  1. small update but after switching back to DX11, the crashes described above have stopped but instead its now crashing with the message Hardware failure and redirecting to this page https://www.warframe.com/en/hardwarefail 1447.028 Gfx [Error]: Dx11TextureMgr::Present() failed, hr = 0x887A0005 1447.028 Gfx [Error]: Present failed; device removed: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG 1447.046 Gfx [Warning]: ResetDriver called on: Dx11Driver 1447.047 Gfx [Info]: Dx11 Driver Failure this is the error message seen in the EE.log files for this crash, no WAR message
  2. yeah there's a WAR code when the game itself crashes but the entire laptop crashing means I can't see any code or anything since it just blacks out until I force shutdown. I'll try get the logs though
  3. Lenovo Legion 5 - intel i7-10750H, NVIDIA RTX 2060 and 16gb RAM I've been having Warframe crashing constantly over the past month with it never being fixed and the crashes being random. But after today my laptop screen turns black and the fans start spinning very fast and loudly, which is way past what it sounds when the game is running normally. I've played other games that are just as demanding for long sessions with no problem occurring. The game is using DirectX12 as 11 was causing more crashing than before. There are crashes even without any other software running in the background, closed from task manager.
  4. I've been experiencing random Hardware Failure crashes at seemingly random intervals. Sometimes I'm able to play for 5+ hours without any issues at all, being able to load into open worlds like PoE and Orb Vallis just fine with no crashes or drops in performance. Other times I can barely load into a mission without the game crashing. I'm playing on a gaming laptop (Lenovo Legion 5) with the following specs and it's been cleaned very recently and has been able to handle much more demanding games than WF (I've been playing on Low graphics settings and Borderless Fullscreen). So far I've tried updating all my drivers, switching to studio graphics drivers, using default 3D application settings in nvidia control panel, and running the memory diagnostic tool which revealed no problems. I'm not quite tech-savy so I don't know how to get logs either since the game just opens the browser to the hardware failure page after crashing. Intel i7-10750H 16gb ram (most likely DDR4? not sure) Nvidia RTX 2060 issue has been fixed
