DaraSilverDragon Posted September 19, 2018 Share Posted September 19, 2018 I've been wondering... trading posts are nice for facilitating direct trading of goods and multiple items and such, but it can be far too manual sometimes. Why not have a dojo room that comes with some built-in 'stalls' that you can access to place items into the stall, then specify an item to be traded for it (most likely a set price in platinum, credits, or Atayan Sculptures)? Basically you treat the stall like a fake player - by adding 'stock' to your shop, you trade your item to the stall for free (and can have it trade you the item back by reclaiming the item), and other players can then interact with this 'stall player' entity to make those predetermined trades. If they do, the stall holds onto the items (or currencies) it's been paid, and trades them to you for free the next time you check your own shop. I recognize that some clans are maxed at 1000 members (like the Cohhilition), so opening the stall UI could offer a scroll-able list of all member's stores sorted first by rank and then by join date, and the top would have a search bar so you could look up specific users. It might even have a second search bar where you could search by item, and it would filter all users selling that item. This would tie nicely into the upcoming 'featured dojo' mechanic, as well-decorated dojos have a chance of becoming publicly visible/visitable, meaning lots of traffic through the dojo and lots of randoms looking through their market room - this gives even ghost clans a strong incentive to be creative and aesthetic when making and decorating their dojo, since the prettier the dojo is, the more likely it is to get featured It wouldn't make the Warframe.Market site completely useless since it will only show things being sold within a single clan, but it would lessen dependence on 3rd party properties, make trading large quantities of items easier on all parties involved, and most importantly - it would be cool as hell and fit nicely with the 'feel' of the dojos, and of Warframe in general Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
