  2. I see no fix about the Primed Mod not getting doubled fusion value from their base counterpart. Is that done on purpose?

Considering that the modding screen consider them both duplicates, it feels to me that it's an oversight to have them not share a fusion bonus.

  3. I have many formas on both Tigris and Sobek.

I personally prefer the Tigris all around for it's burst and quick reload but they're both usable.

IMO if you really can't take a call: use the Tigris if you're certain everything will die in one hit or two, take the Sobek otherwise (since autos are more handy when dealing with damage sponges). With that said, I use Tigris in Tier IV survival easily up to 35-40 minutes.

  4. Hello,

Like many other players out there, I am very aware of just how much of a task maxing mods with 10 ranks is, a task that is made all the more daunting with every primed mods that are being added to the game.

To make matter worse, rare five fusion cores have become much rarer and more desirable than ever.

Many suggestions have been made on the matter, from making the aforemention fusion cores more widespread to adding even bigger fusions cores to the game. Other threads have even suggested that the 10-ranks mods grow more powerful with every level to make it worth the current hasle that is the action of maxing them.

With this in mind, I make this thread to highlight something I believe to be a gross oversight that would lighten our burden ever so slightly in our ongoing struggle. If you aren't aware already, we cannot equip both a Primed Mod and its base counterpart on the weapon, meaning that they are functionally being treated as duplicate mods. That isn't the issue however, as this is clearly done for equipment balance.

The oversight I want to highlight is that the fusion process doesn't treat them as duplicates. The reason this matter at all, is that duplicates gives double the fusion points of a mod with the same polarity and rarity level.

Does that change the world? No. But with 160 spare Reach mods in my inventory, you can bet that I would save at least a few fusion cores in the process of leveling Primed Reach. The same stands for the other Primed Mods.

Hence why I suggest that we change the interaction of Primed/base mods to the same interaction between duplicates of a same mod for fusion. Again, the game already aknowledge them as being duplicates when it comes to equipping these mods on the same weapon. It seems like common sense to me that we get the pros (bonus fusion rating) of mod duplicates alongside the cons (unable to equip two copy at the same time).

    Bullet point summary:

    • Leveling Primed mods is hard.
    • Primed and base mods are treated as dupplicate for equipment.
    • Primed and base mods are NOT treated as duplicate for fusing.
    • Primed and base mods should be treated as duplicates in both instance.
    • This change will NOT make R10 mods super-accessible, but it will make the operation a bit less painful. Credits will still be an issue, an issue that isn't addressed by this thread.
    Thanks for reading.
  5. The community rages at nearly everything DE does anyways.

I like the idea, but slightly dislike it at the same time....the oppurtunist in me is not happy

    Ok?

I was setting up for a rakta ballistica joke, but the gammacor as well.  They already nerfed the energy gains from those two weapons.  Buffing it back up when they don't want them in the game makes no sense.  Plus the guys who get the stamina max would get nothing out of your change.

If I am not mistaken, they nerfed the energy regen which gave usable energy. My suggestion would affect the boost to the capacity which affect the amount of energy you can hold. Disregarding the fact that DE can change their mind anyway AND that this is a conditional buff, I still do not see this as a relevant argument to shoot down the concept.

The uselessness of the Truth proc is irrelevant here. It just means the buff needs to change to affect something more useful than stamina, not that my change is problematic.

  6. Question 1: Which Syndicate will get an augment mod for Tigris and why is it New Loka?

Question 2: Where are our Kubrow quick-thaws that were brought up five or six devstream ago? Something about using Cryotics to thaw our Kubrows faster.

Question 3: Will the Syndicate effect ever scale off the Syndicate rank?

  7. See that part? If you are in the right Syndicate

So everyone else is pretty much boned owo and those players will probably complain about it again

I'm not saying I don't like your idea owo it's just what I think might happen with buffs and nerfs nowadays.

Well technically nothing changes for people outside of Suda, so the statu quo remains for them. If they complain, I have to say it would be at best an irrelevant whine because they are envious of a buff that other players got for sticking to a syndicate. Said people are probably disregarding the similar buffs their syndicate received.

  8. I can already see it if this gets implemented

    Le patch notes:

-Syndicate weapons now gain a buff according to the players rank in the Syndicate it belongs to.

    1 week later:

Oh noez! People are complaining about how their OP Gammacor got nerfed to the ground and now they rage on the forums!

