  1. Of course not, Primed Chamber is obviously better, but with it's the fact of the matter that there's a pseudo equivalent which is also mainly used on the Vectis, having the extra shot in the chamber makes it's prime counterpart do less damage overall.

I used to think so too, until a kind gentlemen on the wiki wrote this, and I quote:

"The Vectis, assuming you manually reload, has a 0.9 sec. delay between shots. The Vectis Prime, if you DON'T manually reload, has an alternating 0.667 and 0.9 delay between shots, in that order starting from the first shot. The 0.667 comes from the fire rate; dividing 1 by the fire rate of a weapon will show the delay between shots. This means that, technically, the Vectis Prime has a higher rate of fire if you don't manyally reload. I will also assume each shot takes 0.1 sec. to fire off, though it's mostly just for consistency's sake.

Now, with primed chamber, each and every shot from the vectis (unmodded) will deal 450 damage, while every shot for Vectis Prime will alternate between 550 and 275. If we take all the first two shots' total damage (Assuming we template off the Vectis prime's 2 shot mag) and add them, we get:

Vectis deals 900 damage every 1.1 seconds.

Vectis prime deals 825 damage every 0.867 seconds.

Good, bravo, wonderfull, I've prooven that Vectis is better than Vectis Prime...

EXCEPT you need to consider this only applies to about 100 or so people, so it's irrelevant to the rest of us.

Now, with charged chamber, the damage changes from 450 to 315/550 to 385.

This means the final result is:

Vectis with 630 damage every 1.1 seconds.

Vectis Prime with 660 damage every 0.867 seconds."

  2. you misunderstand, though i tried so hard to make sure what your saying never would lol. I'm not saying anything at all is wrong with the current tenno weapons. I'm saying that they can add new ones with similar features. A Boltor looks nothing like a Latron but they are both Tenno weapons im just saying this is another niche to fill, explore, etc. and they are getting a makeover thats fine and all but I'm not saying anything was wrong with them in the first place or that they need one... Simply more of the same kind :D

As for the info on the weapons, thats common knowledge so please as kindly as i can say this don't patronize me

Oh. I haven't slept in like 24 hours so I might not be at peak effiency right now. I meant no disrespect in my comment.

There seem be some other weapons straddling the line like Akstiletto, Akzani, Aksomati, Dual Raza and Anku that all seem fine so sure, more of them if DE sees it necessary.

Personally I usually prefer practicality and comfort before looks and the majority of other users seem to think the same, so if DE released more subtle and less ornate weapons a lot of people probably wouldn't mind.

The biggest obstacle is probably DE's own vision, they don't want to design easily recognized weapons, which is apparent when most of the aforementioned weapons were either made like two years ago or were designed after older ones.

  3. Well, Burston is at least getting a makeover and Lex is probably getting one soon as well. Braton is a cheap massproduced recreation of Braton Prime made by the Corpus.

As for the tenno aestethics, I'm pretty cool with them, they're basically a blend of the other technological factions. They have the Orokin ornate style combined with a industrial (Corpus) and organic (Grineer) look.

  4. There are tales of a dark creature that lurks in the night, feeding off the nightmares of children and stealing the pies off of countless windowsills. They say it smells of swamp gas and is eternally covered in mold from Grenada.

    They call it... the Woolie.

Damn it, I had some pie and now it's gone. I hope you're proud of yourself.

  5. Ballistas were buffed to become glass cannons several months ago. I don't know when you started playing but they used to be the Magikarps of Warframe, unable to do any serious damage at all.

All in all, this is intended, as they can't take nearly as much as they dish out, try to prioritize them over regular infantrymen.

  6. I really hated grinding in Dark Sectors until recently. Just Peacemakering Mesas and Mags staying on one point killstealing everything and pulling the loot over before leaving after just 5 waves. It sure was fun just sitting around with my thumb up my exhaust pipe not gaining any levels or loot. Good riddance to GMag.

Also, nice to see someone else who doesn't use Mesa just for the Ulti.
