  1. In alot of MMOs you have the role system the healer the tank and the support

There is no type of role system in this game making me feel like there is no purpose of using any other frame except rhino and that is really Making me think what's the point of all these other frames.

    MY OWN INTERPRETATION.

Feel free to post your thoughts

    No negative comments please

Wow, Dude I have been thinking of these for about a week now!!

I would have posted my concepts for this by now but I have been having internet problems lately.

My concept is a role system based on the aura mods. Like if you use a rejuvenation aura mod you will have a "MEDIC" title by your username.

Like all your roles will be based on what aura mod you use.

I also created a lot of mods for this system, like my aura tank mod. This will give you an aura that give +100 armor to anyone in your aura. This will also give you the title "TANK" by your username.

Other mods are: Energy Siphon - "MONK", Rifle Amp - "Soldier", Dead Eye - "Sniper", Enemy Radar - "Scout", Steel Charge - "Swordsman" and so forth.

I have not posted all of my ideas to the forums yet, but I will soon.

I am going to post the role concepts and a rework to some of the aura mods!

  2. Yea, be ready paying Platinum for clantech weapons just because you wanted to research something different.

Knowing DE, hubs will be half finshed bug fests, that will lack foresight.

No one said they have to be platinum!

By all bets the shops will be credits only!

I am guessing the credits from the shops will go to the clan to help them expand and build new stuff.

Now, if we get to specially customize these weapons then I could plausibly see players spending plat for custom weapons. But in all hopes, "I hope they let us buy weapons with credits and materials. Maybe plat as a side option to these two.

  3. You guys are cry babying about a problem that is none existant. The hub town will fix a lot of problems. The hub town will allow solo players that do not want to join a squad a chance to buy clan tech!

I for one have had this problem lots of times!!!

I am part of a clan that warlord has been since left, because of this I can not get new weapons.

To be honest I am tired of having to join a new clan to get these weapons. I would love to just go to a clan that has already researched these weapons and buy the blueprint or weapon from them.

As far as hub towns go, I love the idea!!!

    Warframe is an Action-RPG!

We have all the action now we just need the rpg-elements!

The creation of hub town will help this game transition from being a menu based mission game to being a full rpg-world based game!!!

I am in favor of the HUBS!!!!

PS What you posted was seriously pessimistic.

  4. One question. "How professional should this be?"

Do you want professional 3d model - skins (textures)? (and if so: where do we get the 3d models to design the skins around?)

Will you accept amateur art, that will give you an impression of the skins? (for inspiration)

Do you want true textures that you would be able to instantly apply to the game?

What do you want, how do you want it?

  5. What do you think about adding Radiation damage to all the Corpus weapons (except Flux/Spectra)? I would certainly help make the Corpus more deadly in missions (like the Detron Crewmen), as well as make the weapons super effective against Grineer.

Adding radiation to laser weapons is a little to limiting. I like to put fire on my weapons and with radiation as a default I would not be able to put fire on my weapon. So as far as putting base elemental damage on plasma weapons, its a no no! We need to just keep the base physical damage and add the elemental later. This will allow for more customization.

Oh, yeah I been though of this a long time ago, but this liked it because it would limit customization.

  6. That statement seems ludicrous to me, Gorgon and Supra are frikkin' awesome at 5 forma. Every time I get to even level 70 enemies, those guns still wreck faces and inflict procs all over the place, they're excellent support weapons at the very least.

I'm convinced people's playstyles drastically affect their views of a weapon.

No... Its not that. Its just maddening when you put work into a weapon to get very little out.

  7. Well we really just need a general rebalance of endless content. Weapons are actually fairly balanced up to about level 60, but when people scale past that problems start to happen.

My 5 forma Gorgon fall off on Saturn survival after 20 minutes. Its not a good feeling at all when you spend so much on a weapon and get something mediocre at best. Its really saddening.

  8. Here's the real problem. Instead of buffing everything up to par, we need to fix enemy scaling and endgame so absurdly powerful weapons aren't required. A bit of buffing/nerfing/general balance is probably also something we need, but enemy scaling and endless content is the true problem here.

