Well...i mean we aren't all ratchet, but again, that's the choice people make. Keeping it stated or not, it's not like everyone with a Boltor Prime has the same damage output across the board, it's how they build and customize that decides that factor. The Arcane helms also do that.
Well, that's not a fair comparison. Everyone has unique builds with varying stats, sure, but attaching stats to cosmetics means that cosmetic-loving players have to sacrifice an opportunity for a buff to look better. Usually the opposite happened, and they had to just weep over the sexier helmet during quiet nights in the Arsenal. The difference, really, is that with mods, you have a plethora of choices suited to your tastes. With helms, you had two options, and for nearly every frame, there was a near-unanimous agreement on which had better stats. If you chose other helmet, you'd be at a disadvantage compared to other players just because you like the look of it.
-
A compromise then?
How about have the Arcane versions available for use/buying, but if a player wants to have the Helm just for looks, use the current conversion process and convert them to pure cosmetic.
Would be fair to those who want, and to those who do not want the stats.
Actually, that's not fair because players who place importance on cosmetics get lower stats than ratchet players.

A million times, no. I am a cosmetics junkie, and having to pick between helmets I like and helmets with better stats was just painful. As you can likely tell from my icon, I love Zephyr, and I love being able to switch between her default and Cierzo helmets without any guilt about what it's doing to my build, and I'm glad they upgraded the older frames so that they can enjoy the same freedom.
That said, no helmets offered a strong enough buff to justify not using certain mods. At best, they pushed maximization just a little further.

Thanks, Magnagar. I guess I'll go ahead and post some of my other favorite schemes on various frames, plus a bonus Zephyr just to help get her examples started.
Ash:
Banshee:
Frost:
Nekros:
Saryn:
Vauban:
Mag:
Hydroid:
Oberon:
Volt:
Bonus Zephyr:
I'm praying I got all those tags right.

Ok, we need some Zephyr love. Here's my current color loadout, featuring colors from the Grineer (lime green), Twilight (bright blue), Tenno (orange-- Nekros' energy color), and Classic Saturated (navy) palettes:

So, I'm really pleased with the buffs Ash's Blade Storm has received in recent updates, especially with the "clones" and their ability to double-tap enemies that weren't one-shotted.
That being said, I was pretty disappointed to see that his body-doubles were simply holograms like Loki's Decoy. I guess I expected something else.
Ash, as we all certainly know by now, was slated to be called Smoke at one point and in spite of the name change, the bulk of his abilities involve smoke. I think that the clones should be changed to be smoky in order match this aesthetic.

No, Nova did not. Zephyr's Tengu is pretty disappointing, though. I'm hoping once I see it in-game after U14 drops on PS4 that it'll grow on me. If nothing else, I hope she gets her series 3 helmet relatively promptly.
-
Zephyr! Can't go wrong with a highly mobile near-tank with good crowd control and easy procs.

Y'all are a ridiculously hateful, entitled bunch. DE finished it and it's up to Sony now. Stop throwing these petty little hissy fits. I mean, it's a game, folks. I'm not even going to get angry with Sony because I don't know what goes into cert testing, and I'm not going to be so presumptuous as to assume it's a quick, easy process and should be finished in just a few days. Patience, after all, is a virtue.
-
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm rather confident that it has been mentioned in a Devstream already that other pets are indeed coming after Kubrows are implemented. After all, we'll be getting an entire Genetic Lab. It would seem that some kind of feline-inspired critter is inevitable.
-
Wait for normal business hours, folks.

As the title states, this glitch has been around since I started the game back in early January with no fix and apparently little acknowledgment from anyone, but it drives me nuts.
Whenever you access your mods in the Arsenal, your Warframe is left in the dark, making it exceedingly difficult to edit colors and such with any accuracy. It happens every single time, so if you're someone like me who enjoys playing around with coloration, you have to be sure to get it out of your system before ranking mods or selling dupes for credits, as there is also no apparent fix besides coming back from a mission.
As I've obviously had plenty of time to observe the problem, it seems that the light source isn't actually disappearing, but moves just behind your Warframe. The Sentinel actually has better lighting than the frame as a result, but it's still kind of at an oblique angle and not as good.
I'm just trying to be sure that it isn't only me.

Wraith Karak with increased critical chance and magazine size would be awesome.
AKA the Soma.
-
I'm pretty sure we'll be getting the cold version of the Cicero/Tethra mods. Remember that new Corpus tileset they revealed in a devstream with all the wreckage and snow? Yeah. We're long overdue for a Corpus event.

That's what happened to me. Specifically, it was when I was exiting my Arsenal, returning to the squad screen.I'm having login issues. It might have something to do with the Arsenal though, I also was in my main Arsenal menu when my game froze and I had to restart it. I just tried logging back in, first time it said "Login Failed. Timed Out." I pressed X to try again and after a long wait I got back in. I'll edit this if I get booted again.
EDIT: Just got booted back to the login screen. This time I was trying to get in to my Clan Dojo. I've been trying to get back in to the game but it keeps saying that it can't connect to the server.
-
I had a crash and couldn't log back in for a while, and later I was logged out and back in automatically. I also had an issue where it didn't save my progress after running Zagan. Really glad I didn't get Gleaming Talon that time or there would be real tears.

A Syandana like Tyreal's wings might be cool. Just have the Syandana act more floaty then the other types.
I so wish Zephyr got a unique, feathery syandana à la Nekros' and Valkyr. I suppose it could still happen, but let's get her series 2 helm out!
-
Zephyr, Soma, and I just got the Gremlins, but really enjoy them so I think they'll be my go to. Oh, and Glaive Prime.

Nyx's Menticide means "mind-killer" and Vespa means "wasp". Not a beetle reference to be found.Volt to me screamed Evangelion. Which, Wouldn't surprise me if it was inspired by said series, Since in the earlier DevStreams they said how they gained a lot of inspiration from that Anime.
Excal's helm designs could also be referencing Beetles. Nyx's helm design and names also reference, Beetles.
As for all your other thoughts on the frames, Seem pretty legit.

Vauban, i believe is only good on defense missions due to his abilities making it easier to stop enemies from attacking the crypod
While Vauban shines the brightest on Defense and Mobile Defense, he's usable anywhere. He's rather slow, so that can be annoying in Exterminations, but other than that he's alright. Bastille is useful anywhere and everywhere.

Amazing colours! I have unfortunately left mines as the default because I can't really find a good colour scheme that doesn't make her look like a big finger painting mess. If only I had the colour black but that would require buying the smoke palette and I have no platinum left.
Thank you! I noticed a lot, if not most, players leave Zephyr default. The best formula for her that I've found is to keep the Primary and Secondary a more neutral color, and then add a bright color for the Tint Color 3 for a little punch. Tint Color 4 matters less because it colors such negligible parts, but it can be used for an extra pop of color as well. I had a black and gray theme at one point with a bright cyan for Tint Color 3 and yellow for 4, which looked pretty good.

Zephyr is my all time favorite Warframe, but I've noticed that the complexity of her design-- she's arguably the most intricately detailed default Warframe to date-- has made it difficult for many players to get a solid, unique color scheme for her.
So, if you have a good one, please share and include the colors you use! Just use letters for each column, A-E, and numbers for each row, 1-18 and of course the name of the palette.
Here's mine:
Primary: Twilight 2C
Secondary: Twilight 2E
Tint Color 3: Classic Saturated 9E
Tint Color 4: Classic Saturated 8A
Energy: Classic Saturated 9E
