just mr fodder?

all the other sentient boss enemies require amps to be used .Also eidolons are going to meet its end where operator arcane and amps as well as their passives were a crutial part.

Slowly we are getting to the point where operator amps  might be completely irrelevant .The VOID damage isnt that much effective against sentients as it should be specially in this particular event . They just serve as a purpose of removing the resistance .

Operator amps do exactly what they have always done, deal with sentient defenses like shields and resistance. Void damage have never been effective against actual health afaik, just low level enemies where damage type doesn't even matter. The actual damage dealt to Eidolons, Ropalolyst, and Orb Mothers is radiation by any weapon.

If you ask me I'm completely fine with operators being all about utility, support, and stealth. I don't mind their void damage being key in some situations where it makes sense, but utility fit them a lot better than pure damage, especially in crowds. I think it's important that they don't compete with their warframes but complete them.

Operators don't really have any focus in this event though. Umbral/Sacrificial mods and Paracesis on the other hand finally got a chance to shine.

Thats whats been going on in the ss no? ..mesa and limbo in every squad ..everybody wants to be done with 17 condrixes within 20 mins

To an extent, yea, and the problem with that is that you don't exactly make a mediocre event any better by playing it in the most boring (easiest) way possible. People can blame DE all they want, but meta-gameplay is also part of the problem. The bonus rewards are time gated (and still quite bugged) between waves anyway, so that kind of efficiency doesn't even matter for most players.

I'm not saying we should nerf ourselves, just that there are plenty of other warframes that can do the job in more interesting and fun ways. I certainly don't mind adding a couple minutes to the total time if it makes the experience less about the grind but more about enjoying the game. There are still a variety of different frames popping up in squads that still do a great job, like Volt, Frost, Wukong, Nova, Chroma, Wisp, etc.

  16. As always I find the operator to be great support for other players that may not be as well equipped for the mission. My warframe is fully focused on the mission and have no problem doing what it's supposed to, while the operator provides energy, health, and cc to everyone in between the stages whether it is needed or not. That's just common sense in pugs imo, in any type of mission, and makes it all a lot more engaging and fun.

If I just relied on a Mesa and Limbo to get through Scarlet Spear I would've died by depression a week ago.

  17. That's weird. I got all the parts and 3 extra so far. I only had the blueprint before and never bothered farming Veil Proxima for the rest. I've been playing 1-2 waves each day since the event started.

I also got all the parts to finally build Broken War again, which was an unexpected bonus.

Maybe worth noting is that I don't cheese with Limbo. I kill everything.
