Not really. When I first joined, the game was actually quite notorious for having enemies that were relatively spongy. Because we didn't have corrupted mods or the Forma system back then, the game was actually quite tactical.

Yeah WAAAY back, but now its not that anymore, its become nothing but a kill fest and the difficult stuff gets made easier and easier because ppl cant adapt.

There's already been balance passes on both weapons and warframes in the past. So IDK what you're trying to get at here lol. Balance also does not mean changing warframe from a horde shooter to something more like CoD. You can have a game like Warframe and attempt to keep things relatively balanced. Obviously if a MR25 goes to mercury they're going to melt everything. Just like if a level 80 anything in an MMO goes to that's game's starting area, everything is going to die quickly. That's how progression works.

So in that sense, spending the time to make a strong weapon is also progression and now ppl want them to be "punished" for making that kind of progress and having a fairly strong weapon, what ppl are crying for is a straight up NERF not a balance.

Balance applies to ALL video games single player, co-op or otherwise. If it was impossible to win at Pac-Man because the ghosts were 10 times faster than the player and could move through walls, it would be unbalanced and not fun, and just because the mod system can make OP weapons and trivialize content doesn't mean they can't be balanced around that system for the time being. You still argue like I'm calling for catchmoon to be nerfed. I'm just trying to get through that balance matters. No exceptions.

Well Guess what, its never gonna happen in warframe no matter how much ppl beg for balance. It always been a part of warframe to press one button and nuke a whole map. Its always been the gamestyle of warframe to just one shot everything in a fast paced manner, if they change that in any shape or form do you know what will happen? Thats right, it wont be warframe anymore.

Yes, it is. If you actually read that page, you would see this:

"Multi Dynamic Games Group Inc. and Perfect Online Holding Limited will acquire 58% and 3% respectively"

Perfect World (by way of its subsidiary) owns three percent of shares in the company. DE was not bought by Perfect World.

It was still bought out by a different company, Multi Dynamic Games Group. If its PWE or not dont matter at this point.

this completely idiotic stance, and the fact this guy got so many upvotes is what makes me dislike the WF community, and lose hope in this game's longevity (for me). cuz if the majority of the community doesnt want balance and meaningful endgame content, then DE won't offer that service. just look at the pathetic state of Conclave, Arbitrations and ESO.

have a look at The Division, which is also a looter shooter. balance is very important in its PVE, and the game is incredibly fun as a result. for example, why would I want anything else but the kitgun, when it's 1-shotting lvl 120's? broken-ness removes variety from the game. Division 2 and Anthem will LIKELY take pve/coop balance very seriously, and WF will bleed a lot of players next spring if the community and DE espouse this idiotic attitude.

The moment you brought Division and Anthem into this you already lost. Warframe has plenty of balance, im not saying dont balance it, just dont be so damn anal about it in a pve game, its supposed to be fun and warframes fun has always been killing everything in the map as fast as possible, thats always been a thing and it'll always be like that even if they do nerf kitguns. Besdies, getting to the point where you actually meet 120+ enemies, takes awhile anyway, its quite the grind.

Because in multiplayer games, when people abuse OP weapons, their fun becomes the reason the rest of the team/players aren't having any, at that point you can ask yourself, is it better to have 3 people not having any fun so that one guy can? or have one guy upset for some period of time to please more players. Do we want everyone to be using the same weapon because the rest of the stuff we make available to them just can't compete? Or should we make certain weapons good at certain tasks while being bad/ok at others to create an interesting variety and maybe even require a smidge of thought when selecting a loadout.

That doesnt apply to someone who plays solo only so no, still rather have them not nerf stuff to the ground because of some ppl in pugs getting outkilled.

I think its to do with the old problem of content being too easy, thanks to the insane levels of power attainable. Maybe OP is saying that giving players access to weapons like this is just exacerbating the problem?

I mean, how long can it stay fun to massacre hordes of enemies, with little to no effort?

Games that aren't challenging in some way tend to lose their appeal after a while...for me certainly.

As long as they dont change the broken mod system, that problem will never go away and as long as they dont, im gonna enjoy murdering hordes of enemies. Thats what warframe is about.

I really flipping hate when people bring this thing up. You talk about letting people enjoy things, when the guy is literally talking about how this is taking away from his enjoyment of the game

Cooperation stands for working together, which means you need to provide enough things for everyone to do something. This requires balance. Why is this so hard to understand

And why is it so hard to understand that my enjoyment is gonna be taken away from something if it gets nerfed to the ground? It goes both ways.

