Turns out i need to be MR 13 to sell the riven, and I'm only barely MR 8 currently, so I'm unable to sell this for a while.

ahh. Hmm you should still be able to trade it. Mr 2 is when you can use the tp.

I tried to trade an MR 8 riven when i was MR 7 and it told me i had to be MR 8

Naw that guys high. You only need to be MR 8 to use the riven not the rank to trade it.
