  1. 1.As far as standalone support goes, I'd say Revenant is definitely the best support with his augment. He provided affinity wide immortality with no cd and also CC's opponents to make them easier to hit, while providing status and knockdown immunity and all in one skill. Also does the same at level cap. You can take any helmith to meke him give you damage or something else (I prefer nourish, because everyone can spam their skills all day long with the 400+% ability power (in Circuit it pretty much means free level cap for your entire team, provided they don't leave. Roar or shared eclipse also works great. WIth his one he can heal defence objectives to full in 1 sec when he captures a leech eximus. While also taking away agro on multiple fronts.

2.As far as general standalone support goes, I like Gara with nourish. Your whole team can go afk for all she cares, and things will be dying just as quick, though this is mostly while camping. Everyone will be a walking or standing black hole that can't die. Sadly 99% of people can't play Gara properly or don't have the discipline to do so. That is why Gara goes under the radar of most people.

3.Wisp is most people's number 1 since she pretty much makes you immortal at everywhere except level cap, while boosing your movement and attack speed to near volt levels. She can also full strip OR provide you the whole team with infinite energy thanks to archon stretch and nourish, Or solo anything while giving a satisfing effect as support.

4.While Stynax can do a lot, I think he suffers from being unable to do many thing properly at the same time. Armor stripping has limited range and angle, Overshields and overguard is great, but I don't think it scales as good in later levels. Being unable to protect defense targets pretty much excludes him from the running for best support altogether. He could fit right in with any other support to make a great combo though.

I can't think of a single frame that needs more than three loadouts (the majority of frames only need one or two).

While frames don't NEED more than 3, a lot of them can use them, heck I have 5 on Gara and I still need more. Speaking of Gara, the default builds on weps suck at stat sticks and many frames build stat sticks differently. Gara , Khora, Ash, Mesa,, Excalibur have completely different stat sticks and that alone means you need at least 5 loadouts for them and for a default build. On top of that if for glaives or weps where you normally want a heavy build, but what if you want to have a normal one for circuit as well. Now you need 7 completely different loadouts for any weapon. For some frames you want you secondaries or primaries as stat sticks as well. That also requires modding if you haven't done it in advance for every wep you have.

The very idea that you can have all loadout you need in only 3 slots is laughable to me at least.

I personally dedicate one loadout slot on every melee I own as a stat stick for Gara, since the default builts suck as stat sticks, but are often better that what you can do with only 30 capacity for normal damage. I usually also try to make something basic in the first loadout, but as I said, often the default is better, if only just.

On a side note, the whole showing of what you have available doesn't seem to work after the first time. It consistently show me the frames and weapons I picked last round after the first for the reset.

I don't see why modding is relevant, your stuff should already be modded if you've raised it. Once you're in the cave, you can choose what mod loadout you want to take, if you have more than one (every piece of equipment comes with three loadout slots for free, too).

To me at least 3 loadouts for each weapon are too few. In general the change you have to is at least change the bane mod in your general loadout for something that isn't it. To me at least it seems like to many steps to go to loadout the normal way. A simply click bringing you to the arsenal with the things you clicked equipped would save soo much time for people with slower machines.

I would love it if the cave was my own instance and i could just join the circuit with other people that have already decided what to play with. It would be 10x less annoying. As it is now, other players ruin the experience for me more than anything else.

The idea should be that you can communicate with the people on what frames you have and what the team needs. In reality people usually just pick the best frame they have available. Rarely do I have the time to communicate with the team on what I can bring. Most of my circuits run start by everyone going in before I choose my stuff (because I don't load as fast) and entering. At which point I face a timer and I just have to quit because I don't like dealing with the BS of having everything be random. So I so then I have to wait for another few long loads before this likely repeats and the guys that started early will probably leave in 1 or 2 stages because they're only 3.

So the cave being an instance my be an option, but I have a hard time seeing it when thinking about it's coding implementation.

  4. Haven't gotten freezes in the last 2 day, but who knows. The whole thing is super random. On the other hand, looking at the bug number it looks like just nu number of the report. That means that in 40-50 seconds about 650 people had crashed in some way and sent reports at that time xD. Hope it's fixed or mitigated by now. I in no way expect things like this to be fixed quickly or on demand, but it's probably a priority of many people are experiencing it.

NVM, it's still very much there. Already go 5 crashes today. I'm about to do my 3rd vault since every time I crash my nightwave progress gets reset 😢

Crashed 2 times in two different mission during the Sortie,

then crashed 3 times during deimos vaults,

then crashed 2 times while in solo and trying to mine 1 cave in plains.

Then Crashed again while doing exploiter orb (probably won't try again, as it takes too long to do solo).

Once while trying to enter Fortuna after completing a bountie

In Teshins cave while pressing Q to pick my first decree.

During Circuit defence at stage 1.

