We won't be happy until there are bundles of just accessories, just platinum, just air. Nobody wants all at once, why would you need air.

I personally need a lot of air.

The plats just a bonus though. They wouldn't sell just the accessories at a lower price because that'll lose earnings off of it. I'm sure they're already losing money based off of the changes they already made.

  2. Honestly I build both karak wraith and soma prime the same. Using both crit mods and 60% status mods to get corro, then use serration and split chamber, primed cryo rounds and then have a free slot for either a 90% ele mod to weigh for corro, or use it as a riven spot. Karak might sound weird to go for crit but I've realized it helps quite a bit, and brings it to 30 or so crit (don't remember the exact value).

  3. I say there's 4 groups. Founders who want to keep exclusivity, founders who don't care about exclusivity, non founders that want the opportunity to get the items, and non founders who don't care. I fall into the founders that don't care category. I paid for a product, not for its exclusivity, but for the actual contents.

I think you may also be looking into this a bit too deeply haha.

    There already is.

The average player is not full of every best mod and weapon and does not steamroll all content.

The people that push for these challenges are the ones that have beaten the game and they do not represent the average player, by the very definition of 'average player' and since they are forum posters, they represent an even smaller portion of the playbase.

I cannot disagree that removing your own power is not 'fun' for some people.

However, those same people sometimes need to realize the simple fact that no game company can ever keep up with the content locusts, it is not possible.

Therefore, if you _really_ want a game you love to remain challenging after you beat it, your only real recourse is to make your own challenges. This has been the case with these games since thier inception.

This exact argument can be found in pretty much every game forum. It does not matter if you don't like the reality of the situation.

Right but the average player is able to get to that point quite quickly. There aren't really any hard mods to get, apart from a specific riven, but even the hardest content in the game so far is easily doable without rivens.

I do understand there will always be that group of players hitting the highest level or tier very quickly with little to progress further, but it's been kinda where it's at now for... I'm not sure, a couple years I think? The number of players hitting that range is quite large I believe. There are requests for some replayable high level missions, which DE has recently been trying to fulfill. I get not all games are meant to be played forever, but with the way warframe is, there is constantly content being added in the 'early to mid section' of the game I would say. Why not try to expand on the 'end section' as well, instead of just trying to make the journey there longer?

  5. What an odd idea. How would this solve anything? Sweet, I took off my mods, now what do I have to attain playing the game that I didn't before?

The whole idea for endgame is to make a challenge that leads to a reward. Of course, the higher the challenge the better/more exclusive the reward. Sure people do that now on endless, but it's basically only for bragging rights or resources. Both of which mean nothing to the majority of players at that level. There needs to be some kind of growth or progression in a game to maintain your average player.

edit; also people like to use the rewards they earn, so telling people to not use mods they've obtained or rivens that they've earned through sorties or other means just doesn't seem like a great idea.

  6. I feel it'd be really tough to pay the creators with plat purchases anyways. Too many sales and shady plat traders that I'd feel it'd be very hard to gauge how much they should be paid. I'd prefer the creators be paid accordingly so that they continue creating such awesome pieces. I know through console they have it with plat, but as far as I know it isn't the whole tennogen catalog, and they're under a different contract altogether. Might be different with how steam chooses to run their stuff.
