The whole thing is a complete joke of a boss.  This boss originally was supposed to have different "stages" to the archwing battle with it.  Now they are probably saving it for the trials, which sucks, they should have implemented it as part of the standard fight.  The actual fight we got with Golem is overly simple and not challenging.  It really feels like that just slapped the fight together last minute. 

     

    The part of the mission within the ship before the archwing portion is also very simple and easy. 

     

    Yup, feels like the dropped the ball on this one, the bullet sponge boss was a kick to the face. Can they not create an interesting multistage boss fight?

  2. I have replicated this over 10 times today, after one trap on synthesis target wears off, the target just disappears into thin air and then eventually gone. Tried on Eris for Runners and Jupiter for Anti-Moa.

     

    I confirmed, traps cause the targets to fall into the floor and vanish. You can scan them so long as a trap is not used.

This has been my experience so far.  Zephyrs were insanely mobile, Nova's still give you that cross map in a flash potential, Valkyr gap closes harder (bullet jump>double jump>ripline to wall is strictly more powerful than not having ripline).  I haven't seen many Loki's and dopple-port was a nifty trick and presumably it still can be, it will probably have nifty usage with wall grabbing and crossing big gaps. 

     

    In general things feel much more vertically mobile than they used to be, even with air melee sometimes sending leaping over a tall building.  Horizontally things feel slower and in general any powers or abilities that helped with horizontal movement will still be just as good.  Main powers to look for that get shorta shafted would be vertically oriented ones like Vaubans jump pad which was already arguably obsolete due to air melee before parkour 2.0 even hit (outside of its usage as CC).  

     

    Sure ill admit those powers are still useful, but their useful like having a back up helicopter is useful in case your private jet breaks down. 

    Having one of these powers just feels like a glorified luxury rather than a useful part of the kit.

     

    You can cross the map and gap close just fine without those powers now and I feel any extra advantage they give you for these tasks is negligible.

     

    Though I admit on a second look Zepher's been buffed.

  4. True, though now getting up there is not difficult whatsoever since we can infinitely wall hop. It might take 12 seconds instead of 2, but that's compared to it taking closer to 2 minutes before the changes. And that's if you were even good enough to do it, I've met a lot of people who literally could not climb to the top of that room in an hour of trying, and gave up.

     

    Yeah, I even have the infinite rip line syndicate mod on my valkyr that made getting up there a breeze, but now that mods useless, whats the point? I can just super jump / wall run.

  5. Anyone feel the same?

     

    Ever since the drop iv felt that frames like Nova, Valkyr, Zepher, Loki, have all taken a bit of a hit as part of their kit was extra mobility, but now everyone is super mobile.

     

    I kinda want them to get new powers the way movement is set now (or nerf the current movement a bit to make them useful again.) I play nova and valkyr a lot but im quickly finding the hassle of spending energy isn't worth using their traversal shortcuts, which is a shame because that's half the reason I loved them!

     

    Anyone else getting the same feels, or perhaps experiencing the opposite?

     

    Maybe this situation is only present on the levels I have been playing.

  6. Every infected synthesis target I have gone after today has fell through the floor and fallen down into oblivion after I got one scan off of it. Making it impossible to get the rest of the needed scans.

     

    It's been happening consistently for me where I have tried scanning on Eris. 

  7. Ok so my grievances so far... which is one.

     

    The new movement system is to powerful!

     

    There is no longer a use I feel for abilitys like Valkyr's rip line or nova's portals and why should there be? We have infinite wall climbing ability and when there are no walls we can super jump THEN double jump.

     

    If the system isn't going to be turned down can we get replacement ability for these skills that are no longer useful?

  8. Not thrilled with the mag change, not sure the reasons for it, but if it was to stop mag mesa combo power hour then there must be a better way to fix that?

     

    What if mags greedy pull only pulled in items on every third pull?

     

    Or maybe it just had say a 50% chance to pull items?

     

    Or really anything that didn't outright kill her viability.

     

    (I literally finished my mag prime the day this patch hit and spent platinum to open a slot for her. I am very sad now. )

  9. Perching on a wall, waiting in ambush of one's quarry? I like. Hopping around walls like a cracked out squirrel, not so much. It's not that I'm against wall hopping, I think if it looks like Ninja Gaiden or Shinobi, then it would be fine, and I definitely don't want wall running GONE...it just doesn't look right to me, yet.

     

    Agree, Not a fan of the lack of wall running.  Though I like the spider man aspect. 

     

    I'm not sure this is fixing a problem as much as making new problems.
