  1. I can't be the only one hoping like hell that when they put Valkyr in noggle form, they'll also do a Bastet version. That helmet is the very definition of cuteness, and in noggle form... my God... I would worship the ultra-cute result! I'm sure I'm not the only one right? ... right?

  2. As a member of the Valkyr fan club (which most definitely exists and isn't something I just made up), it would be blasphemy for me to not vote for my favorite waifuframe warframe, the ultra-cute fuzzy ball of berserk death known as Valkyr!

Fun-fact: Voting for Valkyr reduces your chance of being hunted down and angrily clawed to death by 100%!

  3. Eh, I personally think it's a bit too far-fetched, mostly because they look nothing alike, then there's also the reasons Ionus stated.

I think it's best if we stop trying to find connections where there is none. Mesa and Valkyr are different frames with their own identity, and trying to argue that their the same really undermines their individuality.

    Mesa is Mesa.

    Valkyr is Valkyr.

  4. To hell with it, I already have a hobby of using Gmod to pose warframe characters and then posting the result to pass it off as 'art', might as well enter a contest while I'm at it.

Hopefully it doesn't suck as much as I think it does.

  5. What i get is that people dont like any piece of logic in their game, not that i'm a fan of rhino, but why does a warframe which has been disecated has the same resistance or even greater than a frame which is specifically design to take high amounts of damage?

Why is my superior technologyc warframe(frost, no slow aura, no cold resistance) lower in technology than an arctic corpus/grineer eximus?

What i want is a little bit of focus on the logic side of the story.

How does my teno enter all the different warframe each one with its one size & shape?

I don;t like illogical actions & things in games, I esspecially don't like explanations like "space magic" that's why i try to help and improve.

So the reason you want to change the playstyle, abilities, performance and potential builds for a frame, is 'logic'?

Valkyr used to have 200 armor, pretty much the amount you want her to have, back when she pretty much had to be in Hysteria to survive. To make her more usable and balanced to a better level, her armor was increased to 600, and the melee 2.0 update helped her become the melee go-to frame she is today. You want to reverse that and bring big, completely unnecessary changes to all of her abilities because it would be 'logical'

There's a reason why player characters in shooters don't get gravely injured or immediately killed whenever they take any damage, seemingly everyday Joes you play as in other games can go toe-to-toe with several trained, armed-to-the-teeth goons and live, and the typical protagonist is generally more effective than the U.S army. Because having too much logic in video games can be a detriment to game-play, there has to be room for a bit of un-realism. Now I'm not saying that there should be no logic in gameplay, I'm wouldn't expect to be able to use jet-packs in the Last of Us, of blow up tanks in GTA by looking at them funny. But Valkyr's armor rating in relation to her appearance is nowhere near as illogical as the hypothetical situations I made up.

Her armor rating not properly matching her appearance is a very small compromise to make in order for her to be able to perform well in game-play. It's okay for there to be more logic in a story, but changes to game-play should be dictated mainly by game-play. You're asking to bring about a completely unnecessary, complicated rework to radically change the effects of Valkyr's abilities and severely nerf the frame. I've performed some (rough) calculations  and with the changes to her health and armor you proposed, Valkyr would have less than half of her current EHP! You want to make the frame that will be in the midst of battle, taking more damage than any other frame, as durable as the average frame without the shields!

Now you don't deserve to get hate for this idea, because no one deserves hate. But this idea is completely unneeded, and frankly pointless, and all because you want there to be more logic in gameplay, in a game where we play as expertly-trained, super-powered ninjas with exosuits fighting futuristic ugly clones and boxheads, using swords, bows and throwing knives. Now you might think I'm picking on you by saying that your idea is pointless and your reasoning is flawed, but I'm just pointing out that this game would probably be very different (in a bad way) if decisions concerning game-play and balance were dictated by 'logic'.

On a side-note, it's not like Rhino desperately needs not be made more durable. He already has the 4th highest effective health in the game, and this isn't counting his tied-for-highest shields and iron skin ability, though as someone who doesn't use him often I wouldn't object if someone thought he doesn't perform his job well enough.

But Valkyr is fine, and if I didn't make this clear enough, 'logic' isn't a good reason to request that a character in a sci-fi theme video game get made worse.

  6. That's even more saddenning. What was the Design Council thinking when they picked the augment?

Well to be fair, absolutely no mention of a cap on how many free rip-lines you'd get was made. I think a lot of people (including myself) were under the impression we'ed be able to cast unlimited rip-lines as long as we stayed in the air. The difference between 'unlimited rip-lines in mid-air' and 'a few free rip-lines' is pretty big, and so I think that if the cap on free rip-lines was made clear in the poll, many people wouldn't have voted for it (I sure as hell wouldn't have).

  7. If we're talking about purely visual flotsam here, I'd like a fistframe. You know, a billion punches in a second; martial arts; that kinda thing.

Obex + War cry + Speed = Nanospore addict level of speed

    Accurate Representation:

How about a kickframe? Destroy all those greedy box heads and ugly clones as the distant and infinitely skilled distant descendant of Bruce Lee!

  8. Here are some of the kinds of characters I like in video games:

    -Characters that are melee focused.

-Characters that can take tons of punishment.

    -Characters that can go berserk.

-Characters with a dark or tragic past.

Valkyr is all of these in one package, and my absolute favorite warframe.

Plus she is just adorable with the Bastet helmet.

  9. Broken lights:

Step 1: Go to your outpost/ship.

Step 2: Instruct everyone to break every light in the outpost/ship.

    Congrats, your outpost/ship is now 100% super-powered, expertly-trained, exosuit-clad space ninja proof.

  10. I definitely don't think Valkyr is useless because of this. The life strike combo with a modded top-tier melee weapon can let her finish T4 missions and below without firing a shot, and if you're good enough you can go very far in survival. However, the lifestrike and rage combo is pretty much mandatory if you want to use Valkyr against Corpus and Corrupted now.

  11. Well considering one of the biggest reasons people get a frame is the abilities and playstyle, I think Valkyr prime should have the same abilities as Valkyr, so Valkyr players can enjoy the prime version of their favorite frame, not a knock-off that is only similiar in name and appearance.

    Alternatively:

    1. SNU

    2. SNU

    3. SNU-SNU

    4. SNU-SNU!

    My suggestion about skills.
