Arbitration Additions for Fun

I think there are some missed opportunities with Arbitrations as far as fun and flavor is concerned. Why only endless missions for one? Not everyone enjoys those. Not to mention the extended length of them makes them an even bigger turn-off to such players. The lacking enemy numbers are hardly a consolation, either. I don't actually have a problem with the drones because I think power spam is obnoxious(personal opinion).

I posted some of these ideas in other threads but thought I'd add them here. I thought we could introduce a few non-endless mission types with some tweaks. These would be welcome to people who worked all day and don't want to sit in something for 30+ minutes.

Capture: Have multiple targets to capture under a short time limit. For example, 5 targets under 2 minutes. 3 captures are necessary for an A rotation, 4 for B, and all 5 for C. Seems simple enough. I hope none have a Glaxion.

Exterminate: Have invincible assassins stalking the players throughout the mode. Have specific target times to hit for rotation payouts. (Completion always yields at least A.)

Mobile Defense: Put it on a mobile platform that players have to defend. Make the enemies have some sort of knock back to push the players off. If they fall, they lose. Terminal health can gate rotation rewards. (This is sort of like a Mario Party game I guess).

Hijack: Have the enemies stealing from the Tenno instead. How or why doesn't matter. It just sounds like silly fun.

As for adding more ideas to the current endless...

Excavation: Have the excavators powered off the warframe's shields similar to hijack. It would help create the agency to stay and protect the excavator and allow everyone to dump the power carrier mechanic that sometimes doesn't work so well.

Defection: Have the Kavor resistant to healing that isn't the towers(not immune, just reduced). Or have them move slower if they are alone and faster if they aren't being escorted by a player. As it is now you can just send them on their way most of the time. Maybe to lighten the mood the Kavor could break dance to the escape pods if escorted(joking, maybe).

Survival: As life support dips, have fog increase to reduce visibility. This would help hide enemies and obstacles make it more exciting(maybe).

As a last point of feedback, add ways to reduce the length of rotations in the endless variants by adding opt-in penalties to players. For example, if everyone wants to shave off 2 minutes of the next survival breakpoint, they can choose something like half power-duration. These penalties are random and only show up after the first rotation. They are also not compulsory and the majority/all players would have to accept the penalty. I think this could help speed up the dull feeling Arbitrations currently have for many. It also adds a bit of flavor to the mission with some potentially challenging modifiers.

If you made it to the end, thanks for reading. Feel free to criticize or iterate on any these ideas. They are hardly without fault but I wanted to spice up the gameplay a bit.

This would trivialise it. It would just be too easy to keep shields up (or use Inaros...) I would much prefer this, because the power carries are incredibly useless. But I do not see it happening.

I like the idea for Defection.

Squishy frame + hard to see enemies = dead. I do not think this would work out very well. Personally, I find "dense fog" to be pointless. It is just annoying. There would be far better ways to make it exciting.

The rest sound fun.
