[Module] Scaled Skin - Armor Applied To Shields

Scaled Skin is a very simple mod. It applies X% of armor to shields, removing the same percentage of armor from health. This allows Frames with good shields and armor to actually utilize their armor well, but it makes it so that if your shields are drained, you're going to lose health very fast.

At max rank, it costs 11 points and converts 90% of health armor to shield armor. The polarity is 17px-D.png (Defense).

Well, having a frost with well over 200 armor (which is around 70% damage reduction) i can easily say that such mod would make certain builds OP as hell.

 

 

Either way such mod has no right to exist as U10 is around the corner and whole damage dealing and armor mechanics are going to be changed.

Guess what?

 

You're supposed to... tank, or something like that, if you have a Frost or Rhino. It's a weird idea, I know. It's not OP to actually use your armor. Such a weird &amp;#&#33; idea, but it is one. Point and laugh.

 

I agree with that. This is not a suggestion. It's an idea. I'm not saying DE should add this, just that it's a thought.
