dont know if it ever got fixed, but i changed from fullscreen to window/borderless and all the alt-tabbing issues went away, the only issue is sometimes other softwares might open a pop-up and those pop-ups usually deselect the warframe window.

As we discussed here it seems like there is no logic on the kept element during a Valence Fusion, so it either is bugged or it just makes no sense at all:

Yes, I'm sure. Luckily I didn't mind the swap from toxic to electric in this case but there are other weapons where this bug (and it probably is a bug) would have really annoyed me.

are you sure? if so then this is all bugged and it just chooses a random one.

Also should state that that before the changes if you transferred one with forma and a potato on it into another one it would transfer the forma and potato however this also doesn't happen anymore. Before the changes I transferred a 5 forma Heat kohm into the Impact kohm and it transferred to forma and all over to the Impact Kohm. After the changes I transferred the Impact kohm into the Heat kohm and lost all the forma and potato.
ok, so i guess the wiki is correct, the element from the strongest is the one kept. thank you

To some it up from what I've read it seem to be the one you start from, the one where you click "Actions"
thats what i thought too, but it never refers what element is kept, only investments, and then i read in the wiki:

when doing a Valence Fusion on 2 kuva weapons with different element bonuses, which element is kept? someone tried it?
is it the one from the weapon i press fusion from or is it from the weapon with the highest damage? -
is the clan event coming at the same time?

are you at the point of the game where there is nothing left to do? then roll more. if there are still plenty of other important things to farm then dont waste your time farming kuva and keep it the way it is.

thats bassically the token system, they talked about it several times and it was the purpose at the start but for an unknown reason we got RNG.
