  1. I think that this would work for (some) guns, but would probably require you to run without a melee. However the 0 ammo cost would essentially erase any need for melee, which can be seen as either a positive or negative.

For this to work while keeping melee weapons relevant it would

    A) Need to be comparably weaker than melee weapons and

    B) Need flashy animations like melee stances that encourage people to use their sidearm in this manor. DmC style combos, but without the verticality. Juggles are great in games that have enemies with health pools that take a bit to deplete but warframe is too fast paced for that. Gun Fu would be a welcome addition imho.

  2. I don't understand why they chose to name a specific date for nezha on console, unless they know that they have a patch/update scheduled that particular date for other content.

Fingers crossed for Saryn P. I know they havn't launched a Trin P. ending announcement or a teaser for Saryn yet, but I can't think of a single time they have ever put a specific day on the calendar for something on consoles and the only assets they've always launched simultaneously on all platforms is prime access so it seems pretty viable

30% risk of death guaranteed! Lol

I received Gear VR for my birthday and thus far am pretty impressed with the overall experience. Granted it is in no way built for hardcore gaming, but very enjoyable. My next VR purchase will be the PS VR headset when it arrrives, hoping for a wholey better experience with more immersion, also hoping all games have controller support and don't require move to play.

  4. Unlikely now that we've missed the mark due to U18 overtime - but fear not, there are always more goodies around the corner.

This is very disappointing. I thought we were beyond this kind of stuff. Why should we be excluded? It's only been a week since christmas, and it's still winter. Please share the holiday cheer with us. No excuse
  5. This thread is dead, there's nothing being contributed to the thread other than more opinions. Personally I think the skill is fine. Like I said before this has in no way evolved into a meta for gameplay and for good reason, it's not viable for all endgame content except in very specific scenarios (like solo t4s).

  6. Honestly I think both Banshee and Mesa need edits to their 4. It was ok for Mesa to be stationary when she could cover her ! from any direction but now she is at a major disadvantage being stuck in one place and her ultimate is still only useful in endless missions, particularly defense. If she was given the ability to move like Ivara in prowl or Atlas in petrify that would give her enough mobility to survive but no so much that she's essentially aim bot excalibur.

As for Banshee I almost never use her 4th because she's just too squishy and a stray bullet or rocket comes out of nowhere and drops me like a hat. Now don't get me wrong, it's not for lack of experience. I main Banshee, and I do well with her. But her fourth just feels weak compared to the cc/stealth capabilities with silence and her dmg amplifier with sonar. She needs her 4 to synergize with sonar/silence. For example if enemies are affected by silence in an alerted state, using her 4 causes them to be rag dolled by the force of the sonic boom hitting their body (going from complete silence to a glass shattering sonic blast). And I feel her 4 would scale better dmg wise if it's dmg ticks always hit sonar points.

  7. Look, the fact that you stated that there are three kinds of guys in the game means two of them are most likely abusing it. Naramon's Shadow Step is already making Warframe's difficulty easier than it already is. Referring to self-implied challenges DOESN'T FIX ANYTHING.

This became a flame war since page 1, even if I never wanted it to be like that.

Contrary to your belief, this game isn't always about what's fair or the most balanced. This thread is evidence that what is "balanced in your opinion" isnt necessarily popular with everyone. Personally I havn't used Naramon yet but this whole thread was started because YOU don't like something about the game and think that, despite you being the minority here, it should be changed to something more favorable to you. That's not how life works pal, sorry to break it to you.

Also this has (atleast in my travels), in no way, evolved into a meta, so it's far from standard practice.

  8. Quite honestly this change should never have been translated to console because all PS4'PS4'S have the same graphic capabilities. PC just needs to have a client side toggle for seeing allies weapon effects on their copies.

  9. While QoL improvements are great, this is low low down on the list. It's an optional, late-game, toggleable passive for a skill. It's a choice, some people like cheese, some like greedy milk, and others like a challenge. If this skill offends your play style so much then simply stop using it. Atleast it's not one of the many game breaking bugs that prevent you from even launching the game...

Thread needs locked not because you can counter everyone's arguments but because you're turning it into a flame war over something stupid

  10. This thread just needs to be locked. Utter silliness. Your claim is that this let's people cheese missions but for what purpose? By the time anyone is able to farm this skill to this potential they've likely already mastered basic mission endurance and can easily farm any mission to rotation c, so all roads are already open to them. No one is going to set any records with this method so there is no incentive to go this route other than to have fun. Stop trying to kill the fun, no body likes a party pooper.

