  1. No stranger to auditory hallucinations, the doctor returned to his feet and made a mental note of the flower he just ate. Flavourless, and probably without any noteworthy properties.

"Well then, Tenno. Any ideas on where to go from here?" he asked. "If I'm not seeing things, that tree about a half click away looks like a good start."

  2. "Well, sound off if anyone is experiencing palpitations, loss of balance, nausea and excessive sweating then." said the Corpus doctor. "Though I'd probably just brush it off as rail sickness."

He appeared to share a similar interest in the flowers as the Equinox. He stooped down and plucked three specimens, slipping them into a test tube he produced from his doctor's bag. As for the third, he held it closely to his face, squinting at its fragrant, accented petals. Then without further thought, popped it into his mouth.

  3. The taste of old Earth in the banquet was nice and appreciated, but a whole new and less familiar world was waiting. The Corpus man in the lab coat set down his napkin and got to his feet, a doctor's bag in his hand. As he approached the gateway, he began to visibly shiver. Involuntary tremors, an unfortunate side effect of his research. He paused for a moment to pop a few pills from an inner pocket into his mouth, which instantaneously subdued his symptoms.

The Banshee had already left, being the first through the gateway. He slowed down as he reached the Equinox that was left behind, and turned his head to her with an air of politeness.

    "Ladies first?"

  4. The title still says so, should be safe to guess that it's still recruiting.

While waiting for a review and response, how about taking some time to go over your OC's sheet for a bit? Zeur was "put to work" on projects. Was she like, enslaved or something instead of the more likely outcome of being dissected for research or destroyed? She "grabbed an equinox frame" too, so was she imprisoned as an Operator? Why was there an Equinox Warframe in possession at the research facility? Not asking for 'Brief History' to be really in-depth, but bits that are a little more difficult to believe could be better explained.

For biological ages, Tenno certainly wouldn't be that young. We don't know a whole lot about the exact Warframe timeline, so you can simply list Zeur's as 'Unknown' like some of the other RPers here if you can't decide how old she actually is.

I'm guessing the 'sniper' scythe is supposed to be some kind of reference. Not sure what to think about it myself, but it's up to Maine to decide what they'll allow in heir RP.

That's just some small concerns I have. Looking forward to having more people join us in this RP 😃

  5. Just a few seats away was a Corpus man, pale in colouration with veins visible beneath sunken skin. His gaunt features made him appear rather malnourished, yet here before him was a spread the likes of which had not be seen upon Venus for years.

Despite being clearly Corpus from the hairless head marked with a snake-like barcode tattoo and the standard-issue subdivision jumpsuit, one could guess with fair confidence that he was going to be more comrade than client. He wore no trace of their extravagance and opulence, and the ramblings and business chatter of his brethren were of no interest to him. While they were hogging the platters of roasts, oasis delicacies and wine, he was instead scanning the table surface for his preferred brand of high-calorie nutritional sustenance bars. There weren't any of course, considering the setting.

His eyes travelled further up the table, and settled on a small platter of barbequed, skewered Charc eels between a pair of conversing Tenno ladies. He leaned forward to fish a few sticks onto his empty plate, eagerly took a bite, then shut his eyes in apparent contentment.

  6. In that case, count me in. With the same character as previously, with some minor updates.

    Name: Zwei Esser
    Race: Corpus
Personality: Curious nature, with a mind that tends to wander when not focused on research. Eccentric and cranky from self-testing of various drugs. May suffer from occasional withdrawal symptoms.
Equipment: A pair of Fang stilettos(Medium), obtained from his service researching various Stims on Tenno Relays. Doctor's bag.
Bio: The middle of three brothers, Zwei was a brilliant understudy of a Corpus biochemist, with a chief position waiting for him upon completion of his current project. He frequently tests his formulations and mixes on himself, recording his findings and experimenting with various substances.
Agenda: With his competent medical theory and knowledge of field surgery, Zwei often takes up contracts as a medical officer or field medic on expeditions and mercenary tours. Recently, his research has branched into Tenno-sourced Stim technology from Synthulas, and he desires to assess their efficacy. And what better subject than himself?

Appearance: Pale-lipped, dark-lidded, and sunken-cheeked with much of the colour drained from his clammy skin, standing hunched at about 175cm tall. His head is completely bald, with a snake-like pattern of bars imprinted on his scalp. A dark blue jumpsuit is worn under a white lab coat, deep pocketed and hiding various syringes and bottles.

Wilco chuckles and watches the Corpus do a pose of sorts, he saw that it seemed to fluid to of been improvised instantly. "I take it you've practiced that a lot, haven't ya?" He asks Hans.

