  1. makes sense that the rounds would become armor piercing (bypassing) and would finally give corpus equal consideration when modding because i imagine shields would behave differently?

Arh I remember the day when the mod Piercing Hit effect is Armor Piercing. Good old days.

  2. yes,i translated atleast part of the text on the first slide

it is "behkawm dehth" which is a phonetic spelling of "become death"

so therefore we can assert that atleast one of those things says "i have become death, destroyer of worlds"

in which case it could be a sort of grand tombstone

which means that teshin likely killed this "super death guy"

    Fallen Tennos?

  3. Guys I found some interesting stone carvings in the Conclave room.

What do they mean? Names on tombstone or Tenshin's GF lists?

Here's the Tennobet for anyone decide to decipher the messages.

Look at the inscription, somehow I translate it into this "ih a-m b-eh-k-aw-m d-ee-th" (I have become death?)

Here's another one, this time is "h-aw-n-oo/ee-r ih-n d-ee-th" (Honour in death?)

    This "h-aw-n-oo/ee-r-a-b-l d-ee-th" (Honourable death?)

*sorry for the poor graphic quality

  4. If you put all of warframes lore together you have about 400 pieces of a 1000 piece puzzle.

You can start to get an idea of what the picture is, but many parts won't join up with anything, and others seem to be entirely contradictory

Then you find another piece and realise that you had most of it upside down and that pieces you thought went together actually don't.

But hey, we put up with it because we want to know what the picture actually is, and after so much effort you want to see it actually done

Sound like Warframe start to become Dark Soul series :D

  5. So far, we've all been thinking "okay, so the Tenno Lotus was talking to was named Mirage" and that's been throwing a lot of things into question, because if she was named Mirage AND wore the Warframe Mirage then what does that say about our ability to switch frames? Was she completely bound to Mirage? Was she an original in Mirage?

But I recently had a revelation: Lotus never mentions Mirage's name, not even once, until the very end of the quest. As the quote goes:

"Tenno, the last piece of her... of Mirage... has been recovered."

And listening to the quote via Youtube videos makes that pause even more clear. I think she was not saying "the part of her, of Mirage" but rather "the last part of her... no, of Mirage". She's having to correct herself, remind herself that the Warframe recovered isn't the Tenno, that the Tenno who'd been wearing the Mirage Warframe at the time is still very much gone.

So, what we have if a Warframe named Mirage but an unnamed, but still likely female, Tenno who'd been wearing the frame at the time, rather than a Tenno named Mirage that was wearing the Mirage frame. I think that somewhat resolves the naming issue.

What it doesn't resolve is the matter of Ordis seemingly calling Limbo Limbo as it were his name, but there is the first quote on the name:

    "A Limbo part blueprint!..."

And then another quote from later on:

"... this Limbo is telling us his story in pure math..."

Suggesting perhaps he was just one wearer of what was once many, and with that Ordis' later references to "Limbo" are all talking about the frame itself rather than the wearer, but it still feels a touch damaging to my theory. So, take this for what you may.

Maybe Ordis refers to the Limbo suit, maybe the suit itself has concious?

  6. But I still can't figure out what's the relationship between Sentient and Infested. We saw a (Infested's?)skull in the "Stolen Dreams" quest, we know that the Warframe suits maybe made of Infested tissue, we know that Tenno are survivors from the Void. So we can see the connection:

Sentients >>(seen in Stolen Dream that they are related)>> Infested  >>(used to make)>>  Warframe suit  >>(worn by to control or act as catalyst for abillity?)>>  Tenno  >>(super soldier used to counter )>> Sentient

    So here's my speculation:

According to the wiki, Infested was originally created by Orokin to combat Sentient. What if we misunderstood something (sorry Morec0 for your quote on my theory). Infested was created by Orokin but not the VIRUS itself, even the D.sector wiki state that the origin of the virus is not clear but somehow America was involved in the distribution of it. What if the American accidentally created a portal into the void and found the virus? We know that T-cyte virus is some kind of nanites based virus (plastids description) and someone just speculate that Sentients are silicon based organisms. Coincidence or Infested and Sentient have common origin? And the purpose of the creation of Infested to counter Sentient is because they are same! But the plan failed after the Infested prey on their own creator.

But hey it's only a theory, a ga-(*sensored copyright problem) theory!

  7. This is also entirely possible. Would also explain why the most powerful Cephalons we meet (Simaris, Suda) are subject to no one's will, though why they refer to themselves as "Cephalons" still is curious - though likely a result of the brainwashing.

Since Cephalon means head in Greek, maybe it's means the one control the Sentient suit, that glowing blue light we have seen in the TotS trailer?

  8. But here's another question, if the voice in the Derelict is really the voice of the Sentient, what does the skull means? Let us assumes that Sentients are robotic race/AI, the skull is from the Golem, is there any connection between Infested and Sentient?

    Fun fact:

Maybe the wood man in the Mayan creation myth is the Infested(both of them are midless), the Orokin harvest the virus from the void and use it to create bio weapons and the Maize man refer to the Tenno, powerful and surpass their own creator.
