  1. ((God, my head hurts. Someone has to explain this thoroughly for me to understand just what kind of ninjaing happened to allow this

Also, I fixed my post and now you have a pissed off Kate on your hands))

  2. "Motherf*cker..." Kate swore. "You okay, Droben? Besides Mubs dying... oh gods... Mubs'... dead?"

((This is why we need more descriptiveness and consistency. I, for one, have no idea of what the hells just happened.

Also, AladVI, deus angst machina is just a little dumb wordplay on deus ex machina))

  3. ((A nonsensical plot element that is supposed to make a character "tragic" but just makes them seem extremely unlucky.

Why did I say it? Because I sense CrimsonTuckr is going to use a Mary Sue to murder Droben))

  4. Kate frowned. "Perving, Droben? Wasn't expecting it from you. Then again, Boobens will be Boobens." She looked at Krelon. "May want to be careful, Frosty. Droben here? He electrified a Stalker's balls once, and the Stalker was lucky to live and tell the tale."

Abra facepalmed. "No, no, no, you misunderstand; he's pretending to be a mad scientist to keep his alleigance to the Tenno a secret."

  5. "Yes, but does he have anything to do with Corpus business activities, or is he some sort of outcast?"

Abra chuckled. "A bit of both. He has, over time, obtained the reputation of a mad, though incredibly gifted, scientist. Every once in a while, he goes to the Gas City to keep appearances. That way, the other Corpus underestimate him; they already have hundreds of mad scientists at their command."

((Just made some fanart of Abra at http://abraxascreations.deviantart.com/art/Abra-475391489. Let me know if it's any good))

  6. "Come on then!"  Felix said, downing the rest of his drink and marching in the direction of his shop, Abra in tow.  When they got there, Felix raised his arms, gesturing towards the shelves full of inventory.  "Take a look, ask me about anything you see."

Now that he had sobered up, Abra fully appreciated the extensive armoury that formed part of Felix's impressive display.

"Let's see... Amprex, good for crowd control... Phage, a wonder with the Grineer... I think that's an Wraith Gorgon... I have to say, this is downright impressive." Suddenly Abra saw the glint of a blade both familiar and inexplicably alien to him. He reached for it, and confirmed his wonderful thoughts. "It's a Galatine. A Galatine Prime..." He seemed close to tears of joy, and laughed. "A good omen! I will talk with my Corpus contacts, see if we can get my compound patented. A good business venture, indeed!"

  7. After cleaning up and leaving the kitchen, Droben took another walk through the gardens, pausing now and then to observe the koi fish. Eventually, he made his way to the springs, where three lovely young ladies were swimming, two of which he was familiar with. "Nyrvynai. Kate. Attractive female number three." Droben tipped an invisible hat and kept walking.

"Why not both at the same time?" suggested Miranda as she reached the bar.

"Booben." Kate smirked, looking at Droben's behind when his back was turned to the bathing women. "That &#!, though." She murmured.

"Well, now that we're partners, how about we go on down to my shop so I can show you some of the merchandise?"  Felix said, around the 5th or 6th toast.

Abra set his drink down forcefully. "Let us go, then!" He thundered, a slight slur in his words.

    (Nyrvynai's only 15. .~.)

As Shyla pops up and giggles, Nyrvynai joins with her, smiling until her stomach grumbles under the water.

    "I'm pretty hungry already..."

Once the other Mirage comes by, Nyr looks curiously to Kate.

Nyrvynai shyly tilts her head to the recently entered Mirage.

"Yello. I'm Kate; anything I'm interrupting?" She said, wearing a dark grey one piece bathing suit. She lifted an eyebrow. "I can leave if you want."

  8. ((Not sure if the Shyla/Nyr relationship will end in romance or just BFF-level friendship))

    *Meanwhile, back at the Druid...*

Once again, Kate was bored. Lazily rising from her seat, she decided to visit the baths.

On the way, she saw Abra and a Hydroid toast their partnership for the third time, which, for some reason, did not intrigue her in the slightest.

Entering the baths, she saw two other Tenno - one of them a Mirage like herself - splashing and chatting in the water. She chose to join them.

"G'day, ladies." She said cheerily. "Mind if I join?"

Sinking into the warm waters, she allowed herself a small smile. "Ahh... this is the life..."

  9. At that moment, Felix and Abra made trading history.

Of course, neither knew that eventually, after 5 years of good business and new products, they would build a company that would fund the inevitable Revolution against the Grineer and, to top it all off, would replace the Corpus as head supplier of manufactured goods in the Solar System and beyond.

But for now, it was a handshake loaded with promise, profit, and most importantly, friendship.

((That's it for me, folks. I need to get some sleep IRL))

  10. "That's enough to make 30 Hydroids, 10 Nikana, and 2 sets of Silva and Aegis.  All while taking as much time as you want."  Felix's jaw couldn't help but drop.  "Abra, I believe this is the start of both a beautiful friendship and business venture."

"Likewise." He offered his hand. "Partners?"

  11. "I don't know, I always find it risky to trade Argon Crystals, considering their short shelf life.  However, I would be fine negotiating some sort of deal."

"You misunderstand. These crystals," Abra said, offering Felix one. "Have been perfected. Took me seven months, but I figured out a chemical compound that halts their deterioration but still allows their use in Foundries." The Oberon grinned. "Quite a game breaker... but it takes a while for the compound to be absorbed by the crystal, and requires a rare isotope of Rubedo to stabilize the result. Nevertheless, I've built up quite a hoard."
