  1. Well warframe maths is complicated,fun and something you possobly cwnt accurately get just by glossing over the stats in screen...it adds a bit fun for me i suppose..

    As many have said,the whole maths gets blown to high heaven when takong status into account.. also nowadays status can go over 100%,and stack. Then there is the question of armor shield and damage mitigation. So dps becomes a dynamical calculation. For example, ur frst shot which have a corrosive element do x amount dmg. But due to armor removal 2nd one will do different amount of dmg,even if every other thng remains same.

     

    Crit chance calculation is bit easy. U can just round the whole thing,and calculate.. but for accurate number,ur only source is overframe. There is another site called tennoware as well,though i fing overframe better.

    Another more brute force method is to change the way traditionally dps gets calculated. It is somethng i personally use. Head over to simulacrum. Take the beefiest possible enemy (before the nerf it was gokstaad officers,now dnt knw really),and then take ur weapon,and kill...time it...or look at damsge u r doing... A slightly different,but albeit rather hands on,prsctical approach. This procedure actually somewhat even more reliable than overframe,as u can look at the effects of hunter munition type mods,which doesnot drectly affect the dps calculation,but indirectly,becomes biggest source of ur dps...

  2. As everyone mentioned,nezha is a great frame. So i am gonna talk bit bout my build if that helps. Power strength is so ethng which should be frst priority... Secondly, if u want to do cc wth his 4,or support wth 1,then put a bit efficiency as well. I dnt go for much range,coz thts my playstyle. I like him tanky.so put adaptation in,if u want. Lastly the chakram augment. With tht mich sliding and speed he is a good melee frame as well...so steel charge is an option to go

    Well, played with mag for around 50 percnt of my playtime...aroudn 700 hrs....so yeah,i know.....she was a great frame.....not for everyone,was bit diffivult to maintain at high levels....but with shield gating i would say its welcome change....made her much tanky,a better frame overall....also enemy armor nerf plays well to her hand as well

     

    In terms of build,i run around 220 prcnt strength, 150ish range,130 ish efficiency,and duration of 80ish....with redirection,and fracturing crush/pulse augment depnding on mission levels,and preferences

As my previous commentator posted, GHS's vid is a good guide to show she is immortal. technically after shield gating it is possible to consider each frame to invincible.if not immortal. for frames which can regenerate shield through abilities, they are fine as it is; others can equip rakta dark dagger to gain shield back. further i would advice to put augur set mods in ur build, specifically on caster frames like mirage. 

  5. Mag is one of the biggest benefactor,i think... 2 mags in a team,can essentially make the whole team invincible. 4 can grant u and team overshield,3 can restore shield. Rakta dark dagger will negate extra reliance on energy as well. So that when u cant cast power it will grant u shield. Harrow is another one. Both are capable of regening their shield with abilities.....thats a big plus.

  6. Hey guys, greta work on the new update.

     

    A new thing which i have noticed after the update is that when a few enemies are grouped together inside mag's bubble,a slight hit of any weapon, makes the enemies(excpt the target of the bubble) start jumping around. The jumping doesnot subsides and increases to rhe level where they get spit out bu the bubble,in some cases gets completely ballooned away in the sky...

    I dont think it is any intended change,so it would be great if you look into it,and let us know about the fact as well.

  7. Salty Opinion, Chorma mains (or rather some conservative chroma mains); if a frame is only viable while using a particular side effect game mechanics; it need to reworked. So the better fix for the Chroma tears, is to ask DE for a rework. Vaubans cried for it, Embers cried for it; both of them got it, a fairly good one at that too. So rather than trying to revive a half baked game mechanics; I think, everyone should ask for a Chroma rework.

    I am completely in agreement with you. I dont understand why many other chroma mains arent thinking ahead like you. It is possibly the best way to ask for a rework of chroma; which would in all honesty will make the frame top of the line.

  8. @DatDarkOne this is what i read in the forum post by DE. 

    "Foe: Enemies - Corpus in particular - also have received a bit of a Shield Gating, but with skillful gameplay you can overcome this. Any Headshots or shots to Weakspots  completely bypass Corpus enemy Shield Gating. In addition, 5% of the damage dealt when hitting the shield gate will target enemy Health - this allows you to take your Forma fueled weapons back to low level enemies and hit them hard instead of hitting the shield gate. The goal here is to make Shields a mechanic you want to play against with Mods (Auras, Elemental) or to bypass with skill (Headshots). Slash Status Effects will now deal damage over time to Shields, Toxin damage remains as-is (bypassing Shields to directly affect enemy Health). Damage from Warframe Abilities will ignore the enemy Shield Gate (i.e if an instance of Damage from an ability is greater than the Shield value, it will go into health as well). "

    Be careful with that statement Tenno.  All abilities don't bypass shields while some do completely.  Meaning that Shield Gating just might have an effect on some abilities and not others.  

    can you please therefore elaborate?? I didnt find any mentions of ability specific shield gate by;ass... I may have missed it somewhere.

