  1. Gaius turned to see the oncoming train heading his way. All he could do in the small time he had before collision was say, "Ohh shi-!" He tumbled with the Rhino, finding himself on top of her. He shook his head, trying to make sense of the situation until a hand moved by a rather intimate area. His mind quickly raced with what to say to avoid awkwardness of the whole situation, but then he heard the women under him speak. Her playful tone eased the tension, and his instincts kicked in to respond. "Well why waste time with dinner when you can skip to here?" he said in a playfully yet friendly manner. Then he heard the metallic clink. he knew full well who that person would be and immediately stood up straight, hands folded behind his back. He really hoped Souna hadn't heard what he said, fearing that she would misinterpret his words, or simply find those words distasteful.

"Oh, erm- Miss Souna, sorry you had to see me in such a state." Gaius said. His face was red with embarrassment, but luckily his helmet concealed the fact. He heard Souna's word and switched back to his more dignified poise and voice. "No need to worry Miss Souna, it was simply an unfortunate accident. However, you do have a point." Gaius turned to the Rhino, offering her a hand up. "Were it the battlefield and I an enemy, I would have said well done, but I am an ally, and this is a hospital. Best not to mix up the two." He was not condescending with his voice, but kind and fatherly. He was in no way angry about the ordeal, and he knew that the woman probably knew of this fact, but this to him served as a means of easing tension.

"True, the canteen here does leave a bit to be desired. Sometimes it's beneficial to... Skip~" Aegia grinned, glad that the Ash could at least roll with the punches, so to speak. And she was just about to respond when she heard the telltale metallic clink of another, behind her. She felt her new floormate getting off of her, but Aegia seemed content to stay on the floor for just a moment as her eyes trailed up the legs of this "Souna" all the way up to her helmeted face. She took Gaius's helping hand and used it to pull herself up, dusting herself off all the while the Zephyr spoke to her. Aegia however, wasn't exactly interested in listening to a lecture.

    -snep-

"If you can not control your warframe, you are ill-advised to wear it. We do not need any more injuries inflicted by the less... habile of us." Her voice is dismissive and cold. Looking down on the careless Rhino and her victim, she feels her pride cringe from what 'warriors' like the woman sprawled before her make people think of the Tenno. If she could, she would put her into detention right now, for the next ten or twenty years, until she is ready to bear the honor that comes with the name and powers of a Tenno. Sadly, this is not possible for her. What a pity.

Aegia rolled her eyes as she searched around the docking bay, only partially listening to the thinly veiled insult directed at her. "Yeah, yeah. Try being in this Warframe before you go waving assumptions around." Upon finding her missing Pyrana, she gave it a gentle pat, before clipping it to her thigh where it belonged. Aegia would turn and cross her arms across the chest of her frame, narrowing her eyes at the Zepyhr and giving one of her trademark grins. "You ever tried not being so formal? It'll do wonders for your back." Here Aegia was having such a nice time, helping out around the Waystation, looking for her lost weapon, and just about to make a new friend, when another one of those kinds of Tenno had to show up. The ones always prattling on about honor and whatnot, always looking down upon her, just because she wasn't serious all the time. It wasn't as if a single Tenno could bring down her mood however. Aegia shifted her hands from her chest to one resting on her hip and the other resting by her side. She kept a smile on her face as she paced around the proper Tenno in the docking bay, now looking down upon her, albeit only by a few inches. "Save the attitude for the enemy, it's quite safe here."

  2. Character IMAGE time:

Post a pic of something you can see your OC in. Be it a pose, clothing, whatever. And if you can, post a pic of a person who resembles your character, or the person you may have based their appearance on.

Honestly, I never really thought about who Aegia might resemble, but after doing some serious brainstorming. She most resembles a female Beowulf from Skullgirls, hell she'd probably wear something like this too. Plus, if you ever spar with Aegia, she'll definitely wrestle.

    tumblr_ntdnlhlqPj1qf4eupo1_500.png

No seriously, if you really ever need to picture Aegia, just look at that pic and imagine the top and bottoms are now skintight, and underneath a Rhino frame.

