I feel like DE about this subject... I don't want more content (or at least less, much less) gated behind RNG. Riven mods have their place in the game... let them stay there for now, until they figure something else without or with less RNG.

I don't know, I honestly like being a leathery and have never like how Kubrow hairiness clashes with fleshy Warframe unique look even with the armor bits...thank god for the New Helminth Charger I can't wait to see him get PRIME with NIDUS! I have a feeling that Helminth Charger and NIDUS will have a VERY special unique PRIME look.
Anyway, I rather stay with my lizard, Leech, Bloody worm... cosmetics look, like Tyl Regor kindly puts it. lol
So unless I have a Hairy Warframe or a special deluxe skin beast like, I can not see how it could fit (IMO)... then again DE's art team are very talented they could find a cool artistic way to make it fit without a deluxe skin. They have surprise us before in the past, we would have to see.

Hmmm, not a bad idea...considering that Nintendo has (most of the time I seen in my opinion) had the most affordable console... But like JSharpie said it very unlikely.
Thought it be a good business deal for both Nintendo and DE to attract more players... Nintendo get a more mature variant audience and DE gets not only more players but also a "Portable Warframe".
Still I think it be a coding/programmer's nightmare to fit Warframe into a Nintendo Switch. It's something to consider at the very least in the future where there might be more advance tech for such multi-platform, eh DE? Beautiful business idea (in theory) indeed.

Makes me wonder how did Tenno won the WAR against the Sentient or the Immortal Orokin as the more we learn from them or see them, the more it makes me think that the Tenno we know are a weak faint shadow, compare of what they were in the past...

If I had to guess what an Umbra Warframe is I say it has to do with a Special Warframe that can actually kill Orokin in a Permanent matter... Since Orokin are like this Sninny Godly Sun like ascended beings... being Umbra to them may mean taking away their light or a darkness that swallows light...or in this case their "Oro". The Conclave is implied directly and indirectly that it may be training of some sort to accomplish this task.
So I think in theory Umbra Warframe are a special weapon of sorts against the Golden Gods... just like an Eclipse was believe in superstition to be a Darkness that swallows the Sun or Sun Deities, so the Umbra could be a code name to represent the weapon to permanently kill the Orokin.
Yeah I know, that's a long theory and speculation...sorry. I read tons of books of fantasy and human cultures mythos.

I think you might be right lately I done so much infested missions... maybe there is Mind behind it, for future content or maybe it was just my luck that most Alert where infested related? Or a forgotten fail operator that instead of possessing a normal warframe was consume and possess by the infestation instead?
It be great to see the infestation active and evolving again! Hope you're right about your theory!

Also, I seen players play him like this and they look incredible doing it. Make hard nightmare missions effortless... but then again I could be mistaken and I just got lucky enough to play with really Pro-Warframe players at does moments. Wish I could have recorded so you guys could see what I mean, those Harrow players were reaaally good!

Well I do know that in Nightmares and the Sortie Missions Enemies DO infact have a unique stat that gives them Elemental resistance to all combinations... Im not sure if it works that way combining resistances mods but it is something DE should consider at some point if it's not like that. Maybe a Riven mod lol (joking).

I know what DE said and I know he isn't coming back! This is just speculation.
That is an interesting theory, though I will agree that Excal Prime being a founder item will never comeback... If your theory is correct, it could be a different Excal with Prime stats.I mean Excal has more skins than any warframe to date... Why not have Founder, Umbra and Some other form different or additional Prime? We are talking about Excal here...he was the first and as such Excalibur Prime could have had other Forms besides Prime or Umbra... could even be a Prime form of Hyden Tenno, instead of a sword he throws giant glaives or have powers more related to him than the copies of Excal or It could be a more Knight like a Prime form of Shadow Stalker instead of a one handed sword 4th skill, his exalted sword is two handed one, since we all know Stalker is some sort of corrupted Excalibur anyway...etc...etc...
Well you get the idea...founders keep their toy relic general public get theirs... Im actually surprise DE has not consider to just make another that looks and is different from the founder one...They already did Umbra why not another... Excal is the king when it comes skins and frames already.
To be honest I'll be happy when Umbra comes out so this Excal Prime thing is put to an end... Everyone know Umbra looks soooo much nicer than the Prime one by far and if I remember correctly it had better stats if DE didn't change it in China... so, he won't be miss unless you're a hardcore collector. I think when Umbra comes out everyone will be happy and this whole thing will be behind us.

