  1. Well when you have 26 million accounts, I'm pretty sure if even 10% gave £1 to the game they'd still be doing pretty well in gross for a free to play game (WoW had a budget of $63million and blizzard is significantly bigger than DE and was based off a subscription IIRC). Now we know they are doing pretty good in sales and the game is still pretty half assed (a lovable half assed tho), they should be focusing on making the game even better, I mean just think about how much new player retention and subsequently and increase in gross you'd get.

Anywho, I'm happy to be part of WarFrame and hopeful to see a year of mind blows, better content and improved older content. 2017 let's go!

  2. Pretty sure it's not irreversible since the focus was just a head start also it shows up your final balance of light to dark in your profile after the quest.

LOL at the people arguing whether DE can track millions of players....have you not seen any of their stats? They post that stuff every couple of months...just look back and you'll see they have been monitoring since at least 13 million accounts were made.

  3. It's not a glitch, you haven't passed the actual test yet.

Press "ESC" > Go up to your username > Click "Rank Up" > Complete the mission > Screen should go white > Back in Liset you will get a pop-up saying you have new load-out spaces > You will now have a new mastery rank.

If you fail you will have to do it again in 24 hours.

  4. We didn't need a universal Vacuum, however, it's a convenience that is honestly a really damn good quality of life improvement (it means we can use any companion we want/be companion-less if we so choose, we can focus on actual combat instead of coming up with strats like gMag+ Mesa, it means we don't have to miss out on that drop we've been farming for 1000+ hours just because it fell off a cliff i.e. Despair in my case).

Right I know they didn't split it into 3 mods anymore but if people wanted to be that close to drops to actually pick them up, it's back to square one of having to look around for loot instead of focusing on combat, not only that but it's only applied to sentinels which helps no other companions which is kinda the reason we wanted a universal Vacuum in the first place...

DE hear me out: 10m Vacuum that's built into every WarFrame. It's easy to explain lore-wise, is convenient AF and solves a bunch of issues to do with companions and loot.

What we really don't @(*()$ need is Vacuum to be split into 3 mods, with less than half the current Vacuum range and for the mod to only be tied to Sentinels...that fixes none of the problems we currently have with the system and actually creates more issues (takes more space in already tight Sentinel builds, doesn't benefit other companions, is just a straight up nerf to the range).

they do both expire at the 30/90 days.... all boosters are running even if youre not "playing"

Honestly I wish they were time spent in game rather than real time. Would be such a good QoL improvement but it would eat into their money I guess (Dota 2 does it and it's free to play I think).

  7. Okay so I got to thinking (with around just 30% efficiency) and set out what abilities I would like to be Flux and Saturated:

    Flux:

    Spoiler

Shuriken (quick gameplay should be relatively spam-able like Genji), Landslide (the central point of his kit scaling and requires multiple casts), Spectral scream (I'd like this ability removed tbh but that's another topic), Sonic boom (a good oh sh-t move that should be readily available), Fireball, Accelerant, Freeze, Ice wave, Prowl (already a toggle and makes sense), Decoy, Switch TP, Snow globe (pretty much the core of his kit and should be readily available), Navigator, Quiver, Banish, Pull, Polarize, Tribute, Lantern, Soul punch, Desecrate, Nuetron star, Worm hole, Smite, Renewal, Firewalker, Blazing chakram, Peacemaker (now that you have to aim it's got good trade offs for being a stationary target mowing hordes and dying real quick or moving around being alive and doing less damage), Ballistic battery, Psychic bolts, Mind control (control many single mobs for a short time or build up to distract all the mobs with chaos), Rhino charge, Roar, Slash dash, Spores, Molt, Toxic lash, Well of life, Link (personal so could be more available than blessing), Ripline, Paralysis, Tesla, Bounce, Shock, Iron jab, Cloud walker, Tail wind, Dive bomb (I'd like this removed as well and Zephiebae to be given an ability that lets her maintain flight), Electric shield, Petrify, Tectonics, Silence, Effigy (this is pretty much a better spectral scream with CC so I don't really class it as an ult lol), Undertow, Rest&Rage (needs to interact when switching forms), Pacify&Provoke, Prism (it already has a toggle so it kinda fits as something you kinda want to keep active), Sleight of hand, Rift surge, Teleport, Tidal surge, Dessication, Sand storm, Sound quake

    Saturated:

    Spoiler

Tentacle swarm, Tempest barrage, Avalanche (big ult move), Invisibility (allows it to still be long but more precious since it is harder to generate saturated energy), Radial disarm, Bladestorm (makes it more of an ult as you are backing into a corner and want to slaughter everything), Smoke screen (same as invisibility really), Cataclysm (shapes the battlefield in a powerful way), Rift walk, Crush, Magnetize, Spell bind, Razerwing, Terrify, Shadows of the dead, Molecular prime, Antimatter drop, Reckoning, Hallowed ground, Warding halo, Divine spears, Shooting gallery, Shatter shield, Chaos, Absorb, Rhino stomp, Iron skin, Radial disarm, Blessing, Miasma, Energy vampire, Exalted blade, Hysteria, Bastille, Vortex, Warcry, Overload, Defy, Primal fury, Turbulence, Tornado, Speed, Rumblers, Sonar, Elemental ward (made recastable), Vex armor (made recastable), Metamorphasis (made so the buffs don't fade as long as you are in that form), Maim&Mend (would love to be able to have them interact with eachother), Artemis bow, Hall of mirrors (made recastable), Eclipse, Fire blast, World on fire, Devour, Scarab swarm, Radial javelin

Idk  it's just a quick rundown of what I feel. I think these would be kinda appropriate for the powers and their varying degrees of kit synergy and effect.

