Bright Purity and Whipclaw

Using the standard Skana with Bright Purity. As I understand Whipclaw Khora's first ability should interact with filling the purity meter. It does not appear to be doing so.

Where did you get that idea?

Those Syndicate meters fill up based on how much Affinity the weapon gains while it is your active weapon.

Using Whipclaw to kill stuff gives you nothing but Warframe Affinity,
so even if you're in Melee mode, your Skana still won't get any charging progress on its Purity meter.