I completed it a 2am in the morning or so...yeah it was scary, very scary but I love it! Im more intrigue now about this Void that contains beings as old as the Stars, hope (Hope StallordD has some more lore explained in the near future about all that has happened so far!). We need an mission that is like this escaping a trap/ambush from an Assassin or Scary Boss!

Wow this is beautiful... the technique use for it, leaves you with a powerful impression on your mind! My favorite was the Tenocyte Strain, Lephantis and the Golem!

Hmmm, I say chose either Loki, Rhino, Ash or Excalibur...since all are silent and depending on what you're aiming for for company of the operator...each of this frames don't need to speak to let you know what their personalities could be like. Even their stances and normal gestures in-game let you know that. Ordis can fill in the gaps when voicing is need for the Sentient Warframe helping the operator. Also choosing will depend more importantly in the personality of the operator I think.
Cast and Personalities:
Loki... funny, smart like a fox, but skillful and resourceful is playful and like to play prank at the operator. Also would make it more challenging for both operator and Loki to survive as Loki has no offensive abilities except for Radial Disarm he is a trickster after all...both would have to rely on each other to make it through...
Rhino... Classic Silent protector with a BIG self sacrificing heart...taking all the hits for operator. Always willing sacrifice everything for its operator... Appears emotionless but in the end all his cold steel actions where center in protecting and caring for the well being of his friend.
Ash... Classic aggressive anti-hero out for himself but in the end warms out for the operator. Operator struggles to keep him in check as he prefers kill first ask questions later. Survival of the Operator, is the mission no matter if the cost or how he needs it to be done...an assassin through and through, the mission objective is everything.
Excalibur... Classic Honorable Samurai Hero, natural leader, silent guiding hand and teacher to the operator.

Wait, is this true? Wow... this is very disappointing... I was already turn down with the already overwhelming RNG grind... Sigh... I guess I will never be able to bring over my real life friends, as none of them have been able to play the game for more than a few days before getting discourage because of the intimidating time consuming way to get stuff...(real life responsibilities and all that stuff that keeps us from playing all day)
Warframe is turning out to be not casual friendly that's for sure, at least in the West... Im sure my Chinese gaming buddies must love it.
Darn this sucks... this game is so cool I really like it... I guess I should wait this out, it always happens in online games that start to grow big... The dark ages period were things get a bit difficult for everyone as the game tries to find its balance.
I think Ill keep away from the forums...for a bit... let the game surprise me or read the news elsewhere where it doesn't tell the bad side of it, because just reading to whats up its...turning me down a bit to much to play. Time for a bit of Skyrim then play warframe after I start missing it, if its not to late at night.
Im still root for you DE, hang in there Im sure you will find your center at some point. Even if not Im a fan for life, still have so much cool stuff to celebrate, so keep the good work!
SpoilerPS: I wonder if the new infested pet will have its prime version like this too?

Im sorry DE I love your work but this RNG an grind has gone far enough, I can't summit my self to any more... Great first mission, voice acting and story was incredible until the grind Index... that is just torture... I also read that's not the worst of it... I can't support this type of gaming in the West... Im sure China Players would love this. Enough is enough...
I need along break and invest my time and cash on something else...Its not like, I can not buy it, but I really wanted to experience it, if I buy it I feel like Im missing out, killing part of the fun of getting stuff through questing...it has happen before with other Warframes I purchased.
Im to burn out, need a vacation from Warframe. It feel like Im in the office in my computer...repeating the same commands and processes with errors added there on purpose... this docent feel fun anymore. I feel like I want to fire someone for not creating the right process to finish the work. And when a game makes me think about work like this is time to stop.
Hope you have a long happy holiday...rest up and hope you have a great new year. Ill drop from time to time...slowing doing content from now on, If I miss it so be it, I come here to have fun not to feel like Im working. Take care.

