Todesnuss
I don't know how long exactly this has been going so it might be related to a recent update. Yesterday I noticed my fps counter being stuck at 60 and only fluctuating while loading either during or just after a loading screen or during transition into an open world (usually upwards oddly enough). I tried testing with vsync on and off as well as both full screen and windowed full screen. No matter what I do it wont change. G-sync is on and my monitor is set to 165. I'd appreciate if anyone has any clue what's going on. GPU is a 980 ti. Monitor is an Asus ROG PG279Q. Matheoryon
Look into a tool called nvidia inspector, and see if setting the max fps helps.
Todesnuss
I'm not sure how nvidia inspector is supposed to help me. When I tested with vsync off I tried several max framerate settings including unlocked and it didn't change anything. edit: Just tried turning off vsync again and this time it actually did unlock the framerate. Either way it's a bit strange that vsync doesn't sync to my monitors actual refresh rate but just flat 60. I personally prefer having vsync on over just locking my framerate but I guess it's aight if I set it to 144. edit 2: Just tried in another game and it seems like the same problem exists there so I guess this thread doesn't really belong here.