Well, that was my original thought. The boltor prime would need to be nerfed to 35 damage, the soma to 2x crit damage, and the enmeies would need 50% nerf in damage and health. Last those crazy-stupid aura need removing.

  9. Sup! Maybe you have seen me around the forums before, if so this is nothing new "I love LMGs and Miniguns. This is the truth. These weapon types are the only reason I play warframe, and that the honest truth.

I have noticed recently, we keep getting a lot of weapons we don't need.

We just got the Akzani but we already have plenty of dual machine pistols (also the akzani are a carbon-copy of all the other machine pistols, which are puncture based). Also we just got that new dagger that no one cares about.

So... whats the problem? Well, we need more of the weapons people care about! "What's that," you may wonder. Well, "We need more of the BIG GUNS!" As of now we only have 4 LMG/Miniguns. These are primary weapons. These are the weapons we want and need. Not more auto pistols or weak melee weapon that no one will care about.

Also, if you use these weapons or read the forums you will these weapons are in a terrible state. The only ones that scale properly are the soma and the supra. The Gorgon minigun is... Weak!!

I use this weapon a lot but it does not scale well. I like to run survival missions, but the Gorgon and Gorgon Wraith fall off between 15-20 minutes. The second problem is "just to get it to this level it requires 5 forma!!!" Yes, that's right, 5 forma will give you a mediocre weapon at best! My soma only requires 2 forma and it blows the Gorgon and Gorgon wraith away. And what about the Supra.. its the same way! It requires 5 forma to get it to being half of what the Soma is. Now from what I have seen the Soma was Op, but with the new enemy scaling it is not Op anymore. The Soma is now balanced because enemy difficulty is now scaling.

The main argument "We need more high tier LMGs and Miniguns.

    Now for some reworks!

Also the Gorgon, Gorgon Wraith, and Supra all need a buff and a rank adjustment. The Supra is a rank 7 weapon but it is less than the Soma, which is rank 6.

    Here are the reworks:

    Gorgon

Problems: Not enough damage, magazine size does not justify the long 4.2 second reload, ammo pool not large enough, firerate is too low for a minigun. Real minigun firerates are around 50 rounds per second. A 20 firerate for the gorgon will suffice (that's almost half a real minigun).

Last, the low accuracy is not balanced with the damage output mixed with the firerate. There is no reason for the gorgon to have such low accuracy (8.3) shooting low damage rounds (23) at such a low firerate (12.5). This low accuracy needs to be justified with either a higher damage output, a higher firerate or both.

    Recommended Buff

Damage:                25   | Slight Damage increase

Firerate:                 20   | Firerate will make it a little minigun

Magazine size:      200 | Better sustained fire

    Ammo Pool:           800 | 4x magazines

This buff will give the Gorgon increased damage by increasing its firerate and magazine capacity.

    Gorgon Wraith

Problems: Not enough damage (to justify it being a wraith weapon). "Remember the Boltor jumped for 24 damage to 55 with its Prime edition. That's a 30 damage increase. The Gorgon Wraith does not require such a buff, but it should be more powerful than the Soma or on the same level!

The other problems are the same as the Gorgon.

    Recommended Buff

Damage:                 35   | This will make it an endgame weapon on the level of the Soma and Boltor Prime.

Firerate:                  25   |  Minigun Theme - will increase damage

Magazine size:       250  | Sustained fire

Ammo Pool:         1000  |  4x magazine, Balance firerate, Premium weapon

    Supra

Problems: Projectile speed is so low the supra must be used at close range (speed 40). The boltor flight speed is 65 and the Boltor prime projectile speed is 80. The 35 damage is good. Needs a higher magazine capacity to justify the long reload.

    Recommended Buff

Damage:                 35          | The base damage of 35 is good.

Firerate:                  15          |  Projectile weapons do not perform well with high firerates. 15 is balanced for minigun

Magazine size:       150        |  Sustained damage. Justify 4.2 reload.

    Ammo pool:            600        | 5x magazines

Projectile speed:      65         | Give the Supra mid-range capability.

    Supra Vandal

    Recommended Buff

Damage:                  45          | The base damage will put this weapon on par with the Boltor prime.