  9. Wjat i dont understand is without even testing the changes we are roaring in forums....... In my personal opinion,excpt chroma none of the frames are gonna be dead. In fct high health armor builds will be fine as well.... What changes they have done to inaros to cry about it?? Shields got a buff,how that transpires to others got a nerf??

  10. @Cuong666 i am going to say,like few vets above, it is probably a very isolated incident you faced. In this game,from my first day,i have always got help from the vets, and nowadays i try to return the favor as far as possible. If you are looking for some in game help,you can ping me up.

    Having said tht,i have also encountered the fact that some new players often dont like any comments on their gameplay (even if they are wrong/havent understood some mechanics properly). Also there are rude vets out there as well.... My advice,if some vets are rude to you for no reason,or for reason,dont care. If someone actually gives you some advice or comments on something,just try to listen it out.. but overall,it is possible one of the best communities around,so dont worry.

  11. as almost all new players have asked thought of, tried to find out, and eventually surrendered to the same problem, and the answer; you will too see, there is truly no one best frame. ye sthere are some frames which are meta for a certain job maybe, but that doesnot mean, other frames cant do that job. its just a question of efficiency. also frames do get reworsks, buffs and nerfs. so the meta shifts too. 

    a big reason t love warframe, is that you can play however you like, and with  whichever frame you like.. if you like tanking or dps, you can go for a certin frame, thevery next mission , you can play as a healer, or caster as well. warframe does not follow a particularly rigid class system

    you should look the thread up. I have posted my way of dealing them as well,Lt me just reitirate. first of all, the enemy scaling are different than normal missions. I dont exactly aware, if there is a conversion table between RJ lvl and normal mission lvl; but a safe bet is to consider RJ enemy lvl = 0.5 * normal enemy level. may be even more.

     

    I normally carry MAG PRIME ; which I nrmally main as well. Its stregth range build mostly; with a dash of duration; and counterpulse augment. as far as weapons go; ignis/amprex; paired with punch through mara detron; or Baza/prime;tiberon prime (with punch through) paired with atomos/maradetron. Nikana prime is presntly my go to melee.

    whenver the boardign party hits; get out of turrets (I mainly am a gunner). use polarize wave, move to wards the enemy as fast as possible, and cast your bubble. in case enemies have spread far, use more than one bubble. and then proceed with punchthrough weapon as well as a dose form your ignis, for the end blast. 

    Also a quick tip, after the enemies are in the bubble, use your polarize once more, you can strip the armors as well.

     

    Other than this; you can always use other CC frames. My next option will be nezha, high range and duration paired with a heavy hitter gun. the tactics is same, go to area, hang them with your spear, and murder them at your convenience.Rhino stomp can be used in same way too. Bastille off vauban I suppose will be meta for this role as well, but I can not testify myself.

  13. Votekick is without a doubt worst idea. I have been playing 600 hrs. rarely I have seen or my self participated in afk-ing. that said, it is there. but in many a game modes, it doesnt really help much u know. Whereas Votekick not only surely be used to grief people- either it will be some big time 'elite' (read snob), or even unknowing noobs (with high MR even. and yes, that is possible) kicking players out. Warframe always boasted a very helpful community; I myself got help many time, in the start. Votekick will fustrate new players as well. 

     if you find afk-er in ESO say; just dont go to the next round.

    Weapon cjoice is something whihc i am still figuring out..... The choices are quite varied,and distinct.... Its not dissimilar to what we have in terms of guns in nrmal game modes,but the manufacturer made armaments do put some dilemma 

    What i am going to do,is to use clan version of every gun... Presently my pilot is using cryo,and turrets are carcinnox. I got a sweet zetki mk2 apoc,which i am honna try next,with photor put in pilot seat.

    Although i think keeping cryo at least at one place is a good choice...

    I think,it is better to not do solo,with your own unuogeaded RJ. I did all my missions first in PUB. Then got some equipments,now i cn solo earth quite easily..... Now looking for better gear to solo saturn... Although i still believe RJ is not to be done solo,as of now at least...it is much more fun in group.

     

    You should try to join a pub group. Use the navigation panel from the orbiter and not from dojo/drydock. For,this will let you join other people's RJ.

    Aksomati are the same history, they are weak as heck. Same as it regular variant. The stats were barely boosted. Magazine size from 70 to 80? Only 10 bullets, man what a HUGE upgrade.... (not)

    Like you didn't even touch Aksomati's Critical Chance..... Why? It's a Prime.... It should have higher Crit.

    Again, WHY?

    This prime access is the literal definition of not a good Cost/Performance value.

    You still got time to open the code a type better stats. Please? I swear, it won't even take 5 minutes to put everything together and drop it in the next HotFix.