    Tadaaaaa

  3. Gaius looked around the scene. People had started to clear out, and he felt as though he had done what he could, so Gaius decided to try and make himself useful in the Med-Bay. Rollo had taught him a lot about healing and how to treat wounded, plus the texts he read had proven useful in the field so they should be useful here. He maneuvered his way past the dwindling crowd and toward the medical bay, in which awaited an unpleasant surprise. But not before finding himself in the unfortunate position of a charging Rhino.

Of course, it's not as if Aegia wanted to be running straight into Gaius. It was simply the unfortunate path that both he and she happened to be on, and being a Rhino user, there was no easy way for her change directions mid-charge. Of course, she knew this, and her eyes widened, trying to do her best to skid to a halt, to little avail.

    "H-Hey look out! Incoming!!"

At least she tried to give a warning before she collided full sprint into the unlucky Ash, sending them both tumbling together in a heap along the floor of the docking bay, in a tangled mess of limbs locked around each other. The initial pain subsided rather quickly, at least for the scatter-brained Rhino. She blinked the stars out of her eyes and looked around, met face to face with the hapless Ash she'd run into. She gave a cheeky grin and pulled her hand free of... Wherever it had been before, laying her head upon her palm. "Well I mean... At least buy me dinner first before you pin me down~" She teased, giggling softly. She hoped he wasn't one of those Tenno on whom the concept of lightheartedness was lost upon. She tilted her head as she looked up at him.

  4. The Equinox was busy waiting. Waiting and re-reading the briefing on the datapad she'd been given. She perked up however once she had heard the Cephalon's voice begin to amplify itself. She collapsed the pad and stowed it away as she began to listen intently. In her head, she'd already accepted, and she was running through what exactly the situations would be like, almost as if running a small simulation. She wasn't of course, that would be silly. No one could accurately do that and take into account all variables.

"Hex? Please send a formal acceptance to Bear's Cephalon, just to keep it on record."

    "Of course, Operator.... Sent."

Now that she at least had it in writing, she could happily volunteer for such a mission... Which she did, with gusto, standing up from her kneeling position, Equinox robes flowing gracefully down into position as she did so. Her voice was soft, measured, but nonetheless was projected so that Bear could clearly hear it. "I volunteer. Gladly." Her hands stayed clasped in front of her chest, in typical Equnox fashion, representing the duality within. "While I may not look much, compared to you, I would be of great assistance on this mission, in my own way."

  5. CHARACTER QUESTION TIME!!!

They lie knelt on a pristine white floor, an unseen light blinding their vision. They no not where they are, nor the clouded figure that held the golden gun to their head. Seconds tick by on an unseen clock, the air only disturbed by their last few breaths. Words are spoken, too suddenly to catch the accent, too suddenly to catch expression. Only the offer had fallen upon their ears.

    What are their last words?

Hm, I'd never really thought about what Aegia would say in such a situation. I'm quite certain she'd just be smiling the whole time, and finally say. "This is a shame, and here I thought we could have been such good friends!"

  6. I did not intend to be hostile. I really enjoy this, and you make some good points! I did not think of that the stalker-armor might've been the uniform of the low guardians as well. I will remember that.

And at the ceremony, yes he was present in generla. Though, he says he watched "from a distance". I always imagined that he was on the outskirts, not invited onto the ceremonial grounds themselves. Although, as I read it again in the forums, there is no clear indication to that, it was just my interpetation.

I thought of he and the other Low Guardians as being somewhat like security during that ceremony, so it would make sense for them to be there, but not be taking part in the ceremonies themselves. It would also explain why he was watching from afar, as the High Guardians would have been tasked with more important positions to guard, putting them closer to the Orokin.
  7. As I see it, there were a lot of low guardians (and high guardians too, ofc). So, he basically was noone important, since he was not formally present (Not invited) at the ceremony mentioned in his codex.

So, why would Souna know of someone who had nothing to do with the tower where she was stationed, and had no important role whatsoever? The name of 'Stalker' and the cult around him only emerged after the Orokin fell, at least that's how I see it. If you see a problem with that, do tell please. I like people who question things, it helps me improve my characters!