Now, I indeed understand that rivens add immense power to the game. They needed a nerf. However, the rivens I bought last week is now worthing less then half and I just sold my sweeper riven for 50p because I didnt know you decided to remove it and I can't even play fortuna cuz I try to earn my plat back I am totally disappointed. You Hyped us to lose plat? No thanks. I wish this update never came

Is that all? You only play WF to "earn" plat? Then please, go ahead and be dissappointed, a tip: dont be so entitled. No one forced you to spend thousands of plat on some bandaid system that no one really needed. Hopefully the ridicilous price ideas of some ppl and their "GOD TIER" mods will settle down a bit. Good riddance.

  10. Here

See the link I posted, recently after Chimera update, my colors have been kinda weird. Like seen on the screenshot the blue line that sentinels do when they use the Shield Recharge is in a weird shade of blue now even though it should be a brighter one?

Also I cannot see the line reaching out of the eidolon lures anymore when they lure in eidolons. Or Vombalysts when they get shot once and transition into their "spectre" form, the animation is just gone.

    Howzit, PC Tenno!

Our 'earliest' launch date for Fortuna was mentioned on the Devstream to be November 1st with a likelihood of expanding to 'early November', but I'm here to tell you it's not happening today.

Typically things get a bit...louder when an update like Fortuna is soon.

    Roger roger?

P.S we did some Press in advance which mentioned the chance Garuda wouldn't make the Update. She WILL be launching with Fortuna!

Thats why im sure everyone would appreciate just not saying anything at all until you guys are actually 100% sure its gonna drop. Just makes everyone sad tbh if news like this arise.

Nonsense. Mr. Karris, hype factor 7. Engage.

Also, hype tends to happen spontaneously, whether DE wills it or not. People hype themselves up as we get closer to release.

Nah they do it intentionally everytime, best example those "Where is?" Patch Threads, getting us all hyped and curious just to delay it more and more.

So the Paracesis, the weapon you got from Chimera Prologue (well the blueprint) have a cost of a whopping 1k Ducats

Lets be real, No one would spend that much ducats to get that weapon... Even it have some sort of power to defeat sentients

This is a unique case when you are putting a currency into a crafting cost. Ducats are not easy to get, after the new relic system and not old void keys. Ducats fodder is harder and harder to get since you only get 1 prime item per Relics (Taking the Relic Farm can takes 5 Minutes on average) it would take around 335 Minutes or 6 Hours and 35 Minutes getting relics and come up with worse case scenario of getting Commons (Not counting the time opening relics cause it depends on missions).

Lets put it this way. If DE comes up with a New Shotgun, and you need to use 50plat as crafting cost, would you do it? Its pretty much the same. You can earn Ducats and Platinum.

Either make the Ducats cost atleast 200 (Yes I'm not spending more than 2 rare parts for a single and possibly an MR Fodder weapon) or Change it to use Nitain or Argon instead.

Ducats SHOULD NOT be in a Crafting Recipe, THEY HAVE VALUE!

I will spend that much, who cares. Speak for yourself.

You can still be from the EU.. AND be an idiot.

You're not making much of a case otherwise.

All I said is 1) his kit isn't perfect and 2) it's stupid for anyone to say "yeah but he hasn't been broken LONG ENOUGH yet"

If that's a typical American response then take a lesson. It'd be nice if anyone, regardless of country of origin, actually thought about what they said. You seem to think that what.. Natural Talent fixes (spoilers: it doesn't) the many threads objectively pointing out problems and conflicts within his kit? That's putting your head in the sand and then asking for MORE sand.

We have a new frame who has a major mechanic (thralls) being completely countered by his own ulti. This, in the wake of trying to make new frames and revisited frames have synergy within their kits, is not passing the sniff test to many people. Us trying to point out what makes us unhappy within the kit isn't being whiney. It isn't something fixed by Natural Talent. It's caring about the game and giving feedback.

Warframe didn't get to where it is by people keeping their head in the sand.

Lmao, no. OP is only complaining mainly about the  cast speed. And thats all I commented about so dont sit there and give me some lecture. His kit is fine, the majority of ppl can play him properly and dont see an issue with him. Tweaking? Sure. But asking for a REWORK? Nah. Thats not how this works. Most of the "feedback" I see on this forum is mainly nitpicking and tiny issues that literally dont matter and are just a waste of time. This is one of them.
