  1. True Punishment Melee mod doesnt seem to work anymore.

    Both true punishment and quickening used to be channeling mods and now are listed as just melee. I assume that means they should just work.  True punishment doesnt seem to work or at least doesnt update the stat. But quickening does so idk what the difference is.

    Also Parry and Corrupt Charge both are still listed as channeling mods

So has anyone else put in a support ticket recently and had to wait a ridiculous amount of time for a response?  specifically a account related ticket.  Sorry to ask on here but idk where else to go bc I have one in and its been almost 2 weeks since i heard from the auto response system and coming up on a month for a real response.

    So this is a full weapon set in one weapon its a boomerang and a rifle and a pistol all in one basically they combine to be a kind of robot thing idk how this works it wasnt "confirmed" just show for an example of the development process

     

  4. So I went to tennocon and have been looking around the forums for all the news that came out of it and haven't seen nearly as much posted as was shown. All my pictures were taken on my phone whose lighting was acting up so sorry if the quality isn't that great.   So I will post everything I got pics of and what the devs said about it.  Obviously Plains and umbra were the 2 huge reveals but some of the little things are quite nice as well.

    If I am missing anything please add to this or correct me if I am wrong

    New Kusarigama player designed weapon was shown and was working on the dev build there the stats are "ok" as of right now not much crit or stat with about even damage across impact, slash, and puncture.  Also no fire animation or damage that I could find other than the blade itself.

    Sentient outpost builder described as a shrip and it gobbles up asteroids and refines them to make the outpost.  So i would guess at least grineer Galleon size if not bigger.

    But I agree, they really oughta focus their time on the current frames and their problems as well as some parts of the damage system.

The YouTube trailer for plains had summer 2017 in the description it has since been removed but that whole 17 min video is gameplay not some buggy partial tidbit it looks playable right now if they have a quest generation system up.  Other than bug fixing and quest generation we saw alot of the systems work I'm betting it will be with hydroid or close to it for release

    Yes it takes outside the normal places to get frames but to say it would "influence the game" is a bit of a reach he is obtainable ingame already as well as many players already have him.

    As to people who are pissed they had to pay to get him and now hes free he was always free. WF is  a pay to rush game you pay prime access so you dont have to farm and build frame, you "pay" for twitch prime so you don't have to wait to farm and build him.

    I both farmed him out when he was available and bought the prime vault (for the cosmetics) and i don't see it as an issue.  Frost prime especially bc he is a important frame to have for most players and he isn't available currently or in the near future (excluding this of course).  Similarly if anyone does have an issue with this frost prime rerelease then i feel like they would have an issue with any unvaulting pack that comes out as well bc someone farmed or payed for the original release

  9. why not @Zanchakits similar to prime access pay money get frame instantly.  yes there is a free trial but some people have used it for other things that have come out through the same program.  It is also another set towards twitch integration that DE has talked about in the past. People that have twitch prime but dont have warframe may check it out bc they have a shiny new thing and a free frame to start with.

  10. The idea is simple just add in a bps on the market that uses a reactor to make a catalyst and one that uses a catalyst to make a reactor. Obviously using other "rare" resources and a completed potato in the conversion process. The reasoning behind this is simple if a player is active the time between needing a reactor and needing a catalyst are different. After awhile a player only needs reactors when new content comes out or they finally farm out that prime they have been farming for the last 2 weeks. But in that time they have had the opportunity to get maybe 3 potatoes (blue or gold). Meaning eventually you build up a stockpile of gold potatoes thus a need for a converter to deplete this stockpile.  Thoughts?

    4. Why you want to join Gryphus Tech in particular. (Something that other clans don't have): looking for a active clan with voice chat ppl to run with and talk with about anything and everything.  The commander/ section concept sound interesting InObscuro was trying to impliment something like it but went inactive b4 it could be fully implimented and solar rails gave out too.

  12. I cant remember where glenn said to send clipping issuses but here are a few it was an infested alert if that has anything to do with it.  The grineer text was floating off the wall and could only be viewed one way.  Like a one way mirror.

  13.           I have been looking through a variety of forums recently and have seen a trend.  People ask for a "challenge" in warframe.  It ranges from make harder/new enemies or AI to fix scaling and buff/nerf this or that.  But can any one of these things actually make warframe "challenging"?

     

              DE has given us a variety of challenging enemies over the last year and a bit new enemies, new game modes, and a variety of mission objectives.  We as a community have learned and adapted as these came out and cheesed our way through all of it one way or another.  

         

              This isn't because DE can't make a challenge.  It's because they have done such a good job of giving us a diverse tool set.  Each warframe has unique (or semi unique) abilities or attributes that can be used in all sorts of different ways.  We as a community find the best fit for a problem (mission or enemy) they provide us with the tools (warframes and weapons)we have.  

     

              Every new or semi challenging mission, alert or item can be completed/obtained through time dedication and plates. So without completely remaking the game how do you create "challenge"?

     

              As I said before peoples solutions for this is re-balance weapons, warframes or enemies.  But that wont do anything as for creating "challenge".  If you rebalance weapons they are either OP or obsolete.  If you re-balance Warframes... well we have seen what they have been doing to warframes.  They may help with specific problems or niches but those slots are replaced with other warframes or teams of warframes.  Therefore its a shifting solution with no end result.  If you re-balance enemies then you end up with the same issue as with weapons op or obsolete enemies

    .  

            My point is this craving for "challenge" is not or can not be met by DE.  They have done too good a job making warframes and giving us variety to challenge us we have a tool for every job they try to throw at us.  PROPS DE

     

            My Question is as I said: How does DE without completely remaking the game create a "challenge" for its players?

     

            My A​nswer is simple it can't. De can't create the challenge. People want a problem with no solution or one most people cant achieve.  In this game people need to set their own standards. Set their own goals to make a challenge.  For one person a challenge may be the daily sortie another 40 min in T4 Survival and yet another 3 Hrs in T4 Survival.  My solution to this problem is to create a challenge.

     

           Thoughts?

So to start things off I like the new stalker with immunity and the new abilities he has the potential to be challenging.  But I do think he need a tad bit of hit box work seeing as he can going into tight spaces and tp you in and you cant get past him to move around, dodge or fight him.  example: the corpus tunnels on most corpus maps he takes up more room than other mobs so you cant pass him if he is it and you want to get past him.  It is a minor thing but i feel its unfair to tp a poor tenno into a corner and pummel him without the potential of escape. Anyone else thoughts on the new stalker good or bad?

  15. I was discussing weapons and improvements with my clan the other day and put out the idea for the weapons that are in a build path (IE. Latron into Tiberon) Should have a logo on them such as the elixis mods where shows this is a weapon to be used in the construction of another weapon. This would allow new players to plan the build paths easier.  There should also be an extra dialog box for when selling the weapons to warn that it is a weapon that can be used to build another.  Similarly there should be some display system of the build paths in the market so that players can actually see they need both x and y weapons to build the weapon they are viewing.
