So you mean to tell me that its OK to use "cheese" when it helps the team? Or does that negate the "cheese" if it helps the team? This seems pretty biased to me.

Just because ive never seen Frosts do anything besides snowglobe should mean that I should lose hope in frost players? Or that theres no diversity in Frost players?

My point of other examples, (some not named to avoid nerf herders) is that there is more than one way to wipe an entire room in an instant. Once we nerf one of them into the ground, another will shine almost instantly. Then people like you will cry out that its "insane and mindless". We will just have a repeat of this until every frame's damage abilities are useless. Then the game becomes boring for majority of the playerbase.

You and I have very different views on cheese, my friend.

With Frost, he fills out a job in a team with his snowglobe, (Def pob, excavator, etc) that doesn't mean he can't use his other abilities which will happen because Frost isn't like Mirage where the other abilities are basically useless. Frost actually has to do something.

Using the argument not to change something because it'll highlight something else is a terrible argument to make.

Bringing in other forms of cheese to counteract the argument of a change to Mirage (Even though this isn't what the thread is about, other forms of cheese has threads about them already and they will be addressed if need be) only outlines the fact that I'm basically talking to a brick wall, white-knighting for the Miragulor.

I've already put up my two cents, I'm done here.

No there isnt tho. If somebody chooses to use a frame for one single use, that doesnt always mean there is an issue. I use Frost exclusively for snowglobe in defense missions, is there a problem with Frost? No.

No, because it doesn't obliterate a room. I'm not basing anything on using only one ability in any warframe's kit, (Your comparison isn't really valid, as you're filling a job in a team role so others can do theirs, etc) I'm basing it on the fact that it completely destroys diversity. I have never seen Mirages use anything else besides Hall of Mirrors, S. Simulor and Telos Boltace. If people are committed to this setup because it's fast and it kills everything to a level where it's insane in a mindless way, then I'm really losing hope in a number of Mirage players. (On top of that, nobody can really do anything in a pub match because these combos are so fast)

Also, the other cheese tactics you mentioned aren't good comparisons either, as some of them just help other players out in killing (Spore Saryn and Banshee with Sonar) and people actually use other abilities on their kits with these frames, and I can't say the same with Mirage.

should they nerf mirage with the phage, tonkor, tigris, hek, soma, hikou prime with concealed explosives mod, or any of the other 100 ways you can cheese thru missions with minimal effort? people will always find a cheap tactic to use and mirage is designed to be a bit cheesy. in case your not aware the downside is that she is a glass cannon. a few good hits and she goes right down cheese weapon or not. In my humble opinion she works as intended and so does the simulor. its only that OP in low level missions. i have taken mirage and the syniod simulor to sorties of all kinds and trust me its not as overpowered as it feels in regular missions.

    just my opinion tho :)

The reason why the OP wants a change isn't because of how OP or not OP mirage is (Even though her Prism Pre-Nerf was completely ridiculous), it's just about the only thing people use on Mirage because it's EZ mode for them, boring EZ mode. Just about as boring as a Resonating Quake Banshee locking down a defense map and killing everything (Sortie Level) just staying in her ultimate ability. See anything similar? That's basically Prism (pre-nerf) with the ability to kill.

Every single Mirage I see in pub always has a simulor. Always. Even in sortie missions I see it, and she thrives there as well. I think Mirage needs to be looked at for a rework, because she's just not a fun frame IMO, only thing her kit has ever endorsed was to cheese to the max.

If Warframe was a full on advanced virtual reality

What would you do in the game?

That would imply that we had enough money to get the hardware for VR, some do, but most don't. (I sure don't lol)

I would just do the normal stuff I play right now.

Chill in my Orbiter all day, playing cards with my Operator.

    Ya Weeb.

  5. I just did an exterminate on Ceres, and after I killed everyone, I literally just spent a half an hour (Could've been more, wasn't counting) looking around, staring at all the juicy details and sounds that played around the tiles. I loved what they did to breath more life (In the most loose sense of the word, because it's all about being dirty and dying on the job on Ceres, am I right?) into the level sets.

Can't wait for more remasters like these.

  6. I'd rather status (Over 100%) do something different than just to status more, because we already have status that is applied as really fast rates.

    Looking at you Grakata... >_>

This is also a bad idea for weapons that only need to status a single time to get the best out of it, like Magnetic and Viral, they would be left in the dust by other damage types whos proc is more useful for quick application of status. (Corrosive, Slash, etc)

Iron skin doesn't protect the operative, which is the problem here

You basically have to use extreme cheese tactics or extreme luck to actually complete that sortie. If he walks into the gas chamber or any other environmental hazard, not even limbo will protect him.

Not really, I just stayed with him and revived when I had to.

    <_<  >_> Rhino Master Race.

Looks nice, but I don't have it. Is it from PA? I've never bought one.

    It's from Vaubans PA, yes.

I just needed a syandana to finish of my 'Prime' look, I did have the Misa Prime, but it didn't fit Rhino.

And then I saw the Citadella Prime...

    MmqStuy.jpg

It would fit him perfectly! :D

  9. I didn't even think this was going to be an issue, it was actually pretty cool when I rolled for this riven mod for the attica...

     8yHDlhq.jpg

I never really modded for criticals for this automatic bow anyways, so it was a win-win for me. But when, and only when, I get the red crit only buff from my smeeta kavat... this happens...

     u1V4HeM.png

I get no damage into the enemy. Just blue color damage numbers (This also happens with the Grineer, it's not shield damage.) It's just blue numbers that are negative)

I'm not sure how this works with other riven mods that subtract critical damage from other weapons, but that's what's happening to my Attica.

    Please look into this.

If you have a good advice please post it here.

Depends on what you were doing. Solo or Team.

Most likely solo, because in a team it's super easy. (I did it solo, only because I have terrible internet)

Behind something to take armor away, like ash's seeking shuriken or the augment for banshee I don't remember the name of.

I used Rhino and the Tigris Prime myself, seeing as I don't really like ash and weapons like the Grakata don't really strip armor away that quicky, I just ignored the armor altogether with slash procs.