LOL! I agree to all...Wow your right I have forgotten about that. More detail is always welcome and glaive buff needs to happen specially Prime version. Im hoping DE community manager are adding these to their reports... there has been a lot of talk about the glaive in the forums. Should be interesting...to see how does this turn out.

Wow this is actually a very good post... Im sure DE will take this info into count. I believe that all the Glaive need a check up and tone up... Orvious unique mechanic is a good start... but still a bit lacking. If players keep posting helpful post like this I think we might see a positive change in our glaives sooner than later. Great job.

Yeah my fav main weapon need a big boost... if it helps, try using it with Steel Charge in combo with Coaction Drift. Add Prime Presure Point to your dmg mods, use Astral Twilight Stance for melee combos as it hits persistently a targets and has a good 360 AoE combo and flexible movement. For range try Power Throw, but be careful as we lost the E detonation control over it so if it explode near you with all this dmg mods in place it might one shot kill you.
Sadly I had to go through all this trouble to make its dmg competitive, but its still falls short specially if I use this melee dmg combo on more popular meta melee weapons. Im hoping that, that Boost DE mention the Primes are getting comes soon. Still Glaive is an Iconic weapon, a spiritual successor of Dark Sectors All-Purpose Multi-Task, all powerful Hayden Tenno's Glaive, it should be a top tier if not in dmg in Utilities and flexibility... I still have faith DE will look at it after they rested up form their holidays.
Try to be patient, Im sure it will take a look at soon.

Patience Tenno, this is all plans for the future, we need to deal with all factions main leaders, (minus grinner) before we take on the fight to the Sentients Home turf in the Tau system...that's when we will see the work on the orbiter as its a very important part to get there and the quest that leads there (also there will be a lot of Arcwing involved). Also keep in mind that the Sentient's we know are just "Shards" of ONE big sentient... and still we don't even have face its core... which I suspect its similar to our Lotus, which is powerful enough to move a Moon to the Void... so how hard and long these quest and fight might be, facing a whole Tau System of Sentients...? Very hard and long... I suspect that an overhaul of the Damage and Melee System and who knows what else, will be necessary for this to happen before this...also it will make way for the infamous Umbra; "the darkness that eats up the Orokin golden light" (The ultimate weapon to face off against the Orokin), maybe.
All these elements need to happen as by the time we return to our old system we will have to unite against our true enemy... the Immortal Orokin gods themselves and their Corrupted armies. Our NEW story moral choices will make this harder or easier.
Of course this is just a lucky guess on my part...lol
Point is the orbiter and all its cosmetics...will come out, eventually, but it will come out with a purpose not just as a cosmetic.
PS: God I hope DE is merciful with our wallets, and make the orbiter share the same skin and custom form you have with your ship. Not to mention that it will be something only you can see its not gonna be something to show off...much if at all, unless they change it...and still I think it be a bit to much if they be separate... Yeah I better be realistic, it be to good to be true...if it was tied to your own purchased ship skin and to much work for them. Specially if it will bring them well deserve income.

Yeah, Glaive should be at the Top with Nikata and Galatine (Maybe make a WoW Big Warglaives that you join them up to throw it like a big Shuriken? lol). I wish DE would make Glaive just as good as an option, these weapon...and Im not talking about damages only specially now that new more interesting weapons with cool mechanics are coming out!

If DE ever made able to split my Glaive like that and give it all that cool acrobatic melee/throwing animation I NEVER would have a reason to try other weapons...
Also seeing Tron fight makes me wondered why don't we have a stand up attack when where knock down... we have mods but I think it should be a manual thing to stand up and hit anything around you, mods just to do it quicker or Automatic like that Auto-block mod...We already have that animation in one of those social stances... DE just need to weaponize it, I think?

I been trying to get this mod, but seeing as its so buggy I should get it and test the built I have in mind for it later, when it gets fix... a failing aura is a big disadvantage, specially in high levels missions.
More and more bots being sighted no easy way to report them.

I have to add that I have notice a LOT of odd acting players, they afk all mission, when killed they insta-respawn, then move a bit then reply short silly answers. Is either Bots or players are using multiple accounts at the same time and that's why the odd behaviour.
It's a bit annoying especially in hard missions...
