A Discord server created as a platform for Warframe players to give back to the community by donating towards public giveaways! We're a group of long time players with a background in moderating and/or administrating various communities who're seeking to organize a platform where anyone, if willing, can easily giveaway items to a large following without having to organize everything themselves or go through another Discord that simply doesn't do it often enough or how you would like. Or even here on Reddit, where the post might just get drowned out overtime. Our server aims to be a reliable and friendly platform for Tenno to donate items to the community without having to worry about the logistical aspect of giveaways. Why are you doing this? We realized that a lot of us had run successful giveaways for our clans or friends, and we wanted to take that to the next level. Every year, Warframe runs several events with generosity at their core, such as the Harmony Ribbon, Tennobaum, and Tenno Without Borders. There may be people out there willing to give that do not have the time to co-ordinate giveaways or handle the tracking of prizes. Many of our team members have experience with these aspects, and are happy to use that experience to help the community. In addition, our transparency in our giveaway process allows users to track their donations from start to finish to ensure that everything is going as planned. What do I need to join? There is only one thing you need, and that is Discord. Discord is completely free and is available to download here. Discord is a free VOIP client that also specializes in text communication, created primarily for gaming communities. The reason we're using Discord is because there are a lot of tools (mostly public bots and channels) which help us to organize this with ease. So if you don't have Discord yet, you now have another reason to get it! After you've downloaded Discord, the only thing you need to do in order to be eligible for a giveaway is simply be a member of our server, simple as that! When is this starting? Now! We've already started giving away a handful of stuff worth a few hundred plat, and we also have items from the community that're completely up for grabs (first come, first serve). We currently have three main tiers of giveaways, the first two of which you can already partake in: T1: Anyone can give away items on a first come, first serve basis, traded from you to whoever contacts you for the item(s). This is intended for small items of a minimum value of 10P to a moderate value. T2: This is comprised of items generally worth 40P or more, usually individual or low quantity items that we'll run for a couple of days and determine the winner by RNG, which I’m sure we’re all very familiar with! T3: This is the fun part. This is where more complicated giveaways organized by our staff come in, which is comprised of items of very high value, high quantity or somewhere in the middle. This could be anywhere between a Captura event or a large giveaway involving hundreds of items. We aim to end our giveaways at the start of the weekend so the prize delivery will be easy for both staff and winner. If the winner cannot be contacted within a week, it'll be rerolled again by the staff. We also wish to offer customization and rewards to our donors, so donors may (within reason) specify desired restrictions such as, but not limited to: Unowned (items only) - The winner must not have a copy of the item. Unmastered - The winner must have not already mastered the item being donated. Beginner Only - The winner must not have more than 100 hours of in-game time. Novice Only - The winner must not have more than 250 hours of in-game time.
