  1. "Are you really that lazy?" Is what i got as response when i suggested this a while back. I would really like to see such a system implimented, as it would atleast make leechers a "bit" more helpful. Lets face it, NOBODY goes with his freshly formad weapon on mercury and starts killing lvl 1 enemies, then works his way up the levels as his weapon gains ranks. Everyone uses the leeching system, hoping his teammates kill as many as possible. While this isnt a problem in the meta-repfarming thats going on currently, it gets a problem once there is one guy completely useless on Cerberus, getting downed all the time and cannot defend himself as he chose to bring 3 unranked weapons and probably an unranked frame aswell with him to leech off of his teammates. Yes, he would be useless at beginning, but levels come fast, and once theres a base dmg mod , e.g. Serration on it, he becomes increasingly useful.

  2. I think DE is just trolling us with status chance mods at this point. Wanna know why I think this?

     

    DE releases completely new Archwing mode. Makes status mods for it: +60% Status chance, 9 cost at max rank. Still better than the ones for the regular weapons though.

     

    Month later, exclusive event mods-> 60% Status + 60% Fire damage, 7 cost at max rank.

    They also release Melee electrical mod with 60% damage at max rank, same as Shocking touch. Community roars, they buff it to 120% fairly quickly, but still IGNORE Shocking touch. I really think they dont give a damn about mod balance and follow a slight adjusted scorched earth strategy. But this way, they hurt US. Its like we are the enemy.

  3. IMO, Rakta Ballistica is the most useless weapon they offered on most syndicates next to Telos Akbolto.

    You are aware that Telos Akbolto have a max of 500 DPS unmodded? You can always click faster, or just bind to mouse wheel scroll down/up. Also, the AoE explosion, despite being Gas, which is the most horrible damage type there is, it still procs Gas on each and every enemy you hit, meaning a group will get annihilated, the bigger the group, the more damage it will do. Also, the DoT is delicious.

  4. An event over Christmas AND new years eve is a pretty bad move. I wont play from the 23rd to 27th, leaves me with the big question, will i be able to even finish the event when i miss out on so much? Im pretty sure many people wont play over that timespan aswell or have very little time to play, because its Christmas and they simply have plans IRL. So, will i be able to finish the event, e.g. get 15 points, even when not being able to play 5 days?

Pretty sure either DE wants it to destroy the relay, in that case no matter how many people try to prevent that from happening, it will still be destroyed, or they dont want to destroy it, in that case they will speed up the destruction manually. They wont leave it completely up to the players, because they have to plan ahead.

I'm hoping that currently they're more focused on implementing cool ideas (which they've done a fantastic job with), and later will do a complete overhaul of the numbers themselves that will bring everything closer in line to where it should be without the drastic range of difference in numbers (weapons are far worse than Warframes in this regard, with some being essentially nothing but Mastery fodder).

    I have to disagree. Sure, not everything DE did and does is bad, but look at the Kubrow system. Kubrows are still way inferior to a Sentinel, and cost you way more. There are still issues with their AI, major issues. Then theres the 3 hour recovery time that kicks you in the balls if you actually want to use different Kubrows for different Missions.

    Then theres Archwing. It just feels outright rushed. The gameplay is beyond boring after the 3rd run, the way you get weapons is just horrible, essentially prime parts all over again, with one layer RNG removed.

    I do believe a Dev (not sure who exactly) himself said that they blindly rush out content. And i agree. They are basically digging a tunnel, a small narrow one that isnt fleshed out, and dispose of the dirt behind them, out of sight, out of mind. But we, the players, keep getting stuck in that narrow tunnel and keep falling over the dirt DE left us with. The tunnel is the advancement and the new implimentations, the dirt is the imbalance, the inconsistency and the flaws in their system. Alltogether, i think DE would need more than one update to remove the dirt completely.

  7. Alright, Synoid Gammacor..... First off, this is NOT a OMG OP NERF thread, i actually think that SG is fine, as its high damage is counteracted by the limited range and the fact that its a continuous weapon, and we all know those are kinda broken. BUT im talking about why the SG has 75/375 ammo, EXACTLY the same as Braton prime?? SG has 2 base fire rate and is a secondary, BP has 9.6 fire rate and is a primary. What were you thinking guys?? And yet Wraith twin vipers, the weapon with the highest fire rate in game, being 25, still has laughable 210 ammo pool. DE, i cannot stress this enough, what you need is consistency and balance.

  8. i suggest you ppl saying it dosent need a nerf actually check its stats over at warframe build...

    it is currently BY FAR the strongest gun in the entire game... and thats without takeing into considereation that it has the extra radial dmg + buff + enegy restore...

     

    this thing NEEDS a serious nerf...

    Do you people all forget it has limited range AND is a continuous weapon, which performs poorly by default since the "fix" (nerf) DE gave to that type of weapon? It is a great weapon when it comes to single target, but because of how continuous fire behaves, you cant sweep it over a crowd and expect everyone to be dead. I kill crowds faster with Marelok or even Lex prime.

