  1. Just an FYI, the Council Challenge isn't always gonna be Survival, Grineer, even the same level range.

The level range always exists, but DE has us choose a faction, and then select a mission type from a list they give us, essentially forcing variation (which is good, IMO).

While I imagine Grineer will be the most popular, expect to see Corpus Spy missions or other such combos from time to time.

Personally, I wish we had the ability to choose modifiers like gravity and exploding enemies, but oh well.

Please do, the longer this goes on the more it seems that the problem is just going to be ignored, any help pinpointing the issue is time well spent, imo.

It's mentioned in some DE thread that they're looking into it; any information about it will probably be helpful to them in pinpointing the problem.

  3. Adding to this. Just rolled a Braton riven for about +115% multi, +110% electric, -46% status (equates to 72% status on a crit/status hybrid build so don't crucify me, but i digress).

Before this riven, I had +146% crit, +85% status. With this riven, only Intensify kept me dealing the expected damage, but around 150% strength removed what seemed to be all corrosive damage, but kept piling on slash procs like you would expect with 83% status chance on a Braton Prime. However, after choosing the riven I first mentioned, just Intensify activated the bug consistently.

To further the weirdness, even just Power Drift (+15% strength) removed corrosive as well with the new riven. I took a single rocket hit and hid behind a wall, Fury was somewhere around...300% or so, not maxed; corrosive worked fine. Stepped out at maxed Fury, corrosive stopped working. Same results with default power strength.

I think the bug is caused by a combination of status chance/multishot and power strength. I think that integer overflow (so much damage it goes negative) is irrelevant, because a Braton Prime obviously isn't going to hit the damage cap with just Vex Armor.

I'll do it if nobody else does, but somebody needs to run some tests on low/no status chance weapons, and watch for damage suddenly decreasing. I've noticed the bug is most consistent with high status weapons (i.e. doesn't activate with Radiation Euphona primary fire, but does with Rad/Viral 100% Euphona alt fire) like shotguns/Braton Prime/Galatine Prime, and has something to do with toxin damage (my Rad/Viral 100% Euphona alt fire lost the ability to proc Viral, and wasn't proccing just cold, indicating the entire combined elemental was removed). Is it possible that multishot (shotguns get a lot of it) has something to do with it as well?

i cant take into account other deities because its not something i believe in. i have my own religious creed that i must follow. that doesnt mean i will bash other people because they follow other religions, thats their free will to do so. best i can do is pray for them and hopefully they see the one true light one day.

It's still special pleading, and ergo, invalid. You have every right to be offended, but try looking from someone else's perspective, i.e. someone from an Asian religion, or a Norse background.

Also, proselyting on an online game forum is quite the interesting choice of venue.

As part of the music enthusiastic culture,

i want to express my dissatisfaction with this new bard warframe that has alleged abilities and appearance that mock the music making culture. I understand DE wants to make cool, new, and exciting warframes but this warframe crosses the line by having a "bard" like appearance and alleged powers such as composing music like Dio. Not to mention the mandacordr that is used by respected members of the music making hierarchy. Bards are well respected and shouldn't be represented by killing aliens and shooting guns. This specific warframe is different from a nezha or an oberon in which they are mythological creatures and not musical figures. Please take this warframe off the roster or re-create it in a way that doesnt make a mockery out of my culture. Thank You

    +1 for kekworthy copypasta.

You're the only true winner of this thread.

i wouldnt know what other religions believe or what they consider religious since i follow the apostles creed in my religion therefore i only see how this warframe makes a fool out of the religious figures i look up to

Which figure in particular? I had a priest at my high school that dressed in the classic robes (color/style depending on the event), and they honestly look very little like this frame's design. In any case, a simple Google search would have yielded the results.

Returning to what I originally said, wanting exemptions for your religion is special pleading, which invalidates your argument/claim.

Also, explain how this frame mocks your religion? If anything it pays homage to it.

being that im talking about religion in the world of the internet in which mostly atheists dwell im ready

It gets better. Mostly atheists on the internet? Considering that estimates range from 2% to 5% for both the U.S and world (obviously this varies from region to region), that is a frankly hilarious presumption, unless you believe that the internet is some sort of atheist club.

    Joke thread detection. I hope.

Google Nezha/Wukong. They are obviously deities. Isn't identifying religious figures in foreign cultures as "mythological creatures" just a tad bit presumptuous? I fail to see how anything but the number of adherents (which would make Islam number one, IIRC) makes any one religion more true than another.

  9. If we're getting Rivens for melee, Maiming Strike has to go.

That mod has made melee rather OP in certain regards, and more importantly given it an obnoxious spin meta.

That being said, I'm patiently waiting for a god-tier Dakra mod.

You are in the design council, go ask DE why if you aren't going to read the posts that already explained it.

Dude, DC is primarily used for naming frames at this point. It's very rare that we get to directly communicate with DE (i.e. back-and-forth conversation).

It was exciting when I first got invited, but now it's just a chat with some very funny people. Seriously, DC get's a little out of hand sometimes, in a good way.

Did "traps" call themselves traps? no? then its derogatory.
Just think about why its even called a "trap" and then still claim its not derogatory....

    Stop being stupid people pls.

In the rap/hip-hop genre of music, pop culture, or in media, do African-Americans call themselves or others the n-word? Yes? Then it's not derogatory.

By your logic, the above sentence is acceptable, along with the consequences it brings.

In any case, half the problem is that the word "trap" is censored only when applied to Nezha, and not in conjunction with any other frames, to the best of my knowledge. Special pleading is quite a contentious subject.

  14. Honestly, Kuva Fortress should have been a reliable place to fight high level Grineer. Eris for the Infested, and possibly Pluto for the Corpus (or a new area in the future).

Being able to jump into challenging content is a large reason of why I play sorties. Having to fight for a half hour to see even level 60+ is a bit of a bore.

Make "final" areas like the Fortress actual endgame stuff!

  15. I just rewatched the original video; if you look closely, his Kohm is dealing 0 damage before Vex Armor ramps up at all. In all my testing, my status/damage worked normally with the Strun Wraith/Braton Prime until I went above 150% power strength (if I had 150% strength but only built up 130% strength worth of buff, that could be interesting to test).

In my testing, weapons like the Galatine Prime were also affected by this, but not a primary fire Euphona Prime (very little status chance).

Looking at these factors, I think that status chance/elemental damage have  larger roles than we thought, compared to Vex Armor.. I also don't think that Rivens are relevant, with the exception of them raising status chance/giving elemental damage. I think toxin damage is also important, as my Strun Wraith, Braton Prime, and Galatine prime all lost the ability to proc Corrosive, but kept fire/slash procs.

Hopefully DE is looking into this.

Just saw Rebecca had replied. Derp.