Narakis' eye flicked to the drone, then back to Hans.

"You have a drone follow you around just for that?"

The pale figure sitting across from the flamboyant man turned as Sab spoke, searching for the source of the speech. She stared at Sab impassively then laid her palms upwards and shrugged.

"A hero should have a sidekick, wouldn't you agree? Though this little guy here is a hero in his own way, I'll admit." Morroc replied, still grinning. He returned to his seat and shrugged at the Tenno lad's question.

"Well, not everybody in the System knows me right now, so I need a memorable introduction. Give it a decade or two, and parents will be telling stories of me to their children!"

He chuckled merrily, evidently pleased with that thought. He drained his glass of water and returned the topic back to the new arrival.

"Now tell us your name, friend. I'll remember it, for in due time we'll be forging our titles in fire."

  8. 13 hours ago, Askaris said:

Narakis looked at Morroc for a long moment, before inclining her head.

"Good Answer. The Corpus have many sins to answer for; I like to think I contribute in some small way to giving them what they deserve."

"But if I had a credit for everyone in the Origin System who wanted to crack Corpus skulls, I could buy out the board of directors.
What do you have that the rest don't?"

The Tenno nodded at Wilco. "Take a seat."

    3 hours ago, WilcotheWolf said:

Wilco takes a seat, looking between the two. "What were you two talking about?"

Another Tenno! Morroc merrily bid the dark-suited male to join them.

"What I have? Well we'll find out soon enough, I'm sure. But you probably already had 'peerless combat prowess', 'sharp wit' and 'good looks' in mind." he continued, slowly getting to his feet as a smug grin formed on his face. "But for the sake of our new comrade here, let me reintroduce myself."

What many might have mistaken to be another beverage-dispensing Osprey appeared, shining a little spotlight onto Morroc.

"The gunslinger in grey... the scarlet swordsman. Defender against Grineer, and the cure to Corpus corruption! Agent Ten-Eleven, Hans Morroc!"

He punctuated his grand introduction loudly with a superhero pose of sorts, undoubtedly practiced countless times in front of a mirror. The Osprey sidekick projected some holographic confetti, playing a distorted tune that sounded like some kind of Old World orchestral fanfare. His eyes closed in satisfaction, and they could hear him saying something quietly to himself.

    "Heh. Nailed it."

  9. Morroc seemed more confused by the Tenno girl's words than much else, it being written all over his face as he tried to follow her words. Aura? And was she mistaking his uncertainty for fear and nerves, implying that he was actually afraid? Surely not he, the brave and honourable soldier of fortune who has challenged seventeen Tenno in friendly duels thus far(and losing honourably every single time)!

He turned back to Narakis as the girl left, quickly brightening up as she expressed interest in him. He cleared his soothed throat and began.

"You're sharp indeed, Narakis. Corpus I am, or at least I was. There's no glory and pride in being a merchant."

He set his glass down with hers, and his jolly expression darkened, if only for a few moments.

"Especially one who would seize technology from their creators, force debtors into slavery and trade arms to the Grineer. That wasn't how I wanted to make my living, not at the expense of innocents who perished by the weapons and mods I developed. That's when you Tenno came along, and the Perrin. That was all I needed... to know that there was another way."

His initial cautiousness around her had about evaporated. Despite looking somewhat dangerous, Agni seemed amicable enough, at least to hold a conversation with. He knew nothing of her own career and background, but couldn't help but feel a small affinity of sorts.

"So, to why I would move against my own? Those who build their fortunes upon the backs and lives of others, are not corpus to me. Especially when the weapons they manufactured ended up being used against those they called corpus."

... My favorite Rabvee Zaw went from having a range of 18 meters to now having a range of 9... I invested 6 forma and 22 rerolls into my Riven in order to have this weapon, days upon days of farming Kuva and making Forma, just so that my weapon could be made useless with this most recent update.

My favorite Plague Keewar Zaws also went from having a range of 16 meters to now having a range of 9, with both Primed Reach and a Riven that adds 100% range to it.

Meanwhile the Orthos Prime, with only Primed Reach equipped, still has a Range of 8 meters, and the Scoliac with only Primed Reach is still able to memestrike enemies that are 14 meters away.

    Why nerf Zaws???

To sell more Gram Rivens for inflated Platinum prices maybe.

Narakis raised an eyebrow as Hans downed his drink, fire and all. There was a brief silence as the flaming-ice-liquor made its painful way down his gullet before she picked up her own glass, blew out the flame, and took a sip.

"Traditionally, Frostburn Horizon is lit to add a toasted flavour, and to take the edge off the chill. Downing it while it's still alight is known around Venus as the Frostburn Suicide Shot." She raised her glass in salute. "Not something done by the faint of heart. Impressive."