Invisibility would be slightly modified into a flux toggle. Go invisible, flux starts draining. Go visible, flux regenerates. Loki generates saturated energy at Y rate while invisible. Fits into the "utility buff" category.

Shock would generate flux energy on initial cast, with a bonus to energy generated based on how many enemies are affected by the lightning chain (# of hits). Fits into the "attack" category.

I like the idea and think it's better than our current 75% efficiency (30% in your system would be a fair number tbh) but I still don't understand how it would work. A few questions I have are:

    1. How fast is the recharge of Flux energy?

    2. What would the cap be for each energy pool be for each frame e.g. Volt Prime with a Primed Flow has 850 energy atm, with your system would it become 425 Flux and 425 Saturated?

    3. Do you have to reach the cap of Flux energy to start generating Saturated energy?

    4. How would it interact with the Focus system e.g. would Zenurik generate Saturated since it's utilizing pure void energy from the Operator or would it just supercharge Flux energy?

    5. How would enemies and hazards that drain your energy interact with it? Would it take Flux, Saturated or both energies?

    6. What criteria would each power need to have in order to be assigned to fit in the categories of Defense, Attack, Utility?

Forgive me if these are stupid (I haven't read the whole thread yet) but these kinda just popped into my head.

That's a bug, no need to rub it in their face. Also, they said it will be rounded up to 400, even if it means we will get more than normal.

I've not seen a fix for it yet so as long as that remains, it's a nerf. If you think I'm rubbing their face in it then you clearly didn't see the devstream when someone called them out on stream lmao, what I'm doing is pointing it out as many times as I can so they can see it and fix it. That's called constructive criticism lmao

Even for a newer player, no way it's faster to get rare cores than getting credits. Even if you were to do the fastest core farm in the dark sector excavation, with the way it throws the credits at you, you would definitely have tons of them before getting the required cores.

I didn't say that it's faster to get cores than credits (~16 hours for cores ~12 hours for credits) but with the credit cost increase and decrease in Endo drops (75 instead of the 387.5 it should be) it will take longer to get your fusions done than before simply due to the increase in credit cost, re-read some of my older posts lol the maths is there

Wait, I don't think you understand what I mean. What do you mean "take longer"? The method of using every single useless mod for fusion is 2x faster, because I usually need less cores. By the time I get a few hundred rare cores, I also have a lot of crappy useless mods. So instead of spending even more time trying to get the rest of the rares, I just use the useless garbage to get the fusion done instantly. The downside is that it costs more credits, but those are useless for other things anyways.

So it's faster, no way in hell it's slower.

For the average player it's way slower due to the cost of credits. You have played long enough and amassed enough credits to never really worry about them so it might be faster for you but you are not a newer or low income player so all of this doesn't really affect you.

Petition to rename update to "The credit crysis" xD im personally barely affected because i stacked 21 million credits with dark sectors and trials before that particular nerf dropped, but for new players this is gonna suuuuuck if they dont buy credit boosters (A CASH ONLY ITEM) to merely restore the conditions we enjoyed for years.

I do realize credit boosters were nearly pointless but this system makes new players credit starved and then high ranked players like me drag low ranked players to high dark sectors to help them gain credits in a frustrating environment where they cant kill anything. Not the best new player experience. (Inb4 dark sectors locked by mastery rank :P just kidding, hopefully)

As I usually point out I'm a U7 guy and I used to always have over 10 mill credits before U15 now I have just under 600k from 2 weeks of my normal play time. I literally cannot get over 1 mill without spending 6+ hours of non stop grinding for one day which is time I usually don't have aaannnddd that's only because I actually know where I can go to get a reliable amount of credits, if I was a newer player I'd be so f-cked since I wouldn't have the nodes unlocked, know where to go, wouldn't be able to solo Sorties etc...

okay. that is not a loss of Efficiency perse, but a loss of flexibility of the resources at hand.

It is a loss of both flexibility of resources and efficiency, due to the fact that:

    1. you can no longer sell cores for credits, therefore, for him the time taken for the same goal is longer an so the method DE want us to go is less efficient than his

    2. the cost of fusion has increased from 1: 101(1 point of endo to credits cost in the process of fusion) to 1:120

    3. endo drops in bundles of 75 rather than the 387.5 (5 r5 cores) it really should

We all know that longer time for same action = decreased efficiency but then to increase the credit cost and lower the amount of endo from mission rewards decreases efficiency even more. In simple terms longer time for same action + increased cost = lower total efficiency.

You can try as much as you want but the simple maths is there (check my older posts) while they may have made duplicates more valuable in the grand scheme of things you're going to pay a good chunk more and so you've both lost flexibility of cores/dupes as a source of credits and efficiency in the method of farming endo since it will take longer as the cost of fusion is higher.

Due to the credit nerfs, you're likely to have more Endo than credits to fuse mods with.

Again I'm gonna link these: http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Fusion
