  1. You people want everyone to play frost the way you play him. Why? I've asked this again and again...And yes, they did change the augment to work likes Styanax. Otherwise why would they bother increase the max overguard? It makes no sense! Read what my post was about! If you have a certain way of playing Frost, then even if they buff his augment to have the same amount of overguard as Dante or Styanax(that's not what I asked btw), it still WON'T change your playstyle. If anything, it will make it better for everyone else that wants to play frost in a different way than you do. Do you believe that build diversity is bad for the game somehow? It's not like Frost is the most overpowered warframe and this will push him to broken status 😆 Stop trying to tell me how to build him. That's not what the topic is about!
  2. Still irrelevand to the topic. The augment was changed by DE to have an increased max overguard similar to styanax's augment. But unlike styanax, they didn't change the base value, so you end up getting a very low amount of overguard on frost, compared to styanax. They clearly intended for the augment to work like styanax's, and they said so themselves on the devstream before the change. It doesn't matter if you think that overguard is important or not. This is simply an oversight that needs to be fixed and I'm trying to remind them.
  3. If you think it won't change anything, then why do you care that I'm asking for a buff? Let them buff it anyway then. It's not like it will make it worse. I don't understand why you even bothered commenting.
  4. You still don't get the point of my post. The reason this augment exists, is to provide team support, and right now it falls behind and needs a buff. That's what my post was about. If you want to use the augment just for the 0.5 sec of invulnerability, then go on and do that. No matter how much they buff it it won't affect your playstyle, so why do you even bother arguing about it? Not everyone has to play your way. And no, buffing frost's overguard from 60 to 120, isn't risking making other warframes irrelevand in the future. What are you talking about. Is Citrine making other frames irrelevant with her 90% damage reduction? Or Ash with his smoke shadow augment and Octavia with her 3? Or Mag pressing her 4 for instant shield gate to the whole team? Should I continue? Only Dante and Styanax can provide access to reliable overguard. That's only 2 frames. Frost's augment, as it is right now, remains irrelevant in any content above level 80.
  5. I mean, if overguard is weak in general, then that's even more of a reason to buff it. Right? But I don't see Dante or even Styanax having a big issue rebuilding their overguard to survive in steel path. Don't just afk in the middle of a goup of enemies and you'll be fine. But in order for that to be true for frost, his overguard needs a big buff.
  6. It's not that useless if you can actually stack it fast enough. It may be useless if you are staying for hours in a mission, but level cap is not what overguard should be balanced around. Using it just for the shield gate is an option ofc, but that was always the case, because the amount of overguard was too small to be usefull. Not to mention that using it for the shield gate may be an option for solo play, but it won't be consistent enough to help your team in a public mission. They reworked the augment to make it work like styanax's but they didn't increase the base value, so what's even the point.
  7. Frost's Icy Avalance augment needs some love. Even a build with 338 strength, assuming you hit 20 enemies every single time (which in actual missions, is not always the case), you still get only 3756 overguard. That means that you have to press your 4, at least 13-14 times to reach the max overguard. This is ridiculous for a frame with such low energy. Maintaining overguard for both you and your team, is hard when steel path enemies, can just look at you and that 3756 overguard is gone. That 60 base overguard needs to be buffed to at least 120 per enemy. It still won't be on the same level at Dante or even Styanax, but will at least be easier to maintain.
  8. Some of the weapon stats, like reload speed, ammo, etc, are still missing since the update
  9. Yes, please! Also, while enemies are ragdolled during the short vortex animation that pull has, they are not affected by magnetize. Mag does the full casting animation for it, but no bubble appears. It's been like this since forever.
  10. Looks like you ignored everything else in my comment. No, I don't run into some very inept Styanax players. I play him myself. Let me explain again how this works again. With styanax, enemies need to stay alive so you can hit them multiple times to get enough overguard. And that's easy when you play solo, but in a group, you have 3 other people trying to kill everything before you even have the chance. That means that you end up getting less overguard than you think, and you have to cast it way more times than you do in a solo mission. That's a lot of energy. And In low level missions, not only you have less enemies to hit, but also you hit them once and they die, so you end up with almost no overguard. Seems balanced to me. Frost is really bad right now, because even if I manage to hit 30 enemies, I'll still get around 3-4k overguard. And that's with a 250+ strength. The amount of energy you need to get to max overguard and maintain it, is ridiculous! Also, I never mentioned Dante for a reason. He's is the exception to the rule, because he stacks more overguard than the others and way easier too. But this thread is about nerfing oveguard in general, not Dante. Dante may be the issue, but not overguard. But then again, like I said on the last comment, other frames only have to press 1 button to give crazy damage reduction, invisibility and even complete immunity. Overguard requires too much effort to maintain in comparison. If anything, they need to buff it not nerf it.
  11. Please go do a regular steal path mission with frost or styanax and tell me how strong overguard really is. SPOILER: It's not! Trying to hit enough enemies to maintain max overguard is a challenge, when you have 3 other murder machines running around, trying to compete with each other for who has the biggest pp. But none of that really matters, because the fact remains: Even at regular everyday steal path missions(yes, not just level 1000+), you'll get 1-shotted by a random enemy without some kind of damage reduction, invisibility or abusing shield gating. But no damage reduction, armor or shields apply to overguard, and that means that it's nowhere as strong as you think it is. You need A LOT of energy to maintain it for the whole squad, constantly having to cast your 4 the whole mission. Most of the time, people are running in different directions like monkeys, out of range, and they either get a small amount of overguard or nothing at all, so you have to spam the ability even more! Meanwhile, someone like citrine, or ash, can just press 1 button every 20-30 seconds that costs almost no energy. Why is that not an issue, but overguard is? And the fact that you are immune to status effects, is not different than having primed sure footed and rolling guard equipped or using the helminth. Do those make the game really easy? No, they simply make the game playable. Overguard is very well balanced. At low levels, you don't have many enemies to hit in order to build enough overguard (not that it matters, since enemies don't hit hard enough to kill you anyway and they die fast), and at steel path missions enemies hit too hard, so you have to constantly spam it. If anything, Frost's overguard could use a buff right now.
  12. How is overguard any different than revenant with augment, or citrine giving everyone 90% damage reduction, or octavia and ash making everyone invisible, etc? Why people like to make a big deal out of nothing? I once joined an arbitration defence with a max range smoke shadow ash. Then someone started telling me to stop pressing 2 because it was making the mission too easy. That person was playing a high strength rhino with a kuva ogris btw 🤣🤣
  13. Thank you for giving us the option to hide the nipple attachments on the new deluxe skin. Could you please give us the option to hide the feathers on his leg too? They look so random and out of place, it's very distracting.