No need for hostility. I'm not saying she knows HIM specifically I'm saying she would know of him and his kind, the Low Guardians. I'm basically working off of the assumption that all the Low Guardians looked similar, i.e. wore the same armor. I can only assume it looked similar to the Stalker's armor we're so familiar with.

Surely Souna would have seen/interacted with a Low Guardian at some point during her time in the Orokin Era. If anything, it would paint her reaction to Krenn a bit differently. As I see it, why would a Low Guardian still exist now? With the Stalker being an exception of course.

Also, the Stalker WAS present at the ceremony, or else he wouldn't have a firsthand account of it

  8. Souna has a somewhat... distanced opinion of the stalker, with a little bit of respect but not a single drop of attachment (positive or negative). Maybe this is gonna change in the course of RP. However, I got a few ideas what she could say if the situation Aegia and Gaius resolves. :>

Oh? How so? Right now I don't wanna post anymore til Hades can get back to me ^^
  9. Wright was busy.

Busy waiting that was. Communications with her Cephalon were a bit patchy, most likely having sustained damage during entry or from a stray Corpus laser blast. It wasn't always easy being what seemed to be the only Tenno in the Origin System that didn't want to freely slaughter without remorse. Sure, it wasn't as if she was being thanked by any of her enemies for sparing their lives, and yes, they did see her as yet another Tenno to be eradicated. But it was her principle she'd sworn to uphold. Or at least try to uphold. There was the other part... The Equinox shook her head as if to dispel the thought. It wouldn't do her any good to get distracted thinking, lest she and her ally be ambushed. Speaking of her ally.

Wright turned to the Saryn she was with, examining her from afar. She'd never met her before, nor even spoke to her outside of the question she'd asked before. Though, Wright preferred to stay quiet, honestly. She never really liked explaining why she didn't kill, whenever the topic came up.

    And it always came up.

    -snip-

A familiar voice sounded into his helmet, "Operator, I have received some information that may interest you. Shall I inform the others to meet you in the Observatory as usual?" Bear replied with an inquisitive tone, "Interest me, eh? Sure. Tell me when they dock back in the dojo. I'm going to go hit the showers." Bear knew this must be good if his Cephalon, Vorpus, thought it necessary to gather everyone before telling him.

Finally able to get through to her Cephalon, she was pleasantly surprised to find that it had already been tracking her coordinates and making adjustments to arrive within its approximate estimate of when she would finish her mission. She could always count on Hex to be reliable at least. She noted that it had also included her next destination as well, a dojo she was familiar with, the Observatory within, for some reason. Before Wright left, she made sure to quickly grab a copy of the data they had retrieved from this mission; she would delight in sifting through it later. Most likely whilst on her way to the dojo her Cephalon had set a course towards.

"Ah... Right, Hex, send a message to the Cephalon you received those coordinates from. Tell them I'll be arriving shortly. At least, I will be when you arrive."

    "I have arrived, Operator."

Glancing to her left, she saw indeed, that her Liset had docked and rotated the drop pod around for her to get in at her leisure. "Oh. Right. Thank you, Hex."

"It is always a pleasure, Operator."

With nothing left to say to her comrades, she quickly boarded her ship, the pod rotating back around and laving her alone in her Liset. She only knew it had taken off thanks to a slight vibration through the metal. Wright's helmet segmented and began to fold in on itself, down into the collar of her Warframe, leaving her hair free to cascade down. She took a deep breath and sighed as she began uploading the data she'd recovered into her own personal codex. "Hex, please organize the data I've recovered at your leisure."

"With pleasure, Operator. Please relax as I pilot the Orbiter to our coordinates."

Wright knelt down in front of her numerous holographic codex readouts and began tinkering with the scanner she'd broken, hopefully she'd have it fixed by the time she arrived.