  9. so i was looking at the warframe builder to see which weapon is the best

    so i compared the usual suspects (Bolter paris dread opticor phage and so on)

     

    and currently its the synoid gammacore... and not by a little bit but by a HUGE leap

     

    i looked at both total dmg sustained DPS and burst DPS

    and only a handfull of primeries was better in 1 catagory and the torid (belive it or not) was the closest match

     

    Torid (best overall main weapon)

    total dmg : 25113

    burst DPS : 47716

    sustained DPS : 22297

     

    Phage (best substained DPS aside Torid)

    total dmg : 8824

    burst DPS : 24708

    sustained DPS : 21674

     

    Boar Prime (best burst DPS)

    total dmg : 3512

    burst DPS : 50934

    substained DPS : 15801

     

    Opticor (best total dmg)

    total dmg : 50227

    burst DPS : 23849

    substained DPS : 20042

     

     

    so best main weapons have

    total dmg : 50227

    burst DPS : 50934

    substained DPS : 22297

     

     

    Synoid Gammacor (and this is WITHOUT the radial explosion)

    total dmg : 7299

    burst DPS : 47006

    substained DPS : 40117

     

     

    so overall the synoid gammacor is FAR better then eny primary gun currently in the game...

    and to add insult to injury it also has FAR better ammo efficiency then most other weapons and is easy to use..

     

    and before ppl start saying "but it only have 25m range"

    well so does the other streaming weapons (exept quanta) and only one other streaming weapon made the top 10 in eny category... and non of them have good ammo effeciency or a radial dmg + buff + enegy restore...

     

     

    basicly the synoid gammacor need a SERIOUS beating with the nerf hammer...

    So what? Secondaries have been always better than primaries. Prime example, Marelok and Grinlok. Just NO.

  10. I would love to use that sort of shotgun in Warframe.

     

    But here's the problem. I'm getting more and more convinced that DE is simply not giving a damn about shotguns. And it's getting frustrating.

    We're bringing this up at least a few times per week for a few months already. It feels like being ignored.

    Ask about it on devstream? We get nothing solid.

    I remember Scott saying that they'll look at it in a devstream. It was before the Liset update, if not earlier. Nothing since then.

    We get an overpriced confetti gun and that's about it.

     

    I'm all for new shotguns and more importantly buffing all the shotguns in general, but at this rate it feels irrelevant.

    Most games hate shotguns. Theres very few games that do shotguns right and make them feel good. All we can do is ask for it again and again, so maybe something will come sooner than later. They also promised shotgun buff IIRC, so theres that.

  11. Corrupted Vor would occasionally bug, getting instantkilled without dropping anything. On Defense and Interception missions, this blocks advancement as the game still thinks hes alive. Both missions have to be quit, as they wont offer the options to extract or continue on. This is a very frustrating issue, as it makes you loose everything you earned in that mission by being forced to quit. It existed since the very implimentation, has been brought up multiple times, and still no fix. It is long overdue.

  12. Reflex Guard, Shield Flux, Sure Footed, Fortitude. You're fine. I play Nekros too. I do just fine up unless I'm playing a long survival.

    Implying anyone on this planet that still has to max other useful R10 mods like hornet strike, blind rage etc, has even looked at reflex guard for one, save to say has it on a reasonable fusion level that its actually useful. I know i dont.

  13. Explain why you can't just go inside the bubble and kill them like any other enemy type? I mean, as soon as I see a Nullifier I pull out of melee weapon. Preferably one with high status chance like the Serro.

    Because enemies usually crowd up in those, and you cant just facetank lvl 30+ corpus enemies shooting at you, because nullifier field, if you hadnt noticed, also purges each and every defensive buff you have on yourself. Good luck getting in and out of such a bubble and survive.

  14. The Kohm has an interesting function, that with every shot you do while holding the trigger down, the next shot will shoot double that amount, up to a max of 10 bullets per shot.. The glaring problem is, that each additional bullet consumes 1 extra ammo. That means, it will use 1 ammo at first shot, 2 ammo at second, 4 ammo at third, 8 ammo at fourth, 10(whyever) at fifth and ever after. Problem is obvious, insane ammo drain. And what do we get to deal with that ammo drain? 960 max ammo. What? Still only 10 shotgun ammo from pickup? Are you even listening what many people said about weapons like Glaxion, Grakata, Twin vipers? Increasing the max ammo pool is not how you deal with insane ammo drain. You last a bit longer, but then you can still forget the weapon for the next 20 waves/minutes. That is NO way to go.

    Suggestion: Now IF the Kohm had a decent base damage, lets say X, that is spread over Y pellets, and every continuous shot would add another Z pellets at the cost of one extra ammo, that would be something. Because you could still go single-shot and do some damage with it. But 15 base damage? No way DE. (X,Y and Z are obviously to be replaced with actual values, i just didnt want to get people to discuss the values i made up of nothing and how they are broken, happened often enough)
