Palus Pluto , dealing with high level infested that could 1 shot you was fun
also getting a coordinated team for Xini and going wave 30, i remember one run when we had a Loki that was our ancient hunter that would make sure than none of the reached the platform where we had Banshee and Mag doing a rag-doll party

one of the only ways i can see damaging powers remaining relevant would be making them deal a % of HP but that still sounds like a band-aid solution

some weapons are still "Top" but the range of usable weapons got wider
the armor/elemental changes affected weapons and frames
try cheeking the wiki for the 2.0 damage info because its rather large

in terms of raw damage i think that the Miter is there
its a fun gun regardless but i got 2 formas on it and the damage still feels weak vs level 35+ infested and don't even bother with Grinner

i can 1 shot myself as Saryn with the Penta if using poison mod ( goes straight to health ) and magnetic that just nukes shields

Nothing to say about Molt and Contagion, still gonna stick that space for a sprint mod
Venon needs a higher proc chance to be worth using, tried it on Phorid and took 2-3 casts to activate the Viral proc, why not make it 100% on the third dot ? so i cant be used abused as a "paint it green " and shoot skill to obliterate everything but still have uses
another alternative would be to spread when the target dies not only when the spores get detonated now THAT would make it good
as Miasma i'm kind of OK with the elemental change but it keeps the old issues of low range and bad status chance
what about using something like Oberon's ult that deals half of its damage as rad and the other half as impact but in this case
make Miasma deal 50% of the total damage ( power strength and duration factored ) on the first hit and the other half on the remaining so we no longer need to crouch behind something for 2 seconds to wait for light units to die at "higher" levels

Agreed , even tho the probability of the change getting rolled back ( like they did with impact>slash vs infested a while ago ) is there
i would'tn mind if they added a different color as you suggested or maybe just keep 1 type of armor for the light units and the other for the
-napalms
-bombards
-heavy gunners

with the different damage resistances for heavy and light grinner + everything having shields i imagine that T3 must a be a real pain

I'm in right now but the mission went from capture target to deliver payload
will update once i finish
K mission done and mod in the bag , nothing weird happened besides the mission type change

So , this is not the first time this topics has been disused but halfway update 11 players started testing new builds for the Ignis
But:
Upon using a forma i equipped this unmoded Ignis to some low level survival on Eris, got some levels and the polarity+catalyst allowed me to add serration (+120%) to it , well the arsenal shows that the damage when from 100 to 220 and i do know that that's not the damage per tick, but still going at the same map- same update etc the damage didn't went up
now in this i was hopping a fix would be shipped with 11.5.3 along with the other fixes to elemental stuff but nothing happened
so now i ask: is this and oversight from how damage mods works or is it some ( really questionable ) intended change to constant stream weapons ???

did it came with the serration/heavy cal fix for weapons like Ignis ? ( currently they don't add damage past the arsenal screen )

well we can still use the Halloween colors that came with the Halloween update so i guess it should be the same for the spearmint skins

Yeah i suppose it could score nasty numbers with heavy caliber
i mean taking away the travel time it has perfect accuracy and we don't use it at "long" ranges so it would be fine

if you still have them
