Mask of the revenant update made my warframe have a strast drop in performance

As stated in the title I just updated my game to the mask of the revenant update, and I typically get 60 fps constant on high graphics with motion blur disabled. Though after the update I have a delay with my curser and am only running the game at 15-30 fps, which continued even after I lowered all my graphical settings to medium. I'm running an NVIDIA GTX 980M for my graphics card, 8 gb of ram, and an intel core i7. If anyone else is having this issue or knows how to solve it please leave a comment!!!

I have performance issues since the new update with my GTX 760.
I dip below 40 fps in PoE! Before update I had around 70 fps with resolution scaling.
PC and Warframe settings untouched. 😢