  10. Gaius was incredibly confused by the style given the situation, but as he looked back at Souna the music seemed to overtake the noise from all the commotion. 'I swear, the second I see Milton I am punching him in the throat.' Gaius though to himself. As he came back to his senses, Gaius decided to make himself useful. He moved to the ships and began to help out whoever he could, whether it being to help put people on stretchers or unload some of the ships. He took care to keep an eye out for any of his clan mates, but had yet to spot any of them.

Finally, the blood had come off.

The female Rhino sighed with relief, she wasn't too keen on scarlet accents to her suit, at least not yet. She had tuned out the various chaotic hustle and bustle of the medbay, leaving herself alone with her thoughts and the tunes of the PA System. She didn't possess any medical knowledge, so she was rather useless here, save for her being a glorified stretcher. Aegia tossed the bloody rag into the biohazardous waste bin nearby, before resting her hand on her hip, and summarily, her handheld shotgun.

    If it were there.

Her hand shot to her other hip to try and find it. Yet again, her hand grasped at empty space.

'Ohhhh come on come on where is it? That Pyrana was a gift!' She panicked mentally, glancing around the medbay frantically. She didn't see the telltale glint of the polished steel she'd come to know. One might scold her for being worried about personal belongings when there were so many wounded to attend to.

The scatterbrained Rhino started running, heavy, powerful footfalls against metal, echoing through the halls of the waystation as she sprinted along. Thud thud thud thud thud. She was making a beeline towards the docking bay, that being the last place she'd touched her Pyrana.

Thud thud thud thud thud, slide, the sound of metal sliding against metal, thud thud thud thud thud. Many smart individuals made sure to get out of the way of the charging Rhino lady, lest they be bowled over rather forcefully. That is to say nothing of any persons that were unaware of her rapid approach.

Say, for example, a rather helpful looking Ash...

  11. Wright was having a rough day.

When she had been dropped into this mission, she had ended up landing wrong and smashing her codex scanner, leaving her woefully unprepared for any on the fly researching. That, and there weren't even any consoles on the way to their objective for her to hack into and get any information out of. She guessed she would simply have to get a copy of what they had extracted from the datamass. She weaved in and out of the innumerable crowds of Corpus and their walkers, delivering solid, painful blows. Mostly to the head region, or whatever controlled the walkers. A single swift strike was all it took from Wright for one of the Corpus soldiers to be knocked clean unconscious. Or, if she had somehow missed, well... The Corpus had their credits to pay for the mending of broken limbs, right? It made her feel better to think that they did.

Of course, she didn't mind her comrades taking a more... Lethal approach to their mission. Wright wasn't about to try and stop them. Why would she? It pleased her enough that she was able to carry out her objectives her way, and that was what mattered. Still, she frowned as she stepped over the rapidly decaying bodies of the Corpus left behind by her venomous ally. 'Was it really necessary to make them suffer in their last moments?' she wondered to herself as she came to a stop with her squadmates, her Bo sliding in on itself and shortening as she placed it on her thigh, watching the Saryn access a panel nearby.

"Anything interesting in there?" She asked as she bent down to pick up a nearby Dera, unloading the energy cell it used as its power source and tossing it aside, along with the weapon itself.

  12. -slice-

In Aegia's case, she would receive another break from the rudeness aboard the station as she ran into Milton; a young Corpus in his early 300's who was a volunteer from Perrin Sequence. Despite the chaos, he remained calm and polite, quickly leading her through the crowd and to the med bay and apologizing to the Tenno with a respectful bow before quickly jogging back into the crowd to continue assisting the others.

In short, I'm not Rping an individual, faceless volunteer to direct all of you. Simply go where you want and say a volunteer helped.

    ______________________________

Currently, the med bay was a scene of controlled chaos. Tenno, Corpus, and Human worked comfortably and efficiently together, directing patients to medical pods on the back wall's conveyor belt and quickly, but not sloppily, operating on the more critically wounded patients on the operating tables with curtains drawn. Volunteers quickly darted in and out of the med station, quick to stay out of the way of the medical professionals as even a second's distraction could cost a life.