    Another week later:

Nerfed all Syndicate weapons like hek to accommodate to the buff gained for ranking up.

    <w<

    Just being realistic here

I'm afraid I don't see how this chain of event might happen. The Gammacor nerf already happened and this would basically be a re-buff for it (if you are in the right Syndicate).

  9. How is the current situation of the Inquisition?

Currently we have a lot of replies for Steel Meridian and Cephalon Suda. Almost 20 with both. The rest are all below 10 replies.

Results so far for Steel Meridian.

Results so far for Red Veil.

Results so far for Arbiters of Hexis.

Results so far for Cephalon Suda.

Results so far for New Loka.

Results so far for Perrin Sequence.

  10. Hello,

I have recently acquired a Vaykor Marelok and a Synoid Gammacor. While both weapons are strong, I was more interested in the buff they give than their damage output, which sparked the reflexion that led to this thread.

You see, it occurred to me that, as a Loka partisan, I received the same buff from these weapon that a full fledged member of either faction despite being an enemy of both Syndicate. I think this is kind of counter intuitive, and ultimately doesn't really encourage the player to stick to the weapons (or mods) of his faction, which should be something that is at least minimally incentivized.

This is the reason why I believe that the effects should scale with the Syndicate level of players, hopefully as a mean to make all weapons (and mods) valuable, and not just Synoid Gammacor. (Tho I am aware of the buff it would be to an already strong weapon).

I think the following tiering is reasonable and doesn't break the game:

    •  Syndicate tier 2 and below (including negative): The stat buff increases only the base stat (IE what we have currently). Taking Oberon's health as an example with the Purity effect, an Oberon with maxed vitality would receive a bonus of about 31,25 max health increase for the duration of the Purity effect.

    • Syndicate tier 3 and 4: The stat buff increases the highest between BONUS stat and BASE stat. In the case of an Oberon with a maxed Vitality, the BASE health stat is 125 and the BONUS stat is 550. The bonus from Purity at this level would be about 137,5.

    • Syndicate tier 5: The stat buff applies to the TOTAL stat of a Warframe. An Oberon that is Flawless with New Loka would receive 168.75 bonus max health for the duration of the buff.

As a player, this feel like a reasonable buff that makes mods from my own syndicate much more desirable, and this without buffing the AOE that is sparkled periodically (which I find borderline OP already). It goes without saying that we can also consider increasing the value of the buff. In the Oberon examples I used, the Purity buff remained at 25% throughout the  progression, but it could also be buffed as the player level. Similarly, the 'restoring' effect of each could also follow this power curve. As we are aware, the Blight/Entropy used to do that, and was ultimately nerfed but I could see it's return being limited to tier 5 players of either Syndicate.

A further suggestion I can muster is to make the duration of the buff scale off the syndicate level as well, which I find to be somewhat less interesting but falls in line with the recent buff/nerf of Warframe augments like Ember's Fireball Frenzy.

    Thanks for reading.

  11. From doing 4 Syndicates, at various ranks with highly varied stored pools I've not noticed much difference at all.  I'd expect that all missions have the same equal chance and only the total number of medalions you can find really change anything (obviosuly with the less medalions you can find being less chance of having higher tier ones but the average being about the same).

Though l am curious to see the results anyway.

Here is hoping someone doesnt just screw with your results.

So far it actually seem like Cephalon Suda has actually no Genius datum collected yet, out of ~9 responders.

The data pool is really small, but that is still quite confounding, to say the least.

    -----

In other news, I'd like to thank the people who responded already and remind you that if you can collect more data it would be greatly appreciated!

Also, we have very few Perrin responders, if you are part of them we really need you!

  12. I'd help, but I've got full reputation with Red Veil as an Exalted and with Steel Meridian (but I don't have their required Rhino helmet). I'll get back to you when Syndicate primary weapons are released.

Nothing stops you from stockpiling more medallions for future use if you really mean to help.

It's worth looking into. I've been sitting on my medallions since they came out. I've stockpiled the most with Steel, but I've picked up more rares with Suda. I figured it was RNG but now I'm curious too. I'll start filling these out as I do my missions.

How many of these are you hoping to collect? If it were me, I'd want a massive sample, but that might not be doable.

I am expecting at least 10 entries for each syndicates. I hope for hundreds of replies.

The absolute best would be to get an endorsement from Rebecca, like that post she did in a thread for a popularity poll which reached about 3000 submitters.