Then once during jackal in the same run (sadly ppl didn't wait the 2nd time so lost the whole run)

All those are in the same afternoon.

Panders to extremely long endurance runs as the only time-efficient way to bring in tier progress

The sad thing is that it doesn't. It just panders to average runs of 10 to 15 stages imo. After that things can get longer if you don't scale well or insta-loose everything. (I would prefer it scaling more though, but I can see why that'd make people feel cheated, so it's no big deal.

    • Stage 1: 100 Circuit Progress
    • Stage 2: 110 Circuit Progress
    • Stage 3: 125 Circuit Progress
    • Stage 4: 145 Circuit Progress
      • Also awards an additional 50 Circuit Progress once per day.
    • Stage 5 and onwards: 170 Circuit Progress

Is what the wiki says, unless it's been changed

I do agree that making things faster in Lone Stories undercroft may have merit. I personally don't like it, but people suggest it as the best way of farming clamps. From my experience it takes about the same time as a normal run, but you get less options, which to me makes the whole thing get boring much faster.

While doing runs solo or with a dedicated group is always faster. I personally find more entertainment (and frustration) at playing with pubs.

Never liked sp circuit, slogged through it for the stuff, i wouldn't change anything about it though. i just avoid it since i have the incarnons i wanted.

I mean, what changes would actually make it enjoyable for you? Do you dislike the mode in general, or are unhappy with the power or difficulty curve? How long are you average pug runs or maybe you run solo or with a group?

It's probably important to pinpoint what people don't like about it in general.

EDIT: I tried it as a SOLO, and that worked fine. It seems the only time I've had issues is when it's with 4 players. I'm not sure what is going on, but I got a feeling it's something to do with Crossplay probably.

That sounds like a completely different problem.

  8. Crashes consist of my screen freezing and after a wait of 10-20 sec I get booted to the desctop with a send feedback and describe the bug window.(which I have many many times)

Since the first hotfix after Dagaths patch, the game has often crashed on me. The first few times happened while loading the initial screen, while on the login screen, while my warframe was turning after logging in, in rapid rapid succession. After that it kept crashing in orbiter, during missions in any and all parts of them including while loading my extraction.

It's safe to say that the crashes happen at all times and don't seem to be related to anything being done in game (moving objects etc)

I don't see any topics depicting this so I'm starting to wonder if it's a me only problem.

Today alone I crashed more than 9 times (often loosing progress in the process)

I tried various things including uninstalling the game, deleting all files and redownloading it from scratch.

  9. I view this in a similar manner as I do in FF14. It does no harm and just gives players options to choose from. More specifically: 'Do you want to start earing archon shards, credits, plat and galvanized mods now or After several months of playtime?"

You can always do the story and map later. Ofc that will make the appearance of people who have no idea what they're doing a lot more common. Though, they are quite common now too.

FF14 is doing great, so it's possible this will go well, since they want to make it available as a gift from someone else as well.

Add way of hitting Orowyrm with melee

That's another good one. I really hate it when I can't hit it, Maybe make the wurm climable so we can hit it?

Kaithe able to stay stationary while in the air.

Also sounds great, but it's probably not too big of an issue. It makes you get better at aiming (while annoying you in the proces

Raise or make the undercroft ceiling impassable instead of being a respawn barrier.

I agree with rising it. It's a bit low on some stages. Expanding it on the sides is also a good idea.

Overall I found it pretty decent, if tedious, insane bug issues aside.

    Two things that need fixing:

    1. Incarnon weekly cycles need to be replaced by a shop or token/credit system that we earn every 5 rounds of Circuit. One token = one adapter. I don't care if we're still limited to two choices per week, I just want to get rid of the long wait between rounds. It will only get worse if new incarnons get added over time.
    2. The game needs to stop assuming what my "best" weapon variant is. If the game decides to pick something like a Boltor, I want it to list all of the Boltors I own as well as the variants I don't own.

Personally I only pick gun-related decrees, so maybe there should be a way to filter out decrees I will never choose, but I suppose that goes against the "rogue-lite" aspect of it (bad rolls happen, it's up to you to play around it)

I'm also not a fan of trying to hunt down plants in Duviri just to build my incarnon, because I already spent plenty of time playing Circuit to get the adapters... but I guess they need to bribe us to play Duviri somehow

for your 1. I'd think DE may add a shop at some point in the future if they haven't already (can't you buy stuff at cavalero?). Though an option to trade in 3 adapters for 1 of your choice from ALL adapters sounds like a decent idea to me. Looking at the current state of adapters, I don't think DE would consider drastically reducing the grind and FOMO this brings to the Circuit.

Your 2. is actually something I thought about but forgot. In for a lv11 intrinsic in opportunity I'd add the option to banish decrees you reroll or be 1 free banish every 2n pick similar to that one card tower game.