Firerate:                   20          | Projectile speed increase justify the firerate increase.

    Magazine size:       200

Ammo pool:            800        | 4x magazines, Premium Weapon

Projectile speed:      75         | Give Supra Vandal enhanced mid-range capability.

  10. I just want a 200 round magazine buff for the Gorgon and Supra alike. Now the Gorgon wraith have a 10.5 accuracy and 25 damage so save your buffs for accuracy and damage for a Supra Vandal.

    Supra Vandal

    45 damage

    13 firerate

    17.1 Accuracy

    3.0 reload

    200 rounds

Post your ideas for a Supra Vandal.

  11. Tenno,

Please take a look at the coming changes to Oberon and his powers in the next major Warframe update (hopefully this week on PC!). It’s worth noting that all the listed details below are subject to change. Please feel free to discuss these within this thread.

    Armor:

    - Oberon’s base Armor increased to 150.

    Smite:

    - Projectiles that are spawned after impact seek-to-target, not just spawned in direction.

    - Speed up projectiles by 50%.

    - Forced Radiation proc on the initial target.

    - Forced Knock-down on initial target instead of stumble.

    - Forced Puncture proc on all enemies hit.

    Hallowed Ground:

    - Allies within Hallowed Ground can not be proc’ed.

    - Hallowed Ground will remove all existing procs from Allies.

    - Armour boosted by 5/10/15/20% per rank for all Allies with Hallowed Ground, with stacking being explored on multiple casts.

    Renewal:

    - Switch to toggle ability with smaller base cost and energy per second active drain. All Renewal benefits occur when projectile reaches target ally.

    - Boost Heal amount 200/250/300/400 per rank.

    - When target is fully healed, remove proc effects.

    - Allies bleeding out are affected by Renewal in that bleedout will be slowed. 20/25/35/45% per rank as well as affected by duration mods.

    Reckoning:

    - Forced Radiation Proc added to damage on targets.

    - Small radial blind added to slam impact, but only for enemies that survive the damage of the cast. This radial blind will be applied to enemies that move into range after it’s been cast and are blinded by the impact of those being slammed by Reckoning!

    Thank you for reading!

    YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He is now a light tank like I always wanted him to be!!!

I love everything and can not wait to use him. Perfect!

  12. Enemy Radar, and Enemy Sense.

No one uses these mods, but I can say "they are the greatest!"

"I don't even touch energy siphon anymore!" :D

They are very helpful on survival mission because it will show you where the enemies are at so you can get more life support. Also it is fun killing whole mobs of enemies before your team because they don't have a clue.

Enemy Radar is for when you want to share. Enemy Sense is for when you want to hog all the kills. XD

Also these mods are good for stealth.

You can see them easily: whole mobs of enemies clustered in small tunnel-halls with no where to go. Then I deviously let lose on them with my 1.2 punch-through 5x forma Supra. I clear whole corridors without my squad know whats going on, where to go, where to kill, and so forth...!

I get 50% of the kills alone on average using these mods.  XD

  13. I figured that's what they were for but I feel like that's just a really low bar.

    ...

I love our level designs. ....

Coming back to the game and seeing these blank, empty dead-ends felt like a step backwards.

If any level designers read this, not to offend but to inform. <3

Yeah, I totally understand you. I wish sometimes we had outside grineer ships landing and letting off grineer, but these spawn rooms are pretty good. You have to remember these grineer galleon ship are enoumous, and we are fighting in a small part of them.

But what I do think is these rooms could have a little  more life to them. Like it would be cool if the grineer galleon ship had an intercom system that tells grineer to move into the sector of the ship we are in. I think something like that would be more immersive instead of us just having a dead blank room than enemies randomly come out of. Last, these map are generated through procedural generation.

But either way, they are pretty good to me, I like em.

  14. The supra is just a terrible weapon. It has a high reload time, no crit, no damage, no status, no accuracy, bad ammunition economy. It should get buffed alot before it makes sense to use it for high level runs.

You have to use to understand it. It is good for mob clearing. It get its damage from sustained fire. And even with the low crits it is mighty good! It hits like a Bus.
