Plenty of real animals that secrete venom/poisons are not only vulnerable to those of other species, but also their own if the exposure is great enough or makes it into their bodies. For example: Rattlesnakes are not immune to the venom of other rattlesnakes, and if injected with their own it will kill them.

 

Thematically it seems a bit weird, but from a real world perspective it's not completely out of the question.

That is actually quite interesting. But, this is still a game and therefore it makes no sense.

 

And the real problem is that the new damage system revamp is confusing and rather illogical. Maybe it is to promote better teamwork by forcing people to each have a different weapon that does a different type of damage or something like that, but it was still a bad idea to do that and not give any warning. Just a personal theory (and maybe irrelevant), but I get the feeling that they already knew that no one was going to be happy with the changes and they decided to sneak it in there just to see what would happen and if it would be accepted as an improvement.

 

Honestly, I have no idea, but the fact that it was sneaky seems really weird. In any case, I am overly suspicous of everything probably, but I hope that they are able to collect meaningful data and improve the game from this even if I don't like it. A little bit of unhappiness now is worth major improvements down the road, I suppose.

I would like to say that all the random under the table changes  are annoying and they make me confused.

 

Toxic Ancient is now vulnerable to toxic according to the Codex.

 

"...What?" is the only thing that comes to mind. I just don't get it.

I just expected that they would be more difficult than t1 at 5 minutes.

Today, I was hoping to gather some prime gear from t1 survivals, and I used 3 keys. For those 3 keys, I found 3 Forma BPs, 2 of them only after 5 minutes. I thought these were much, much harder to find, or maybe my luck is just crazy today. Any other keys don't drop them like mad, just survivals. It seems a bit off...maybe the hotfix changed the drop rates for t1 survival accidentally?

Bug with Rip Line. You can also pick up downed players so they can move to you for the revive.

 

I was the Valkyr, and I was down, so I don't think that is what happened.

Were you able to move around? I've died a few times while activating Hysteria, and when the duration ended it would look like you stand back up for a moment but you're still down

I am not sure, because it was only very briefly before the match ended. I thought it was weird that the counter for extraction was still going with everyone down because I thought that it would stop or reset, but I could be wrong.

[Valkyr Survival Self-Reviving Bug?]

So, I was playing survival with a group and the life support ran out with 3 people in extraction. In order to survive, I activated Hysteria with only 5 health left. Shortly after that, our 4th man died outside extraction and the 3 inside also went down, but the timer kept counting down. Apparently (from what I breifly saw) at the 4 second mark, I revived from the downed state on my own without using a revive. The person outside extraction did use a revive and could have completed the mission, but I am not entirely sure that is what happened.

 

Honestly, I think I somehow self-revived, but I cannot verify whether it actually happened or if my eyes decived me, but I figured it would be worth reporting if I am right.