Nisha's echo was there, rushing between beds and the pod conveyor, doing whatever the doctors and nurses asked of her. Fetch this, get so-and-so, do this, change that, push this, enter that, etc., etc.

Probably the most eye-catching person there was an older Corpus man sitting in a chair in the corner of the room surrounded by holographic interfaces, the pale blue light from his screens illuminating the sweat on his brow as his hands darted from screen to screen. He was the head surgeon, Alad Tessitura. His fingers danced across the displays, eyes always moving as he delicately directed his miniature medical Ospreys. He was performing four surgeries at once, quickly finishing one as his aids moved the current patient and prepared for the next.

It was as if he was the maestro of an orchestra, directing his instruments in a careful but fast paced melody of healing that. Death himself had stepped into the bay, but sitting in a chair across the room was an angel of healing who wiped Death's mark clean from his victims with one hand as he armed the other, engaging in combat against the reaper himself on behalf of the injured. These souls were not his to take, but for them to keep, and Tessitura would sooner loose his own then surrender his patients.

It made the Rhino happy that even in times of extreme distress like this one, there were still some that could keep a calm attitude, and even smile during. The pleasant Corpus that led her to the med bay was one such individual.  She happily followed him, Krenn and Sebastian slung over her shoulders. Of course, she didn't know who they were, or what had happened that landed them in such a situation. Only that they needed assistance, and she was happy to help. Entering the medbay, she glanced around for a moment, before a volunteer came along and directed her to where exactly she could drop off her... Cargo. And soon, she was without Tenno upon her shoulders. Though she did stick around for a while, looking for something to wipe the blood off of her armor before it set in.

It was always such a pain to get off if it wasn't done immediately.

On the bright side, she was finally able to move the offending strands of hair away from her face, pinning them behind her ear as she wet the cloth and prepared to wipe off the last of Sebastian's blood from her suit. Though part of her wondered if it wasn't a moot point, seeing as if she had to transport more wounded from the ships, they'd just bleed on her too, or worse. She shuddered at the thought.

  13. -snibbidy snab-

Also..." Sebastian then collapsed on the floor, with a pool of blood forming around him. His body finally gave out and shut down so that it could heal with ease, though immediate medical attention would be needed. Its a miracle he hadn't collapsed earlier given his state.

Aegia glanced over after hearing another flopping, thudding sound on the floor. Apparently Tenno were raining from the sky or something. Of course, she knew they were coming from the ships, it just made her giggle to think of them smacking face first into the ground after dropping from the rafters for some reason. Aegia sighed and stood up, grabbing both of the Tenno laying on the ground and hefting them over either of her shoulders. "Alright, I don't know where the medical rooms are, but somebody will surely stop me when they see me carrying these two." She watched a bit of blood that wasn't her own trickle down her armor.

    Aegia sighed.

It was gonna be a long cycle.

But at least she got to help somehow. She was curious as to how they even got to be this chewed up in the first place, it reminded her of that Steel Meridian woman from earlier. She grunted slightly as she adjusted the two on her shoulders. She spoke silently to herself, trying to make light of the situation at hand. "...Yes hello I'd like to purchase these two. I figure used is a bit cheaper. No, I don't want the extra syandana or air freshener." Maybe these two Tenno would be a lot more open to conversation than the Volt was... After they get treatment that is. She blew a strand of her hair out of her eyes, huffing as it slid back into the same place.

  14. When other ships came into hangar, he stayed in his place and calmly agreed with her.

"I was trying to get out of this place as soon as possible, but I guess I'll be staying here longer than I thought..."

    He sighed dissapointed.

"I don't even know, maybe we should get out of everyone's sight in here, before "that guy" shows up again."

"Well, we don't have anything else better to do. And I certainly don't want to get in the way of trained professionals, how about.. We..." She trailed off a bit as she watched another... Tenno? Fly through the air after what she assumed was being tossed out of one of the battered ships. "Perhaps we should go now. But..." She sauntered over to the Tenno now laying on that floor of the hangar, crouching down next to them as her helmet segmented itself and receded into the collar of her suit. She had a single eyebrow raised.

    "Need a hand?"