  12. Soo, I've been doing a lot of Duviri for getting duviri weapons and incarnons and I've come to the following conclusions after farming just about everything (except Cinta. Puzzles are always broken whenever I try them as client).

1.Add a Command that reloads the mission to the last stable checkpoint. (with a 10-30 min cd)

-for Duviri experience it would just reload to the last gathered decree and possibly reroll a new stage objective (because sometimes the current one just breaks for no reason0. This would futureproof the mod from bugs after Updates/Host Migrations/just random sht.

-For Circuit Just rolls you back to the end of the last stage where you can choose to exit (yes, for example bailing out of a mission you'd loose would be OK) Many different bugs continue to leave you stranded after host migrations or even just normal stage changing. Fixing them all would probably take a lot more time and figuring out how to create such a command.

-For normal missions, it'd just reload the entire mission from start (rerolling the tiles and all loot gathered). After objective evacuation is possible, it would reroll the tiles placing you at the start of the mission, but with objectives completed and your loot where it should be, while keeping the extraction point open. (some maps just break, objectives go away, etc)

2.Make all available random warframes and weapons appear in some form in the duviri mission selection screen with the option to customize them. As well as the option to change your focus school.

-Right now, getting anything started is pretty annoying. First you start a run to see what warframes you get, then you see your focus school is wrong for the frames offered, then you quite, force host migrations, possibly breaking all incarnon weapons and or intrincics for the people left inside, which will force them to leave too causing most host migration the the ppl that replaced you, which can often continue in a chain for some time until everyone eventually gets booted back to their orbiters. I've sometimes been unable to start a run for over an hour due to parts of this happening in every party I enter. If people can get their setup sorted before they enter runs will start easier, less bugs (due to host migration) will happen, people won't have to constantly abort until everything is sorted and ready to go. (and devs will have more time to work on actually important bugs while getting less bad feedback)

    3. Make the Decree "Persistent Attrition' Into an intrinsic (lv11 combat probably). And make it work on the omniwurm

-The decree is borderline mandatory for Steel path jackals if your loadout sucks. And if you don't have it you can continue hitting it for 45 min, or howver long it takes to autofail you. If you're warframe relies on abilities, you're hardcapped  when a jackal fight appears, which doesn't feel good ever.

    - The fact that it doesn't work on the wurm is strange since that would be the only target you'd need it for in normal SP experience.

    4. Make Circuit track progress permanent. (as in, 'it stays after your fail')

-I'm getting disappointed pretty much every run every week while doing the circuit. It feels bad every single time. After 20+ weeks just doing the first 4-5 stages becomes boring. Isn't the whole point of the Circuit for people to have fun experiencing things they can't in the other modes.

-People always leave early or when the slightest non 100% objective appears. The leaves me with a lot of. What would happen if we continued feelings and regret and we couldn't go further, to where things actually get exiting.

-As far as I can tell most people just quit because they don't want to loose progress due to random bugs and defense target getting blasted on 2 second or the Survival where no life support exists or facing an unkillable Jackal or because they've reached reward tier 10.

-Implementing they command mentioned at point 1 will solve the most common reason for early quitting.

-Improving the reward track for after tier 10 would solve the last one. Imo pathos clamps or moving the SP arcanes there with 2x points required would fix normal. The current rewards on normal are not worth it for anyone. For SP just replace the last 3 rewards with a built forma , reactor bp and Catalyst bp and some ppl would go for them.

    5. When you join Duviri experience or Circuit, Don't force teleport people to the undercroft/kullervo.

-This in most cases breaks the game (ppl appearing with non-functioning frames weapons operators etc) and makes people instaquit. People who don't get enough time to pick their stuff also instaquit most of the time (I know I do every single time).

    6. Bump up the defense scaling of defence objectives and extractors by a lot in Circuit.

-At higher levels they die way too fast, even if you oneshot every mob that appears within 2 seconds.

7.Increase the life support drop chance in SP Circuit survival.

-It often feels like you just can't get enough no matter how fast you kill them. Sometimes you get a ton, but most of the times it's a struggle and people quit because of it too

8.Add more ways to increase survivability

-There are very few ways to increase survivability in general, This often leads to people who start getting oneshot by anything quit instantly. At peast having the chance to mitigate that would be good

    - adding a lv11 endurance intrinsic that gives you 10 final armor for every decree sounds like a reasonable solution

-more decrees that increase survivability (DR more hp or more armor or shields).  The only survivability decree currently wants you to have another decree to even work (or a way to do corrosive)

9.Nerf the Jackal or add a way to make the fight more doable, when not having an optimal build.

-adding the intrinsic in point 3 would be one catch all solution

-adding drops that decrease it's armor by 25% on the map (with objective markers, possibly guarded by something) every 5 min by 25% would be another. Many things can deal with it, but it sure does feel bad, when you don't have any of those around.

