    Hello!

    As it says in the title, I just past the 300 post mark, and decided that it was time I formally introduced myself. So, here goes!

     

    I first joined WF on the 6th of March, when a Canadian friend introduced me to it. And let me say, this is the best thing he ever did. He told me about the game, and I thought I might as well give it a try, so I downloaded it and gave it a shot. I was really into playing supports for some odd reason, and so when he told me some of the Warframes that I could get, I almost screamed for Trinity.

    So before I had even finished Mercury, he took me on the boss fight to get Trinity, and then I rushed her with my starting plat.

     

    And now, well first off I haven't heard from that Canadian since May, but I still play this game. And I still use Trinity like no other.

    Now I am just MR 9, and just need a little more mastery to try for MR 10!

    DNS shouldn't matter in this case.

    (and frankly, that's impossible impossible as DNS doesn't work without a server and that server is accessed via IP address.)

    examples: 4.2.2.1 & 4.2.2.2 (level 3) -- 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4 (google)

     

    forwarding the ports to the IP address on the local network that your computer resides on should be the extent of what you need to do.

    Okay, thanks. I did what the website that WF supports links to said to do, but still can't play online. Thanks for the help anyway!

    i'm assuming you're referring to your software firewall in windows.

     

    in this case, you also may need to modify the port forwards on your router. (NAT firewall)

    google search for specific details about port forwarding for your specific router.

    Did look it up, and started doing it, just to find that my DNS code isn't numbers at all.  Now what?

    Before U15 hit, I could play with everyone perfectly fine, and etc. But after it hit, It now says that I need to allow certain ports with my firewall. I have already checked my firewall, and warframe is allowed, yet I still can't play online anymore. Any help?

    I'm talking about the f2p model. You either have to wait days to get your gear or drop loads of money into it.

    They make money on this F2P model, and we get tons of fun with it. If you can't just wait a few hours to get new equipment, then I suggest you don't play F2P games. Because most F2P games have a type of Model that helps players who pay, and others have to Grind for everything.
