  1. It was rigged from the start. I'm pretty sure we could have never attacked them and the event would have ended the same way. DE isn't confirming or denying anything when it's brought up and a lot of those early relays going down (Like earth? Everyone has earth unlocked. If you have a wing, you at least have earth.) are just absolute nonsense.

  2. Look at the raging poor people and adjust your monocle, then your plat cufflinks, and -only- then should you toss a single plat at them in pity for their entertainment. Any clown who puts on a show at your being a member of the bourgeoisie has earned the single piece from the stockpile.

...that is, if they have the credits to accept it.

    ANYWAY.

People who yell at me for having something on the day it comes out? I just giggle. Ignore and move on. And/Or take a bit of schadenfreude in the fact that they'll need to farm for months to get it.

What if they just made the price like 7.5k and moved it to the Tier 2 syndicate rewards and put T3 keys in the 5k Tier 1 syndicate rewards slot?

No, no, and no. Keep it like it is for now, we still have more pressing matters to deal with. The trade economy would TANK if everyone had easy access to T3 keys.

  4. Before anyone questions my archwing game...

So yea, I might archwing a lot. The Odonata is freshly forma'd and I have the Onorix/Dual Decurion cooking now.

The only reason to do the fomorians more than once is the sheer amount of mobs that spawn and thus the increased chance at Tellurium drops. Even then a decent interception will usually score more of that! Don't get me wrong, I've used on average 5-10 keys per fomorian because of clanmates and friends. But there is no real incentive other than imagining Vay Hek screaming in rage every time his oversized laser pointer gets a miniature dent.

That's another thing: I really don't feel like I'm doing -anything- to these things. Be it 1 million damage or 11, the result is exactly the same. Feels like I'd only done .001% of a damage and that kinda kills the hero mood. The only thing I'm clinging to is the (eventual) rewards and helping friends get it done.

  5. An actual sense of accomplishment, other than 'GUD JOB YOU DID .001% OF A DAMAGE!' If the relays were worth more than just being an MMO hub hotspot, if the keys weren't single use, and if more of the playerbase actually had decent archwings...we wouldn't have this issue.

    Worst event yet.

'Farm a mission that takes a bare minimum of 20 minutes to have anything to really show for it, then craft these single use keys, then shoot at a core for 30 seconds! Now do it again! And again! You're totally saving the world guys!'

I'm getting tired of rezzing Johny B. Scrub every time he decides to sit in front of a laser and get destroyed by the mobs. I'm getting tired of dealing millions of damage to a fomorian only to see it did absolutely NOTHING. I'm...just tired of this. Give me my fancy weapon and let the relay burn for all I care. They're a waste of space anyway.

  6. There is no real incentive to defend these relays more than once. Yes, the rewards are fancy...but if you can only score one point per relay, it's hard to justify burning more disruptors. In the end the balance of the universe will remain the same, albeit with less of these MMO hubs.

DE might get the message of 'We don't care about your event' from the vast majority of the playerbase. And to be honest I'm kinda getting there myself. Feeling burned out after 30 keys and there has only been -3- points possible. I'm just here to get my 15 (if it's even possible) and leave the rest to who-ever wants to take up the slack.

If the punishment for failing an event is something like less void trader visits? Boo hoo. It's only going to hurt the public opinion on the game.

  7. I'm tempted to post a picture of my stratos badge just to rub it in.

All in all, these tactical alerts are used to experiment with ideas and to keep us busy between major updates. Keeping vets and new players alike entertained with difficulties. That and everyone loves free stuff. Yes, I would love to stomp most tactical alerts with a pimped out weapon set. Yes, I have voiced...verbose rage at the conclave limiting. But then I got over the petty nonsense and decided to enjoy the fancy badge.

Bottom line is 'If you don't like the content, don't do it. Or complain on the forums.'
