  1. I've noticed couple of times today when Lotus' voice suddenly changed to much higher volume and more clear voice (like she was near me irl, kinda), but not middle of an sentence, only on random sentences. I believe they were actually always about bosses because we were doing two Alert missions that normally are boss missions but the alert itself was something else. Lotus kept telling intel about the bosses while we were doing the actual mission objective.

    Weird stuff.

But yeah, I'll accuse you if I cant get sleep tonight.

  2. I'm using Viper myself and going to build dual vipers after getting my current single one to lvl 30. I dont have good mods, I dont have reactor, but damn vipers just feel and look so cool! Maybe I'm running out of ammo all the time, but whatever! Fun times!

  3. Agree on the part about taking risks and using the game mechanics (wallrunning, jumping attacks, being space-ninja) doesn't reward the player, but other way around. Which is a shame.

Otherwise as an not high level player myself, I'm having a blast with using whatever weapon I just want (all my plat is in my warframe and weapon slots!) because it feels and looks cool. No pressures. Hearing all this "WHEN YOU REACH THE HIGH LEVEL STUFF YOU BETTER HAVE 5X FORMAD SOMA OR YOU FAIL AT LIFE" attitude kinda makes me want to stick here around lvl 30 mobs ~

  4. When the forums were filled with people actually being helpful? When there weren't threads full of idiocy? When the devs could actually hop onto the forums and get actual feedback instead of asinine complaints and doomsaying?

    I remember.

Ermm... Is this what they call irony?

But yes, I remember closed beta :) One tile-set! One tile-set that ruled them all!

  5. I like playing online most of the time. It's usually faster and gains more steady experience for my gear (because when I dont kill something, the experience is shared among all my equipped things!), and and... Well that's about it. I dunno, I like pugging, I'm weird like that. It's probably because I dont have any friends. Playing the game, that is.

But most of the points you make in your post are accurate, more or less. Lag is annoying, as are people running in other side of the map (especially in survival missions >.<) and missing half of the loot sometimes.

  6. You probably simply didn't understand how the mod system works, and tried doing too high lvl missions. Sometimes it's very frustrating when you dont understand systems that game itself SHOULD explain clearly, and it's one of the biggest flaws for new players in Warframe, imo. The game doesn't tell you that you're supposed to do the same missions again and again to farm mods and materials.

If you, OP, are still reading these posts, then my advice is: come back later, especially after the next big update for PS4. Calm down, take your time. Ask for help. Search for guides, there's plenty. And learn to write properly, no offense. It really helps if you can clearly express your mind.

  7. I admit that when I'm in solo infestation mission, I feel creepy. Dark halls, especially in spaceship, without anyone else besides the infested in the whole ship, with all that creepy infested stuff covering the walls...

I dunno, it just brings the System Shock 2 feeling for me.

  8. I thought that you only get M rating if there's insane amount of gore, which this game doesn't even remotely show compared to other games/movies with lower rating, or simply by having boobs flashed once in obscure missable side-scene.

    Ratings, how do they work.

  9. I generally dont like the concept of "make the enemy unit to provide health/energy". It just doesn't feel fun at all. Why not targetable heal, or area of effect heal that you place on the ground? It's simple, requires just right amount (minimum) of team coordination, and is more fun to use than having to get just the right mod build for lame skills. At least for me it's more fun in other games (example: "tales of" series).

I only use EV and Blessing myself. Mostly Blessing.

  10. Hey, thanks for the guide! I'm beginner myself and there's so many things I dont know about the game, but small tips like this is very helpful for me :) There's no way in hell I can solo Alad V by myself yet, but this helps so at least I'm not complete burden to my random group!

    Valkyr frame here I come!

Edit: Oh, and I also noticed that he drops some cool pistol mod. Hope I get that before my frame parts!

  11. I like it :) I find it fun that there's need for more tools than just one set of favorite weapon(s). I like to switch weapons now and it feels really satisfying to level up new ones for specific purpose.

Downside is that it's annoying to keep switching mods and weapons one by one. If I'm doing 3 missions in a row, and all of them have different enemies for some reason, I need to switch every weapon and possibly some mods as well, and when you have at least 9 weapons (3 of each, primary/secondary/melee), it starts to get confusing. Especially when you only play couple of hours a day at best. It's rare to change weapons that often, but that was just an example.

In short: D2.0 is imo fun! But it would be really handy to have a loadout system to change weapons+other settings quickly instead one by one.

  12. Also running defence missions instead sticking to one map at the time reduces the risk of dying so that you cant revive anymore, and losing credits and mods. Not big deal for most of us, but it's small bonus while grinding that Affinity. But if you dont care about that and dont have the risk of dying, one map with continuous spawning should be better.

  13. Came here to search answer for this question. Got heat dagger for my new warframe and I somehow assumed that OF COURSE they are dual-daggers and their benefit would be speed. But nope, they were clumsy, slow, short range. Very dissapointed :( Going to buy dual skana instead.

But yea daggers should have some benefit over swords. Like for example, speed, or more critical hit chance. Or both, as speed doesn't really help anyway if you still do same damage in the end as with other weapons that are better in other areas.

  14. I just started it, and I'm finding Pluto a bit of a let down. I thought soloing there was going to be a fun challenge but it's hardly any more difficult than the rest of the game. As long as you kill quickly and are patient with your shields, it's not hard at all.

In groups it's a total breeze.

It does get challenging at times with certain mixes of enemies (lots of shield drones chaining), but only really if I'm going for speedy kills. If I sit back and take my time it's a bit of a cakewalk.

How are you guys finding it in general? Have they lowered difficulty of the area recently?

I just tried first mission in Pluto, lvl 30 Excalibur frame with pro and non-pro lvl 30 Gorgon. It's defence mission. I got completly murdered on second wave because there's no time to recharge the shields.

You probably just have really good mods. Unfortunately for me, I didn't get any good ones before the change to enemy level affecting mods lvl.