When Morroc finally lowered the glass from his face, it was red as Rubedo. His eyes were reduced to slits, and smoke trailed from his nostrils and mouth. In spite of this, he seemed pleased with her explanation and praise(sarcastic or otherwise), and grinned in response.

"Not something I would try again, but that was a good recommendation, Tenno."

Still smiling, he reached for a nearby pitcher of iced water and poured himself a glass, drinking it as slowly and dignified as he could - doing his absolute best to not betray the fact that his insides were probably on fire.

After raising her glass and gulping down a swallow, Takar spoke once again to the strange man before her.

"Agent Eleven? An interesting designation. How did you acquire it?"

Morroc's brows furrowed for a moment as he realized he hadn't thought of a good story for his handle name's origin. So he said the truth, which he thought wasn't bad at all.

"I've fought countless daring and dangerous missions alongside Tenno warriors like yourself. It seemed fitting that I name myself similarly. Ten-Eleven just sounded like a cool number." he explained.

The Horizon drink continued to sizzle, filling his nostrils with a burning sensation. His eyes returned to Narakis and he suppressed a gulp. Determined not to let himself be outdone, he raised the glass to his mouth and swallowed the little flame, then chugged down the rest of the drink in a hurry.

    "

Very well." The Osprey said, floating away. After about a minute, it returned with three drinks. "Two Frostburn Horizons for Agent 1011 and Narakis Agni." It said, putting the Frostburn Horizons on the table. "And one Apple Juice for Takar Lathra." It said, giving Takar the Apple Juice. "I hope the choice was appropriate - we did not know what kind of juice you liked so we went with something quite common."

"Less than five minutes since I docked, and already I have a new sibling."

    Narakis pulled out a chair, sitting across from Hans. She flexed the fingers of her left hand idly, as if testing their motion. Seemingly satisfied, she continued;

"Narakis Agni." Her eye flicked to Takar, that ghostly smile crossing her features before vanishing once again. "No relation." She looked at Hans, still striking his dramatic pose. "I can't say I've heard of an Agent 1011 before. I think I'd remember if I had."

The man named Morroc seemed unfazed that the Tenno, or most probably nobody in the entire Dojo for that matter, knew of him. He took his seat as Narakis took hers, and continued unapologetically.

"Well, we're all brothers and sisters in arms now."

He looked down at the little purple flames in their Frostburn Horizon glasses, his bright brown eyes betraying a hint of uncertainty. The fumes and strong alcohol vapours wrinkled his nose as he sniffed, then looked up at his companions.

"Now then." he began, raising his glass after the girl Takar was ready. "To our meeting, our good health, and glory! Mostly the last bit."

Takar turned back to the ones standing near her, and addressed the Excalibur-head-wearing-man while 'looking' at him intently.

"Hello. I am Takar Lathra. What is your name?"

"Well met, Takar. I am the famed Agent 1011, Morroc. Hans Morroc!" the Excalibur-man answered grandly, standing tall and folding his arms. In a well-rehearsed maneuver, he jerked his head to the side, causing the helmet's faceplate to retract and reveal the smirking face of an ex-Corpus arms dealer; while pulling back his shoulders, puffing out his chest and causing his crimson Asa Syandana to flow (magnificently) in an invisible breeze.

"You sisters must be here for the same reason. The fates have brought us together here against a common enemy!" he continued. "To this fateful meeting, let us drink!"

  15. 1 hour ago, Askaris said:

Narakis scanned the list of drinks until one caught her eye.

"Frostburn Horizon. Old style." Her head turned to her companion. "Takar?"

@Arunafeltz: The woman appeared quite otherworldly; her skin was deathly pale, and you could just about make out the flickering green light tracing her veins. Dark scars spread out from behind the bionic covering her right eye, the remaining one glowing with the same green radiance. A pair of golden horn-like sensors protruded from her forehead, her ears replaced by a set of long, pointed augmetics. She looked young, but in a Tenno dojo that could indicate an age anywhere between late teens to over a millennia.

The Excalibur-man had met many Tenno over the recent years, fighting alongside and even crossing swords with them in practice duels(and losing very honourably and still very heroically every single time). They came in all shapes and sizes, with different faces and names. But the greenish glow and... unwhole appearance of this one unnerved him somewhat. He could feel the hairs on his skin prickling up as the light flickered and danced over hers. Intimidated wasn't the right word to describe how he felt. Or maybe it was, a little.

No it was not. More importantly, she had ordered an exotic sounding drink that he was not going to be outdone by. Especially not when she had a companion with her.

