Reactant drop rates messed up?

Is there something wrong with (Void Relic) Reactant drop-rates?

 I know I'm kinda just venting here but heck, i just opened two Rads and didn't get enough Reactant in Survival to get a reward even though i was moving forward & one-shot killing everything in front of me without idling at all 😫

I realize this system is in place to prevent leeching but I just notice how it is making me just focus and anxious about getting enough Reactant each run thereby having a negative impact on the enjoyment while also not being a skillful task to focus on.

That explains what im seeing on console, this issue occurs for me on defense missions as well. Rift opens, enemys are all dead and its just in the air shining like nothing.
