You mentioned heavy gunners , currently if you are knocked down or doing other fast movements like sliding the Egg shield will be a bit "off" some warframe parts , mostly the legs and enemies can shoot there

IF you run / Slide or get knocked down as a Mag with shield transference on some bullets are able to hit you , i blame it on the small size of the shield that sometimes your legs or head pop out 

 

Forgot to Add : Orokin lasers pierce it , no damage to shield ( Buble ) they just hit you like normal but i'm assuming this was intended or maybe not

From experience with the Nukor its damage stops being amazing after a while , BUT you can get almost 100% status chance and run RAd/Viral making it really good in Void / High Grinner if you pair it with high damage primary weapons
