  1. I was going to start a topic on this subject but since I found this one...

I dont think DE is taking advantage of what the trader can bring to the table.

First off, waiting two weeks for 3 or 4 items is simply ridiculous.

Warframe has way too many mods for the trader not to carry some of them. Tethra mods only came around once after the event.. to the best of my knowledge.

Its not even that big of a deal for him to bring something like a serration or a streamline mod. It took me a month and a half to get my first serration. Last night someone was in the earth relay begging people for one. I know this doesnt cater to the top players but the point is to populate the inventory. Soon we will have enough primed mods to have a descent rotation (for top players). Event weapons can make an appearance in that inventory as well. I know lots of people who will favor this. Cosmetic material should be the "plus" on the traders list.

Warframe has way too much content for the trader to appear every two weeks. With the amount of mods people need, ranging from event mods to important starter mods, and event weapons that have been gone for over a year, two weeks is unnecessary.

Now, I know some people will rage at the idea that they earned their event mods and weapons, and that they shouldn't return but cmon man, I earned mines too but its time the rest of the tennos got a shot at em.

This, for the time being, will throw people in the void, and I know some are pretty tired of void farming but its better than not having a shot at some of these mods and weapons at all.

Also, I think the relays should be the last mission available on the planets. This will have new tenno clear their missions so they can reach the relays, thus populating the planets with squads.

Edit: I understand that mods are available in trade but its not going to cramp anyones plat business if the trader brought a few mods with every visit. With the amount of mods available chances are you wont see the same mods come around for months.

  2. Best parts on this event are the enemies that scale up to the Bursas lvl, and sometimes... at around 99% transfer, right when were getting ready to kill the Bursa... it takes off on us!

Overall, the event was a bit boring but i cant say i didnt have fun.

  3. Eventually, Warframes will need 10 mod slots... maybe more.

When DE took out ability mods we were given more room to construct different builds. Back then we would sacrifice abilities and be forced to limited builds for every frame cause of the lack of slot space. Now, with the addition of Primed and Ability mods, we are headed back to square 1.

Enemies are getting stronger by the update with buffs and new units. Still, there are warframes that, without the majority of defense mods equipped on them, wont last long in the higher tier levels without you having to pull rabbits out of your hat in order to keep them alive. I dont find it fun playing with a frame that requires an amount of defense mods that limits me from adding to their abilities, especially abilities that dont really make a difference in higher tier missions.

Some people say "well, you dont have to use ability or primed mods"... sure, but the enemies arent getting any weaker, and some of the frames have never gotten any stronger.

This of course is just my opinion.

  4. One thing i notice in pvp is that i can run in opposite territory with up to 3 enemies covering it, take the "flag" and run out; and about 8 out of 10 times i will make it out alive unless someone gets me with an instakill ult. Perhaps that is a reason to have 4th powers in pvp... When people are on the move, and can maneuver properly, weapons are not too effective. The game is fast paced.

  5. I believe the Nemesis skin should have been properly tied in to the lore. The fact that it doesnt and that people dont care is one of the reasons why the majority of people playing this game have to clue wtf is going on, they just run around killing. From the name "Tenno," to the first frame "Excalibur" and so on, the lore plays a big role in this game.

Its interesting to me but im not loosing any sleep over people thinking that warframe is just a mindless RnG game. Personally, i think that if the lore was addressed properly, it would have a powerful impact on warframe cause i believe the story, in its entirety, is quite amazing.... far more interesting than a reference to some moons geiser water.

  6. When applying a Conclave sigil, it removes my regular sigil, such as a syndicate sigil. And, visa versa. When re-applying my syndicate sigil, it will remove my conclave sigil. This is on the same warframe basis.

For example, if i choose to use Excal in Conclave CTF, i will have to apply his conclave sigil. This action will remove his syndicate sigil. Then, after i re-apply his syndicate sigil, it will remove his Conclave sigil, and the next time i go in to his Conclave arsenal i will have to re-apply his conclave sigil... and that action removes his syndicate sigil.

  7. Being alone the timer to take over a tower goes a lot faster. i used decoys to distract most enemies and i switch teleported some of them trying to hack tower consoles. other than that it was just a big chase. tower D was the hardest one to capture most of the time cause of all the traffic going through it so a lot of the time id just skip it and go after the other 3 towers.

  8. i was able to solo it with loki and scindo prime. i used the august mesto combo of tempo royale to clear out the enemies after every wave and steel charge worked better than corrosive projection. i found out that specters were more harm than good as they followed me everywhere causing conflicts... it took me quite a few tries as i was trying out different builds but overall it was some of the most fun ive had in warframe yet.

  9. You can solo every mission in the game, with the exception of the raids. Even the toughest of interception missions (even the Phoenix Intercept Escalation). Believe me theres absolutely no necessity to join a squad in anything other than a raid mission, as long as you have the experience, the right frame, weapons and builds for the job. Theres a lot to learn in Warframe but in due time it becomes second nature, and you become a Beast.

Hit me up (if you wish), ill be happy to share how i run my solo missions n enjoy every minute of em.

edit: PS: i hope you stick around, its worth it.

  10. I have some Ideas:

Make him lower damage (so he still does good damage but no more one hits, or guaranteed death slash procs), but much more aggresive in fighting.

Make him more mobile, IE wall running, more movement, better dodging, faster movement speed.

Make his teleport leave a puff of smoke at entry and exit.

Make him manually open/close and lock doors at will, not just all of them when he spawns.

Give him the ability to block and parry melee attacks (but not rediculously like the prosecutors).

Make him more prone to melee fighting that way he's in your face more often.

Give him fast recovery on knockdown, like handspring.

Most of these ideas are buffs rather than additions to his sense of horror. Nevertheless, im all for a good fight.

The Stalker sigil on your screen (with decreased opacity so it doesnt block your view) would be cool upon his entry.
