While true: "Why can’t I participate and claim some items on the Twitch iOS app? Drops that grant rewards for iOS apps & games do not support claiming through the Twitch iOS app at this time." Also quoted from Twitch FaQ So, for someone using iOS, they are now going to have to use PC/Mac Web Browser or an Android device.
