So, I finally got my last Khora part drop today. This is awesome for a couple reasons:
1. I never have to do regular onslaught again. Elite mode only.
2. The relic drops from elite mode are already upgraded. Hello new relic farm place...
3. Regular onslaught is boring AF. People bring their soundquake banshees or their equinox and it turns into a giant snoozefest.
So, when I need to cap some focus, it will be in elite mode now. When I need relics, it will be in elite mode. I'm ok with that 😁

Just wanted to point out that morality and laws are two different things. To go further down this side note, morality being enforced by laws are actually, imo, quite terrible laws.
Consider this: a local city law where you live is passed that states you must treat people with kindness or face a fine. How would this be enforced? What is considered kindness? Can you joke around? What about friends who are trading digs at each other for fun?
While the above is an extreme example of laws attempting to enforce a moral standard, there are plenty of more gray examples IRL if you take a look at laws in many places. :)
On topic: not really concerned with this tbh. DE has proven they are pretty reasonable when it comes to handling things of this matter, and this clause is solely in there for legal protection.

Not gonna lie... Went solo to an ODE to farm kavat scans. Got annoyed after one run, and only one code. Proceeded to go-to the market, and buy the remaining 4 genetic codes I needed (had 4, farmed one, needed 4 more for all the parts). At least it wasn't MY plat purchase this time. Thanks whover bought the Lato and Braton Vandal sets I sold!

Funny story, I got a steam link for Xmas. The other day I tried to run my OP excal prime through an earth exterminate using an Xbox controller. I was all thumbs (pun intended....)
Just give it some time and you will find your mouse and keyboard 'sea legs'. If I had regular access to the TV, I'm sure I could manage to get decent with the controller.

One of my current favorites is the lato vandal. Yeah it's a pita to farm, but totally worth it IMO. Overlooked secondary. Decent crit, do a similar build on my lex prime.
Lato vandal benefits from the following:
-low recoild
-decent accuracy
-sufficient fire rate
-good magazine size
-fast reload (put on Mesa for stupid fast reload)
One of the biggest drawbacks is meh damage, but primed fire dmg and corrosive (2 90% mods) helps make up for this. Think I had to forma it 6 times though... So there's that.

Somewhere on Mars. If there is a survival or excavation, get some guildiestogether and run a 4 man for pigments.
<Shudders> just wait till you get into the vayhek pigments... The number of times I ran vay hek gives me nightmares years later...

It definitely didn't take me 50+ hours to farm it. Got some duplicate parts, went to trade channel, and traded parts, no plat. Hell, I have already 6-forma'd my Lato Vandal, and 3 forma'd my Braton Vandal.
Other things aquired: NOT Khora, bunch or parts, which were sold to others, including a FULL Braton set, some captura scenes, and even traded some parts for a Braton riven. Also got the peculiar mod last night as well. O.o

I have a Ryzen 7 running @3.7ghz, with 16gb of RAM, and a 100/20 ISP connection, hard lined (not wifi) and even my system experiences some slowdowns when hosting some of the more intense scenes. Let us be your test dummies, and they will polish it up for your couches. It's not ready yet. At least not for final release (console push).

it also doesn't help when you go into a Grineer worker only Zone where they spawn 2 at a time and don't even attack you.
Combined with the low drop rate for anything other than relics, the captura scenes rewards and the crashes. at this point i think they just don't want people to play the mode at all.
No idea why they added ONLY grineer workers. They don't even aggro ><

I do a HoM setup, but try to not sacrifice range solely so that her 4 still works. Primed flow, max streamline, max blind rage, right now, for elite onslaught, I run redirection (if I had primed vigor I would use that instead), vitality, and quick thinking. Think for duration I have primed continuity only. You could toss the redirection, and even the vitality for more duration if you want. For the exilus slot, I swap it out alot. Speed drift is nice, as are the elemental bullet jump mods. Rush works too. Aura is always CP for me. No reason to run anything else IMO.
Mirage is quite squishy for onslaught. If you really only on quick thinking, you can easily find yourself in a world of hurt on the infested levels with a ton of leeches. Hence why I tossed on the kitchen sink for her defensive mods. HoM hits like a truck with the augment, and add in eclipse and you are having a great time blasting things. I enjoy either running a lenz (all the explosive arrows) or a Quanta Vandal with her.

Cheese it? Frames I have capped focus not trying to: Excal P, Volt, Mirage (HoM build), Melee Saryn. Why cheese when the zones are filled with sweet, actual flowing nectar of focus?

That reminds me.... I need to get my Radial blind build up and running. Nothing like saying 'wut armor' on zone 12 of an elite onslaught...
To answer the OP, I really enjoy diving into the thick of things, and leaving a whirlwind of destruction in the wake. So, accordingly, I'd say I'm a radial blind build excal. Stabbing all the things one time, cause that's all I need to do. Perfect blend of graceful reactions and being able to take a lump or two.

I wouldn't worry much about focus farming. When consoles get the onslaught, one elite hits cap easily. It's awesome... I don't feel the need to focus farm, just one round with a frame that holds the lens I want to level that day. Wreck face and when it is done, I am capped focus-wise at MR22, well before the 6th zone usually. No cheese, just straight wrecking things. I'm thinking today is my Ember/Madurai day. Time to bust out my accelerant build with the augment. :D

I did a hybrid style build on mine (all mods maxed):
Serration, split chamber, shred, point strike, vital sense, Hunter munitions, and two dual stat (60% dmg/60% status) mods, so that I can enjoy all three fire modes at once. I also have a pure status build, and a pure crit build, but mostly I use the hybrid build.

Glaives are awesome in conjunction with Saryn. Cast spores on a mob, throw glaive with power throw and whirlwind, glaive blows up when it hits, spores pop and spread. Rinse and repeat as desired.

Silly question, but if you finish the Nidus stuff do frames still get infected? I have been procrastinating farming Nidus... Wondering if I should prioritize that solely for the cyst thing 😂