    PS: I edited the values, it is even worse than I thought. The critical chance  on the Baza was at 26% and for the Baza Prime they boost it to 28%....... Only 2% increase..... WHYYYYY???

    Not all weapon upgrade is about CC or status. The base Baza is a damn powerful gun, capable of shredding lvl 120+ heavy gunners. with Point strike and a fair riven you can easily reach around 100% CC; with Hunter Mu, that is the definition of OP. BAZA DOESNT NEED ANY DAMAGE BUFF.

    What Baza needed was the QoL changes, which is what exaclty we got. a Hefty increase in magazine size , which we needed, much lower reload, again needed, substantial falloff increase, again needed. As someone, who uses baza a lot, tht was the few changes I expected, and I got. I suggest  rather than simply looking at number, you go and play with it, and find out about the pros and cons. 

     Finally about some of your comment,  you should take a look at the weapn comparisons. except Acceltra (which though auto fire is not a rifle, therefore should not be taken in to account imo ). Baza prime is the 2nd highest in the CC department (highest is 30 of soma/prime, telos boltor,prisma gorgon); highest CD; So it is utterly incomprehensible why you are saying BAZA prime is underpowered.

    And in case you wanna point that, your point is what is the pros of primed version over the ordinary one, refer to the 1st para. if you dont think they are not upgrades, my friend, it is impossible to have a discussion with you. 

    Ultimately,  Maybe the only one point I may agree with you upto soem degree, is a slight more increase in SC.Although ultimately it doesnot matter that much.

    I agree... I am mainly plying as gunner. In pug groups, many a time, you dont even kow, which is the gun; therefore, cant know it's range as well. a lock on target (with change in color of the reticule, when in range maybe) may be a big boost.

    Other than these; I do want a few more things:

    1) as railjack has much traditional multiplayer rpg-esque elements; a new recruiting tab, with option of naming specializations. Im specializing in gunner, so I may need a pilot or engineer.

    2)a matchmaking process (countdown) similar to normal missions. I may want to go in battle with only a 3-4 member squad.

    3) the forge refine system, is probably a very few things, i am a little skeptic about. although wont pass comment, untill i learn about it better.

    4) Railjack missions may drop archwing/archgun mods.... (idea courtsey a clanmate)

    5) The repair costs of those damn manufacturer guns..... 24k pustrels for a mk1 gun; are they kidding?

    so now we can be in space...... Personally I like the railjack system; and the progression system too. At the same time, you have to be absolute nuts if you dont wanna change anything. So lets talk... WHat are your ideas? what the things, you feel could need a touch up. Technical problems like bugs, glitches are everyone's problem; so lets keep the common thing out.

    Also a disclaimer: This post is intended for people, who likes the system/railjack, and want to change or add. If you dont like it, you can obviously talk about it; but please dont comment that railjack is warframe shattering. I suppose there is enough whining posts already for that.

  19. Apart from the bug the railjack system till now,have been promising to me... It is the first rime DE put something in the game, which makes ot more traditional roleplaying multiplayer games (different players focusing differently in the skill tree). And that is a good thing.

    Bugs are a problem. Which i reckon is due to the fact they have shipped out the content maybe a week early. The thing is,for so many so called long term players,it looks like,very few do appreciate the fact DE patch things real real quick. So given the track record, Empyrean wont be different.

    Finally the difficulty curve. The mode actually is tough, in the sense of enemy level,complexity as well as co ordination. Now that sjould not be a bad thing.... Having mission failed a few times,( not due to technical fails) is not a bad thing,rather good....many of us in warframe,have become press-4-brain-dead-zombie. Now having smething which requires some thinking,and execution is good.....

    All it requires to be successful,to see,where de goes from here...its not a bad platform unlike kuva lich es.....lets just wait and give de the benefit of doubt

    with Peye and sepahn:

    1) vargeet II jai gives :- 1.03 attacj speed , 34 cc, 12 sc and 212 dmg

    2) vargeet jai II gives :- 1.167 speed, 27 cc, 16 sc and 214 dmg.....

    to compare, the all powerful Nikana prime at base, gives: 1.08 speed,  28 CC, 28 SC, 198 base dmg

    IMO;therefore, both are almst close on stats; and you havent wasted anything....personally i am happy with both of them. with the recent melee updates; even previous toothpicks are recently acting like Nuclear warheads..... so I think, you are good..... 

    Further, I am not a veteran of the game in any case; but have put a good amount in it; so if you need any help regarding modding, or evven if you just wanna discuss something; you can message me here..... have fun with the zaw 

  21. Me and my clan are thinking of naming our railjacks per our clan name.....our clan name is 'Akshauhini' (which is a name of divine army as well as a measure of army like battalion; as per hindu mythology). So we are thinking of naming our ships ANS- akshauhini navy ships