"Yes! Frostburn Horizon! That one, yeah I like the sound of that!" the man said with bravado. It was worth noting that the imitation Dex Excalibur helmet he was wearing had a voice modulator that sounded exactly like that of Corpus Crewmen across the system, an ugly grating contrast to the fine craftsmanship of the battleworthy hardware it was installed into. He eyed the pair ever more curiously, wondering if they were related. Sisters, perhaps?

  16. 18 hours ago, Agent_Maine said:

A small beverage-dispensing Osprey floated over to him, turning its head. Any remnants of Corpus coloring was gone, with the Osprey being painted in the Reaping Olympians' colors.

"What would you like to drink, sir? We have many high quality beverages for your consumption." The Osprey stated. They had obviously given it some basic form of AI in order to better communicate with customers.

"Krank's Wine appears to be one of the top ordered drinks by the customers here currently. It is highly recommended, if you are interested."

Seemingly disinterested in the food on offer, Narakis continued walking to the nearest drinks Osprey, hovering by what appeared to be a man in an Excalibur costume. It was in the middle of advertising a particular variety of wine to the seated man, citing its popularity amongst the guests thus far. Her eye lingered on the bizarrely dressed individual for a moment before she snapped her fingers at the drone and asked,

    "How about spirits?"

"Spirits? Oh yeah, spirits!" answered the low-effort Excalibur cosplayer. "The drinks of warriors! Give me uh..."

He glanced around as though expecting to find a recommendation somewhere in the hall. His curious gaze rested on the other patron seeking the Osprey's service, eyes squinting behind his helmet. "I'll have what they're having."

Lysandra's concern only grew with each over-exaggerated blow the Adoring Fan made. She honestly wouldn't have been surprised to find a cone of blonde hair under that helmet of his.

Not to mention she wasn't even fighting with a stance. She was raining blows randomly, occasionally ripping a digital limb of and using it to shatter the virtual skull of some unfortunate Butcher. The fact that her onlooker was treating her as a more serious entity than she was was very worrying.

In fact, how the hell did he even get in here!?

"Riiiiiight..." She droned, shaking her arms off, standing up and making a hasty retreat out of the room and, hopefully, walking off in the opposite direction of the Fan. She didn't know where the viewing screen was. "I'm just...gonna go."

Fully absorbed in his own fantasies at this point, the excitable man hardly noticed as his newest object of admiration took her leave. When he was finally done executing a seventeen-blow Gaia's Vulcan Tragedy Remorse Echo combo to the absolute bewilderment of the duty janitor, he left for where the buffet was for a quick and well-deserved drink. As he went, he fingered a small notch by his helmet's jaw, which caused it to close back up around his face as a fully-formed and high-quality replica Dex Excalibur Helmet. Now resembling a very large Cetus child with their favourite Tenno mask worn over their simply grey clothes, the man slid into an empty seat and waved for a beverage-dispensing Osprey to attend to him.

The birdbrain looked up at the screen, both unaware of its existence until now and unaware of the fact it was even

on. And the rather energetic man on the other side of the screen confused her and made her worry about a few things
Firstly: how long had that screen been transmitting?
Secondly: How long had he been standing there?
Third: Why had the enemies stopped spawning? She hadn't told the room to stop. Was there some sort of kill limit? If so, why?
Fourth and final: Why was he yelling out nonsense words that meant nothing to her?

She decided to get some answers. She craned her neck back and forth, feeling the second skin of her Warframe melt from her face and flow into her flesh and freeing her facial features for the frantic fanatic to feast upon.
Metaphorically. She felt rather uneasy that he'd been potentially staring at her for over half an hour.
"Ya alright there, mate?" She called out, suddenly realizing that she was actually exhausted. Which explained why she was puffing and panting.
Damn adrenal after-effects. She thought, sitting down on the floor with a huff.

"Alright? Me? Oh sure of course." he replied through the screen. "But know who's not alright? All those Grineer dogs, if they were real!"

Now that the enemies had stopped spawning, he took it that the simulation was over. He clapped wildly and whooped, utterly satisfied by the show he had just been treated to.

"That was great, Tenno! I really liked that Mountain's Rage hammer blow. And that Rolling Doom! Or Rising Gale? Well, one of them anyway..."

Trailing off with his not entirely accurate identification of unarmed fighting stances that the Zephyr may not even have been using, he began thrusting and punching the air again in mimicry of what he had witnessed. The man's presence in the Dojo, knowledge of Tenno martial arts and lack of a vaguely surprised reaction at her Symbiote nature showed that he was familiar enough with Tenno, while his weapons clearly indicated that he was a combatant. But for another mercenary answering the Olympians' call, this raving fanatic wasn't nearly quite as serious as one would expect.