    10. Have an option after every 10 Omniwurm kills to bring in whatever loadout you want. (like how after 10 invigorations you can invigorate whatever frame you want)

-Was running out of things to fix, so decided to bring something that'd make more people want to play duviri (who don't have all the frames)

-Honestly, it's either that or ask for Pathos clamps in the Circuit, but DE has probably already heard that one.

These are the things I think would make Duviri Great and an actually enjoyable mode to play. The current state of duviri in general I can sum up with the work 'Pain'.

What does everyone else thing. Are these suggestions reasonable? Do you have your own? Do you look forward t playing duviri every week in it's current state?

  13. At this point I've done over 1000 rounds of the circuit, so if something can be seen from above, I've probably found it. On a few maps however I sometimes fail to find them despite spending over 10 min looking, like the one with the tree in the middle or the one with the tents (yes I know about the spawn locations in the tents and in the big building). Even with wukong and titania I sometimes fail to find all (so I probably just can't figure out some locations)

From my experience All spawn locations are fixed and there aren't that many of them on each map.

  14. I thought I'd check out some guide or map for circuit decree fragments, but I failed to find any. Has anyone done anything of the sort? One would thing, that by now there would be some guides on it, since a lot of people do steel circuit. There aren't that many maps nor that many location (I'm probably unable to find just 4-5 of them (or they may be in the ground or invis, who knows)).

Sadly decree itself and fragment as keywords both brings up mostly explanations about decrees and the fragments in the diviri experience.

If there is such a map/video/guide, could someone kindly point me in it's direction.

  15. I'll give my 2 cents on the Companions:

1.Vacuum/fetch should still work while pet is down (as it is currently). Not sure why that'd be nerfed.

2.Loot radar should stay while pet is down.

3.Adding a mod that just says 10% lifesteal for pets would help pets stay alive or just add it to the lifesteal link one? That'd also give people a reason to actually mod damage on companions.

4.Adding a passive damage pillow (damage attenuation (either archoin/demolist/acolyte)). Just copy-paste it onto all companions, and that will help significantly at higher levels). If pets are modded and protected with skills, they may live long enough to survive heavy fire in high level content.

5.Adding passive vacuum and loot radar to players would also solve the whole inconsistency of loosing it when pet is down. (and increase range when both are up).

6.Giving us the ability to use the same commands Kahl has for non-sentinel companions would also be great in the future. letting is mark targets for the pets to attack or telling them to stay in an area (close to us (maybe withine 300 yards)) or just telling the to regroup would be nice.

7.I watched a YT video saying skills wouldn't work on companions for healing or DR. Reading it now seems like it will work. Hope it's the 2nd option.

8.Like most people have said just increasing EHP by 50% or so won't do much on it's own. While pets not having permadeath is the best thing coming out of this. I'd be good for this update to actually make companions great.

  16. I was wondering how to optimize my mesa in terms of elements and support and tested how much damage she gets when the enemy has 9 cold stacks (Without mods). The result was that she gets 0 damage. Not 50% as advertised. Then I added just the crit mods for chance and damage and the result was the same. Not 1 point of damage difference with 0 and with 9 stacks.

I can't imagine that it not working would be intended, even if it's a small damage buff in general.

I didn't find another thread mentioning this and it looks like a bug to me, so I decided to post here.

  17. For Interceptions I just use Khora. with range and some duration. Place cage in mid wait 10 sec. go cap another point, place cage there, return and recast cage on middle(or first point captured), then capture the other 2. After that you just refresh your cages until you win. At the end you just clean up the mobs in a few hits.

Remember that if you kill any mobs early and eximus spawn you'll have to break their overguard so that they can be captured.

As fir the steel path being empty topic. I think it's expected. Excluding infested missions, the mob density isn't that much better if at all. And the missions rewards are have the same % chance but take longer.. Imo if the devs would increase the rarer rewards on each mission, then some of them may get repopulated for a bit (until ppl farm what there is to farm)

So steel paths issues imo are:

    Mob density and mission rewards.

As someone who's currently clearing the Starchart, I can say that I don't actively do it (although I could clear it in two or 3 days). I just have other things to farm still.

  18. Today, this BS happened again in an unexpected way.

Did a 40 min railjack survival. Everyone went back to the ship. Mission accomplished. Then the host left the party before we went back to dock. 2 host migrations later I appeared at the dock with nothing. 8 relics gone. No loot or affinity. How is noone complaining about this. It happens to me so often that I can't imagine it's not happening to others.

    Update:

Just had another fun experience. In zeriman (haven't been here in a while). We did the mission, Got to the partal back to the elevator. 3 of us we there instantly. Two of them left the party instantly. I tried to leave too but I had no option to. Then the host came to the elevator, instantly left the party despite only me being inside. And then I connection to him and my time was wasted.

Could anyone tell me what I could have done?