Personally I think energy overflow has more game breaking potential. Atm I have energy overflow maxed and mastery maxed. After 2 and half minutes I can pop void pulse and now I'm reaping almost 7 times more energy than an energy siphon for the entire mission and can now spam skills to my hearts content provided the skill isn't a toggle but for most frames that removes the need for efficiency mods (I only use streamline now) and flow because unless your constantly using your powers you'll never really run out and if you do... wait a trivial amount of time and proceed

Honestly I like where these passives are, they feel like end game content that isn't completely trivial and useless like in most rpgs where you work hundreds of hours to get that suit of armor that raises your attack just 1 more percent. This on the other had feels like a moderate amount of work for a decent pay off.

  11. The issue is that the difficulty doesn't change when there are fewer people in some missions. I am not saying that they shouldn't be allowed to leave, as they could have something serious to attend to etc but it is very annoying. If DE introduced deserting your team into survivals I would hope that they would make the difficulty scale accordingly.

The problem that then arises is that solo players who want to tackle the game on full difficulty may have the game scaled down for single player gameplay. The solution to this could be to allow difficulty settings in solo mode play.

Other than these two issues I think that adding the deserter mechanic to survivals would be a good idea.

Borderlands already implemented this concept with added effect. If Allies join your game a notification informs you that enemies will become tougher but rewards will be greater. Granted that all loot is shared in borderlands this balances out, so the loot increase isn't really suited for warframe, but when a team member leaves you should receive a notification saying enemy levels have decreased.
  12. They have yet to announce that Trinity Prime Access is ending. They will do that when Trinity has 7 days left to go.

Following its expiration there will be a teaser trailer for Saryn Prime, and seven days after that will be her release.

That means there's a minimum of 14 days before Saryn Prime is released, so that already punches a hole in your timeline.

true, there usually is a window for last chance. I really was just stating that the persons calculation of the time frame was off because he miscounted the 90 days. By his estimation and with the last chance window we would have been looking at early February
  13. I would say 20th or 27th is more likely. 13th is too early, then the Trin P access would only run for 84days.

super nekros sorry, but your math is waaaay off. Trinity P launched Oct 6th. By your math 90 days would be the 19th but if you look at a calendar, Jan 19th would be 105 days. Jan 4th would be exactly 90 days and that coincides with the end date for the winter platinum sale on PS4 so that's the day I'm looking to for Saryn P's release.

Again sorry for the nekro but I'm going mad waiting for her and had to share thoughts

  14. There has literally has been multiple threads proving the stalker is now using Umbra's body and I showed you a link showing he has the same accessories as well.

what he's trying to say is not that he has the same accessories as umbra but the same body model (arm and back crescents and loincloth). Stalker is definitely using the umbra body model so u can bet your booty the acquisition of umbra excal is going to involve the stalker in some manner. Hopefully well finally get a stalker alt helm, then can create both stalker and shadow stalker
  15. These ideas are great but they borderline on mass effect. I prefer that the orbiter remain a space of pure function and utility, sure it would be nice if you had a room that displayed all your current frames but I would want it to also allow you to interact with them (modding them and customizing). As for couches and furniture I'd prefer that kind of stuff be added to social areas like dojo and relays, because who's going to just sit around in their ship alone staring at the wall? Having little touches like your active companion roaming around would be nice but would ultimately interfere with the way the orbiter's consoles are designed, so that would need to see a makeover first

  16. This has been a great year for the development of Warframe and it's community. Really enjoy all you guys do

My one wish isn't very specific but broad. I wish to see the game continue to develope and grow in new and exciting ways. Further variety in waframes, weapons, cosmetics, game modes, quests. You name it I wish it. I'm sure my wish is going to come true one way or another but I just need to express my continued support and love for this game. Keep it up DE!

  17. I'm fond of these ideas. Atm I have zenurik and all I use it for is energy overflow in long missions. Giving them more functionality as an actual offense is a great idea

As far as what you suggested for zenurik, I think perhaps that instead the skill could have the timer and a number of charges tied to it. So at level 1 you have 5 charges and 20 seconds. You can use charges at your leisure with no restrictions but when use all five the skill ends, and vice versa if you don't use all the charges by 20 seconds you lose them. That way if u spend 10 seconds with no enemies around but then get slammed by a group you'll still have all charges available to incapacitate them with. Obviously charges can be activated with fire button.
