Major fps drops at ~50% cpu/gpu usage

I posted this on reddit, but figured dev's might not be reading it as much.

I monitored GPU and CPU for a a single bounty at plains.
My CPU and GPU usage remain at around half - yet my FPS takes a major hit.

1080p vs 4k DSR makes negligible difference.
Also running off 950 evo SSD (the drive where warfame is).
GTX 1080 with OC. i7 4770. 16GB DDR3.

I do not see what's bottle necking me.

Here is the afterburned log for that session:

The graph shows constant drop and nether my CPU or GPU is remotely bottlenecking.

So something else that does not depend on hardware seems to be limiting framerates.

This just happened to all four members of my team of randoms. Started out feeling a bit like lag, and progressed to sub-10fps for all of us with, in my case, 20% CPU usage and <10% GPU usage.

1080p/60hz
Phenom II X6 1045T
Radeon RX580
16GB RAM

The only significant thing I saw was WF using 2.4GB of RAM, but that doesn't seem unreasonable, especially for being on the plains with four people and a bounty going.

Seems to be affecting a lot of people since the last update. It only happens to me in multiplayer. If I run a solo mission, 60fps on ultra, 1080 GTX. Multiplayer and boom, drops to 35 fps regardless of graphics quality.

--------

Update: installing the latest nvidia driver seems to have done the trick. Only tested for half an hour, but no more frame drops, runs smooth between 55-60 as it used to.

Considering i could go solo without frame limiter at 150-180 fps (essentially at 4k ultra) - i could drop do 40-50 in MP plains even at 1080p ultra.
That's almost like a 12x loss in overall performance (4k frame takes 4 times longer to render on top of the ~4x frame rate drop).

Got a feeling it's got something to do with the dx10/11 optimisations.
