K-Drive Stagger during grind?

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is actually a bug or if I'm just terrible, but in the vast majority of cases when I try to grind with the K-Drive, my frame does a little stagger animation after a second, which interrupts the grind and the point-combo. When I don't run into this problem, I can easily get to the 3000 points combo, but while I have it I cannot even grind down the long straight pipe next to the Fortuna entrance.

Any idea what I could be doing wrong?

There’s a thread in the Fortuna bug section claiming you can turn your FPS down to under 60 and alleviate the problem... it’s strange but they claim it works.
