  1. Since the new war added necramechs as a rewuirement, even more new players will start farming them. And while i like the concept of each part dropping randomly after defeating a mech in an isolation vault, chance isnt always kind. So, to spare a small percentage of players a huge amount of frustration, my solution would be a pity system: -After not getting a new, never before on this account collected part, 16 times, a new drop is guaranteed. Voidrig and Bonewidow would have seperate pittys. If you are not accossiated with the dev team, i still encourage you to comment on this to share your takes! This idea originated in my open letter to DE
  2. The little diamond around an ore that is even visible through walls is a really good toll/indicator that streamlines mining massively, but sometimes it can be pretty hard to see this indicator, which often results in players only looking at the map, rather than thier surroundings. My solution to this problem is twofold: -First, add the option to change the color of the diamond indicator to any unlocked color in the accessebility menu -Second, add a slider (probably also in the accessebility options?), to keep the diamond visible while aming the drill If you are not accossiated with the dev team, i still encourage you to comment on this to share your takes! 3. Hey DE. I really love Warframe. I enjoy its grindy nature, and I spend almost 600 hours in it and enjoyed most of them. But i also think this game still has a long way to go before it can be enjoyed be even more people. Over the last months, i collected this list of ideas, features, and changes that i think would fit the game in its current state nicely. I hope you consider adding most of these changes. But if you do not, an explenation as to why would be absolutely amazing. (Also, all of these changes are relevant to the warframe side of the game. I have yet to play the Duviri Paradox.) Accessibility: -Add an option to change the color of the drill markers. Give the player the option to do this individually for every open world. This would aid the people who are colour blind or who just have poor vision. -Add the option to read up on some features since not all of them can be explained in dailouge. This also ensures that newer players know these features exist, without having to binge the wiki. My ideas include; -Rivens -Nechramechs (and isolation vaults) -The Arch weapon deployer -The Kavat incubator segment -Kuva liches (and how to gain the special mods needed to kill them) -The fact that many weapon blueprints can be bought at the market with only credits, -And probably more… -Give players the option to view what dojo room is their spawn room (since it determines the build/deconstruction order of rooms) Streamlining progression: -Give the player a few requiem relics once they unlock kuva liches or once they create their first lich. (This would greatly increase the chance that newer, casual players actually finish thier first lich and motivate them to continue to fight them.) -Add a pitty system to the isolation vaults / nechramech parts (maybe “once you got 20 parts you already have you are guaranteed to get a new one.) (This would cut down on the grind of getting a nechramech since it is requiered for later content, while still encouraging players to buy the missing parts.) -Add a grading system to all weapons. (Maybe something like “sub-par” “average” and “relieable”.) (Since most players do not have the time or expertise to read through a weapons stats and understand them, this would clearly communicate which weapons the player is able to use and which ones are just mastery fodder (if they don’t have a riven for them). These gradings are just supposed to be broad, inaccurate categorys. But listening to the community for weapons you are unsure of would probably be a good idea. Also, this could either be done with the weapons endgame viability in mind, or its viability compared to other weapons unlocks at the same Mastery Rank.) -Cut the oxium cost of Auxorium Alloys by 5-15%. (Oxium is one of the recources with more specific spawn points (namely oxium drones on certain corpus controlled planets that may or may not spawn. Having this recource as a requirement for an ore that has no association with the corpus and is unlockable very early into a players progression just doesn't fit.) -Add a pitty system to relics. (A rather radical change, I know, since relics are one of the largest and most accessible time sinks in Warframe, but i believe that this is the exact reason to tip tha scales for the few, very unlucky players.) (It could work like this: opening any relic and not getting a gold drop adds 1 to your pitty counter, opening a radiant relic adds 4. Once the pitty counter reaches 80 (equal to 20 radiant relics) the player is guaranteed a gold drop. If the player ever rolls a gold drop on their own relics, even if they don’t pick it, or if they collect one from another players relic, the pitty gets reset to 0. This would guarante that very unlucky players dont get frustrated, while not really changing anything for the vast majority of players.) QoL: -Add an actual kill counter to the fortuna bounty stages that don’t have one (e.g. "kill all drones") -Add an option to keep the diamond indicator around ores visible while zooming in and not mining -Add tips on where to find the harder / more rare scans after the player has completed 90% of an area where they can spawn in -Remove the forma cost for building basic, small hallways, Ts and crosses in the dojo. (This would greatly motivate casual players to put more work into their dojo, wich would possibly get them interested in decorating it.) (-Give the mining drills on cetus a reason to exist.) -And an option to the current dojo spawn room to change the orientation of the skybox. -Turn “context action includes reload” of by default for new players using a keyboard. (I don't know if this change would make sense on a controller, so im not including them.) -Add small explenatory texts that make the player aware of QoL features. -Add a small text to the window displaying all mods and the inventory saying “press secondary fire to select stack/all”. -Add the y button to the “auto install” promt of ayatan treasures and to the “use cipher” promt while hacking. -Add extra text to the “leave squad” button on open worlds saying “(keep items)”. -Add more voice lines to ordis to make him less repettative and stale. (Yes, i catually enjos Ordis' banter. But by now i can almost predict what he is going to say.) -Add a timer to invasions in the screen where you select your side (and maybe also on thier top right tab on the star chart). -Add kurias/Curiositys to the “universe” tab In the codex. -Add an option to change the layering of different events on a node (e.g. kuva flood, invasion, nightmare) (and to change it back to the original sequence!!!) -Add a junction between mars and deimos or add an extra requirement to enter the cambion drift/necralisc (to avoid players feeling overwhelmed in this rather dangerous area). -Make main story quests visually distinct from side quests. -Make the description to the quest “natah” much more clear by adding two extra half sentences like “...origin system and especially in the greneer labs of uranus. Scan them to help…” -Make the spawn chance of the drones need to start the natah quest accumulate even faster when successfully completing missions on Uranus. (This quest really is a strange road block right now.) Engaging the player: -Make fishing more engaging by adding a leaderboard on open world hubs, the clan and the orbiter/menu. On which you can compare your biggest fish of of the month/ all time (of any species you select), either with friends or all players -Add new bounty stages to fortuna or replace old ones. (We currently have at least three “kill enemies” type of stages. Cetus and Deimos are much more creative with thier selection, and therefore draw more players in.) -Reward the player for scanning stuff. (maybe some (not useless) items every 10 completed codex entry's, with some greater milestones that reward more rare stuff.) This would absolutely engage players into this system, even if they don't have the gotta catch them all mentality of the old pokemon games.) -Give the archguns a small damage boost when they are used through the arch gun deployer. (But only on non-assassination, non-free roam nodes. This way they become much more viable but you guys don’t have to worry about their balancing in key situations. like boss fights any more than you do right now.) The one that is probably to much to ask: I am begging you to future-proof this amazing game! As far as I can tell, you are still going strong and won’t drop Warframe anytime soon (seeing as it still makes you a lot of money ;) ). But I am begging you to consider the games future in twenty, maybe thirty years. What if DE ever goes bankrupt? What if the games just isn't profitable enough anymore? It would be absolutely amazing if you had a backup plan in mind for a time in which you might won’t be able to provide the game with servers, so that your fanbase can still enjoy it in the future.
