  1. Has a Guardian effect with either no cooldown or a very short re-cast time. You guys can easily test it yourselves. Don't equip Guardian...(I feel like a commercial; don't jump off a bridge everyone watching this obviously fake demonstration!)

This appears to be false. I've done multiple tests both in the Simulacrum and normal missions, Prisma Shade does not restore the user's shield unless the Guardian mod is equipped. It requires the Guardian mod to restore shields, just like any other sentinel.

  2. Max range build max troll mode engaged

In all seriousness though, I imagine a max range Undertow could be rather useful as a reliable knockdown in the whole area if quickly activated and deactivated, and might also see some use in raids because of being able to completely disable all enemies in more than 40m range while remaining completely invincible. Don't know if Hydroid can still activate pads while in Undertow, though.

What do you think about this change, Tenno?

  3. This would definitely solve the issue, but I'm not sure people will take too kindly to it.

Though, to be fair, it IS called Greedy Pull.

Hardly. People will just replace Mag with Trinity. Frost will Snowglobe the Mesa, Mesa will switch off Peacemaker, Trinity will EV an enemy and kill it to instantly kick Mesa's energy back to full, Mesa will switch Peacemaker back on and continue the slaughter. All of this can be done in about 5 seconds or less.

Good idea! Bye Draco, and good riddance!

This will not solve the Draco issue at all.

  4. First off let me just say that I love the idea behind the remake and all the stat changes, especially the massive bonus armor that Excalibur recieved.

That being said I cant help but feel like the energy waves during his ultimate should ONLY appear when you channel your melee - currently he is just too strong to even bother doing anything else - plus he currently makes poor Valkyr look like an amateur - though she was supposed to be the ultimate melee raging beast.

Now dont get me wrong here - I absolutely love the remake! No doubt.

But the waves on his ultimate are just way too strong if they appear constantly.

I realize that this may be stepping into a beartrap - but I main Excalibur myself - so trust me when I say its too much.

Please dont hate me fellow Excalibros <3

    "edited for clarity"

Don't the energy waves drain energy if they hit enemies while channeling is active? If EB was changed so that the energy waves only appear when channeling, wouldn't that make it drain energy very quickly? It would hardly ever be a good idea to even use the energy waves then.

  5. Not sure if this is a bug or intended behavior: The energy waves from Exalted Blade do no damage to Nullifier shields and thus cannot shrink and eventually deactivate them. Other projectile abilities like Fireball, Freeze and Shuriken inflict damage on Nullifier shields and reduce their size, aren't Exalted Blade energy waves supposed to do the same?

  6. The auto-parry function of Exalted Blade is bugged and doesn't block knockdown and grappling hooks. Enemy ground slams and scorpion/ancient grappling hooks can still knock Excalibur down despite EB being active. Normal parrying blocks knockdowns and hooks, so why doesn't EB auto-parry block them as well?

  7. Facepalm, no it's not, it stil auto parries even if you are attacking, so as long as the enemy is front of you are immortal.(however this might be a bug)

The auto-parry function doesn't work correctly. You are still fully susceptible to all forms of knockdown and staggers, regardless if they come from the front (in which case the auto-parry should block it completely) or the back (in which case it should inflict knockdown as normal). Normal parrying blocks knockdowns from ground slams and grappling hooks, so why doesn't EB block them?

  8. Excalibur's Exalted Blade auto-parry function doesn't work properly. It doesn't block knockdowns from enemy heavy ground slams or grappling hooks. A heavy gunner can knock you down despite EB auto-parry being active, and ancients/scorpions can still use their grappling hooks to knock you down and pull you to them.

Normal parrying blocks all of these attacks, so shouldn't EB's auto-parry block them too?

  9. Exalted Blade energy waves do no damage to Nullifier shields whatsoever. The energy waves should damage and shrink the shield, just like other powers do (for example, Freeze and Fireball).

Also the auto-parry function on Exalted Blade doesn't block knockdowns and ancient/scorpion hooks even though normal parrying blocks all of those.

  10. I can confirm this. EB doesn't take melee mods into account when not hosting. I played a T2 Surv with a friend today, I was the host. We had pretty much the exact same mod loadouts on our melee weapons and the same amount of +power strength on our frames, I was killing corrupted heavy gunners with one non-channeled hit, he required at least two channeled hits to kill one. As the enemies scaled up later, he usually required 5+ channeled hits to kill one, while I was still killing them in 1-2 normal, non-channeled hits.

  11. I found an important bug affecting Exalted Blade: It doesn't appear to benefit from melee mods if the player is not the host. Tested today in a T2 Survival mission with a friend, I was host and easily killing corrupted heavy gunners with one non-channeled hit, while he required 2+ channeled hits to kill one. Later into the mission, as the enemies scaled up, he usually required 5+ channeled strikes to bring one down, while I still required 1-2 normal hits.

I was using a Prisma Skana while he was using the Dragon Nikana, both were modded with base damage mods (Pressure Point, Spoiled Strike), attack speed mods, and elemental mods. The mod loadouts were pretty much the same, but my EB was hitting much harder than his.

  12. The thing is, DE is passively controlling the event and the players let themselves be controlled by following the most shiny and biggest bait they are being offered. I think that only those players that already have pretty much every mod, weapon, etc etc, the endgame players are the only ones who really stick to the side they have decided to help, no matter the reward. And that is, of course, not the majority.

I'm fighting against Alad no matter what kind of reward he puts up. I'm not going to switch to his side, ever.

  13.

You also have to ask why, if he's fulling controlled by the hive mind, why is he paying us rather than sending his own forces after it?  If he were Corpus he might be afraid of losing profits from trading with the Grineer.  But as an Infested he would actually benefit from attacking the lab and assimilating the clones.

I do suspect there's more going to happen than is being shown on the surface.  But the same applies to Nef.  I don't buy that all he wants is for Alad V to suffer.

Because if the Hive Mind sent its forces to storm the labs and take the data it would draw enough attention to make the Lotus send the Tenno to stop it. It would make its attempt to get the data much more difficult because the Tenno would get in the way. It's far easier and simpler for it to use Alad V to try tricking the Tenno into giving it the data it wants, instead of fighting through both the Grineer and Tenno.

  14. we kinda did offer ourselves dude. all tenno are infected by tehnocyte

that's just a theory, just as everything else is

It's not just a theory. During the quest to obtain Mesa it is revealed that Alad V has completely lost his mind to the Infestation, and no longer has any free will of his own. He says what the hive mind wants him to say, that is all. The hive mind is masquerading as Alad V wanting a cure so Tenno would help it get the data it needs.

  15. There is no cure, and there won't be a cure, because the Infested hive mind has no interest in creating a cure. The hive mind is using Alad V's infested body to trick the Tenno into giving it the data it needs to improve its Infested horde. The person Alad V once was is gone, replaced by the will of the hive mind.

How people still don't realize this is beyond me.

  16. Hm, but WILL he control the cure? Isn't the Lotus the one who is downloading the data from Regor's lab, then passing it on to Alad? That means we have the same data he does. Because I doubt that we'd just turn it over to him without making copies for ourselves. So even if he starts trying to use it for personal gain, we could feasibly counter his extortion. Assuming we can do the same as he does and work out a cure.

The copy of the data we get will not be of much use to us if Alad gets the same data. He can use it to augment and improve the Infested to make them outright immune to any cure we would be able to create with the data.
