  1. I don't remember there being as much difficulty getting lenses before the Plains. Now they are only found as rewards for Plains Bounties? Aside from a mountain of Naramon lenses I will obviously never use (thanks for that), I never see the things.

How about another source outside of trading or buying for Platinum?

If you are that paranoid why not make a secondary google account and do the survey from that?

It's great that you are allowed to slander and call names so long as you target someone who dared offered a criticism or concern.

    Keep your bait.

The far more obvious issue is why they need a Google account, rather than a forum poll.

  3. I'm going to call BS on posts claiming dozens of ALUs scored with each run. Itzal does not make these things fall from the sky, or from space, as it were. Itzal is nice because he can park next to a satellite and turn invisible, use Cosmic Crush to kill enemies and maintain energy levels.

But claiming you get 20-30 ALUs on every run because you have Itzal is a steaming load.

I have just as much if not more luck with another Archwing and melee attacks that pull me into enemies and ensure I get the drops.

The only other possibility is that DE Nerfed the drop rate.

  4. No, you can't.

You can use Fast Travel to return to the Simaris chamber, but then you have to run around looking for the correct testing console. Over and over and over. Didn't Steve use that phrase, "Over and over and over" to imply a distaste for grind when advancing the new Fissure and Relic system? There is nothing immediate, instantaneous, or easy about this change.

Let's just call it a UI Nerf, because that is what it is. It's meant to make a particular part of the game more tiresome and frustrating.

I urge DE to do what they should have done with Simulor, Telos Boltace, and even Ash. Just remove Mastery Rank practice from the game if you don't want people doing it. Don't waste time or insult our intelligence with Nerfs and new grind.

Either remove Mastery Rank practice from the game or put things back the way they were.

I found the Neptune mission to be the way to go, as you've got
loads of enemies coming at you non-stop there during the defense parts.

With a decent, full Squad, and myself spamming (Fluctus and)
Itzal's Greedy Pull Cosmic Crush, I've left with 20-30 ALUs easily each time.

    Is this an exaggeration?

I'm using Cosmic Crush, and I might get five.

Maybe there is a special mod that makes Cosmic Crush work better, or maybe DE fixed it so Cosmic Crush would not affect the Cryptographic ALUs?

If I switch to another archwing, I'll get more than I can with Itzal.

  6. Trolls were able to take advantage of the game's inability to handle host migration at other points, as it turns out. A troll host was able to take a squad through most of a Plague Star mission, then quit the squad before the final Hemocyte was killed. This wiped out all squad earnings made before the new host is established.

I often feel the developers regard trolling as a funny side-gag or running joke that needs to remain an integral part of the game. Just look at the design of Limbo. There's a frame designed from the ground up as a troll.

  7. The outdoor overlay map should not pop up when exiting a cave, even if we were navigating the cave with an overlay map. Map use should reset to thumbnail view when entering or exiting caves. Would not be so annoying were the exterior map not as visually dominating, but it is, so a reset is appropriate and conducive to immersion.

    Clear enough?

  8. Host migration trolling has been a thing for years now, hasn't it?

The new thing is to break the Plague Star event by rushing to the first objective, securing the toxin, then quitting the squad. When the host does this, the resultant host migration breaks the mission. Then we have players who realize the mission is broken leaving, only to be replaced by players who don't realize the mission is broken joining and wasting untold time before realizing something is wrong.

Seriously. People suck. Plan for it.

Maybe look at taking away these losers' toys before it is too late?
